Everyone I talked with throughout the process were professional, experienced, prompt and courteous. On the day that I could not be home, Kurt sent me pictures of the progress of their work which was very comforting to me. When the job was completed, a final walk through was performed as well as a personal phone call from Kurt who asked if I was satisfied with their work. I can honestly say that I was blown away by how Klausmair Construction operates. This is a premier company that provides over the top quality work and service. Needless to say our car tires were in danger! When asked about this they replied that's what happens when a roof is replaced!! My neighbor physically picked up twenty two nails in the parking lot! A few months after the roof was finished I noticed three different areas of my condo had water marks on the ceilings . I contacted the condo association whom sent a handy man over to inspect the situation. He assured me that there was an issue with the roof replacement. We then contacted Klausmair to report the damages. Two young men showed up at my condo only to deny any wrongdoing! They were extremely disrespectful to me as a woman let a lone a home owner. The men told me if the wind blows the wrong way I would get water in the condo!! I'm almost positive that the wind will continue to blow and I find it hard to believe that the wind only blew on my condo since I'm connected to five other condos that had not gotten water on their ceilings! Low and behold after denying my claim to fix my water stains. They returned at a later date to replace/install the roof boot which was not installed at the time of the roof replacement! Just about two weeks ago now a shingle blew off the roof not sure what will happen with that problem!! I would like to warn anyone looking for a roof replacement to go to a professional that will guarantee their work for the duration or the warranty!! This company were so unprofessional and degrading I don't know if I would have them put a roof on a dog house let a lone my home!! Thank you!

(While on my roof for the initial estimate, Kevin also noticed a seal that was dry rotted and brought that to my attention as something to fix as well which I really appreciated) So we had to replace our gutters. We switched from 5in to 6in. Every step of the process was done promptly and professionally. Every member of the team I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Even after the initial install when I needed one minor correction, I never felt worried that I was being blown off or lesser priority. I was not charged for the service until it was done to my complete satisfaction. Our new gutters are fantastic and look really nice too. My experience with American Remodeling started at the Corvettes of Carlisle show where a…read moresalesperson gave me a flyer for discount. We had been talking about remodeling our main bathroom shower for years, and finally decided to pursue the job with this company. We thought "Bald Nick" as he called himself, was a fairly good salesperson, and so we signed a contract with the company thinking we were going to get a great product, a good construction crew (not subs but their own staff) and we would be thrilled with the outcome. Well, the crew was great and did a very professional job all the way through. But what we ordered and what we got are night and day, and we totally are disappointed with the end result. We talked about a white base for the shower, but then I told "B. Nick" that no we wanted it to match the beautiful colored walls that we chose. We needed to look at the fine print on the contract. And the crew worked with the door closed, bringing items in from the garage to the bathroom so we didn't see the white base until the walls were all installed. We ordered a rain drop glass shower door that would open wide like our previous door so at our ages we could be prepared for a shower chair and wheelchair access at the outside of the shower. No, they didn't tell us they didn't have it and the crew began to install a sliding clear glass door that would have been horrible. Luckily we caught that just after the installed the metal rails. They took the rails out, filled the holes so they could still be seen, and left after a conversation with the York office team. And the crew told us our door couldn't be ordered and we'd have to accept what they had. No way for a job that cost over $20,000!!! So the Corporate contact said yes the door could be ordered, and we would have it within a week. We have another shower to use so that was not an issue. But then the company had the crew drive almost 2 hours to go to Lowes, pick up a shower bar, shower curtain and clips to put in our shower for the week until the door appeared. Low and behold the door we got has the raindrop but it is not a wide door, but one on swivel hinges and extends almost a foot into the shower itself when it opens. Again, not what we were presented when "B. Nick" was selling us the product, not what we saw in his materials, and not what he guaranteed when he looked at our old shower set up that we would have in the new door. Another "bait and switch" contractor, another very disappointing experience. Do we like what we have now..... of course as it is an improvement. Do we love what we have now to give a five star rating to this company? Absolutely not. Beware and check every piece of materials you believe you have ordered before it gets installed. Again, our installer crew was fabulous. But it was not what we ordered, and not what we wanted in the end.
