They worked nonstop for 12 hours to complete our roof in one day and leave us with a beautiful new Owens-Corning 50 year roof. The next day the gutter/downspout crew returned and installed new gutters with leaf guard and downspouts Again - excellent work and beautiful results. I was nervous but once I spoke with them, I was at ease. Every part of the process with the Gutter Twins went smoothly. The gutter system I have consist of 2 long gutters each about 50' long on the North and South side of the house ... nothing complicated. 11/4/25 - Called Gutter Twins to get a quote. I should have listen to my head when the red flags started to go up. First, they demanded a 30% down payment, second, they said it would take two weeks to get to me. Nonetheless, I ignored my inner instincts and approved Job Number 3636 with the stipulation they try to see me as soon as possible since the North gutter is completely blocked and when it rains I get a 3' long waterfall running down the side of the building. 11/6/25 - They sent me a receipts showing they took out $114.75 from my credit card. (Exhibit 1) 11/6/25 - Received an email stating they had placed me on the schedule for 'Monday, November 10, 2025 arriving between 9:30 am and 10:30 am'. (Exhibit 2) 11/10/25 - Come Noon and no one showed up. I called their office and was first told they were delayed but would get to see me today. 3:00 pm, called the office again, this time they said the crew was having trouble finding my location but would get to me as soon as they figure out how to get to my house. This was utter nonsense. My address has 3 city locations that you can type in Google Map and find where I live. You can use Easton, Raubsville and Williams Township ... all will show up in google Map. They never showed up. Note I was the one calling them, they never called me to say they were not coming or delayed. 11/11/25 - Sent then screen shots of Google Map and my address, and a photo of my house. (Exhibit 3 and Exhibit 6) They sent an email saying I was schedule to get my gutters clean 'tomorrow'. 11/12/25 - Same thing, no one called and no one showed up. Now it is two days I've lost in earnings and time waiting for this company to come clean my gutters. 11/13/25 - In the morning received an email from Gutter Twins saying they were canceling the order (Exhibit 4). No explanation or reason for why they did not show up twice. Well I've had enough. Called Gutter Twin but no one picked up. Left a somewhat stern voice mail and demanded a refund of my deposit followed by an email (Exhibit 5). Completely irresponsible, have no sense of customer service, and definitely unprofessional. Stay Away! Go to Google Review to see Exhibits. Yelps does not let you download documents pr photos.

This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. And it is preferable to over-promising and under-delivering. Will not belabor the point, that is my most recent experience. And hopefully this review saves you... time. Thanks.

Turns out the former owner had used silicone in an elbow joint that wasn't sloped properly, so when it didn't drain at the rate it should, it would drip. The silicone had worn down, so John and the team applied gutter grade sealant with no complaints and no extra charge. The gutters are working great. I definitely trust this team with my business.

UPDATE: Paul's corporate, word-smithed reply is filled with blatant untruths and gross misrepresentations. His baseless allegation that I attempted to extort a cash payment is ridiculous. I have never felt so personally violated by a business in my life. 1. I did not "provide guidance" to Noah while he was backing into my car. 2. Paul's baseless allegation that I attempted to extort a cash payment from him is ridiculous. I have involved law enforcement in the matter. 3. I did not "decline" to provide evidence of the damage done to my property by CalCo Design. 4. At no point in our March 27 conversation did Paul ask me to get a second estimate. I offered to do this on March 21 (see my texts with Matt), but my offer was never acknowledged. 5. Paul's "prompt" response took 5 business days, and occurred only after I mentioned involving insurance. For comparison, his response to this Yelp review took only 2 hours. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I didn't want to have to leave a negative review because, apart from smashing a company box truck into my parked car, the installers (Noah and Daryl) did decent work on my shower. However, my experience with CalCo's sales team and ownership has been so troubling that I feel I must warn other potential customers about it. I have included screenshots of texts and emails so that their content cannot be disputed by the owners. I expect that one of them will reply to my review and try to cast doubt on my experience. In December, a salesperson (Ben or Matt, I can't recall) visited my home to go over shower replacement options. He pressured me to sign a contract on the spot, urging that the price would increase substantially "as soon as he walked out the door." Admittedly, I gave into his pressure and signed the contract without obtaining quotes from other companies: my first mistake. On March 21 at 8am, I watched as Noah backed a CalCo box truck into my parked car, causing obvious damage to my front bumper. Daryl notified the salesperson handling my account (Matt), who asked me to get an estimate from a local body shop. I naively wanted to give CalCo the opportunity to remedy the situation directly. As a result, I did not immediately file a police report or an insurance claim: my second mistake. On March 24, I sent an estimate from a reputable body shop to Matt. For the next two days he told me hadn't had a chance to discuss it with the owners, and on March 26 he stopped responding altogether. On March 27, I left Matt a voicemail and sent an email to him and the owners (Paul and Andrew) requesting an update, as the lack of communication was worrying to me. That afternoon, Paul called me and rudely informed me they hadn't responded because "they were busy" (for comparison, he replied to this review within 2 hours), demanded video evidence proving CalCo's employees caused the damage, claimed (falsely) that his employees told him it was "just a light tap" and couldn't see any damage, and suggested that because I live in Lancaster City and park my car on the street I should expect that my vehicle will naturally receive damage. He brought up that I told Noah my car had been sideswiped on that street once before, which I had told Noah because he was visibly upset about the accident and, out of kindness, I was trying to make him feel better about making an honest mistake; but I'd had that damage repaired through my insurance and there was no damage to my bumper until Noah backed into it. When I mentioned my intention to leave honest reviews of my experience, Paul accused me of "threatening his business" and implied that because I had not immediately filed a police report or an insurance claim, I was not being truthful about what happened. He was rude, condescending, and disrespectful. I eventually grew tired of Paul's bullying, ended the call, and immediately filed a police report. I regret trusting that as neighbors and members of my community, CalCo's owners would take responsibility for their employee's actions. I have learned a hard lesson that just because someone is your neighbor does not mean that they're your friend. If you are considering hiring CalCo, I would offer the following suggestions based on my experience: 1. Don't let them pressure you into signing a contract on the spot. Get quotes from other vendors before signing anything. 2. Don't expect them to honor verbal agreements. Get everything in writing. 3. If they damage your property, document it extensively and create an official record of the damage as soon as possible.
