This salon reminds me of the home salons I used to visit when I was growing up. The stylists are relaxed and seem like they are a closed knit group. First impressions of the place: small, and unorganized, as if it were a college dorm with random furniture and magazine pictures all over the wall. It was rather quaint, and interesting to look at. Although I wish their stations were a little neater (looked very cluttered) I was happy with the results I got with my hair. TJ, the stylist did a great job with the color and the highlights blended naturally with the rest of my hair, also leaving it very shiny and healthy looking. I didn't know what to expect as I bought a Groupon deal. When I drove up and it looked like a series of offices - not very prepossessing. I was a bit worried honestly. I will say that since I have been in Arizona for 10 years now and ALL the salons I've been to including really high-end ones, the owner did THE best of anyone. She cut my hair perfectly, the color was exactly what I was looking for. And she was so easy going. I was and AM really impressed and I'm not easily impressed. Kristen has been doing my hair for about a year.... I was very fine hair and have been coloring for way more years than I want to admit to.... and now my hair is in the best condition it has been in for many years. We do high & low lights and they look so natural which is the look I am going for. Their prices are so very reasonable too.... compared to other fancy salons I have been to in the past!!! Also Kristen listens to what I want but can also keep me up to date with some of newer trends. She just showed me how to style my hair in a completely new style which is very fun for special occasions. Kristen definitively takes the extra time & care to make sure I am completely satisfied and on top of that she's one of the sweetest people I know. I have been coming here to see Jen for over a year and I completely look forward to our appointments and always walk out of the salon feeling satisfied. The entire salon is friendly, helpful, and really know what they're doing. Jen is professional and creates perfect highlights and haircut each time. Lesson learned- don't do groupon haircuts and styles. The highlights were so choppy, and way off for the color I wanted. Haircut was ok, but she came up on a knot in my hair and instead of taking the time to undo it- she cut it off! Now I have a random lock of hair that is a couple inches long, not to mention that she pulled on my hair so much it was painful. I was in tears by the end. Never going back. Spend the extra money elsewhere if you really want a good highlight/dye/balayage. Sorry- they may be nice people, but not good stylists in my opinion. read more

I bought a Groupon for a cut & highlights @ helloGorgeous and thought I would try them out. I had a FABULOUS experience with Nav. Jen (Salon owner) was very accommodating in getting me scheduled and Nav was super flexible when I decided I wanted root touch up instead of highlights. Nav did a great cut and was very consultative (which I needed as I want to start into a new style). Nav was very attentive, personable and knows what she's doing. My root touch up was great. She took her time and ensured I was happy with the entire service. I hadn't expected I'd start being a regular at helloGorgeous (I live 30 miles away), but given that their normal prices (especially for root touch ups) are very reasonable AND Nav did a fantastic job, I will become a regular client. Nav is AWESOME. SO glad I tried them out! Highly recommend. read more

This is specifically about Deeann Kee, the massage therapist that was renting a room at HG. This is one of the few ways I can find to let people know to NEVER purchase anything from her that you are not using same day. We had a written contract for a year long massage package which I prepaid for. She assured me that even if she left the salon she would make reasonable accommodation to meet the terms of our contract. It's now been two months, I have not received any massages, I have not heard from her and cannot get ahold of her. I am out $400. She is very dishonest and cannot be trusted. I now have to go through the hassle of filing a complaint with the state board and deciding about small claims court. I am simply trying to save others this same headache. Consider yourself warned. read more

My hair looks gorgeous thanks to Jen ;) I never go to a salon, in fact my boyfriend cuts my hair with budget scissors. I haven't colored my hair in over a decade. I decided it was time for a cut and color to freshen up my look. I walk in, tell Jen my woes of how inadequate my hair is. With a fun and sweet personality she says, your natural color is great, let's just do a cut with some layers and go from there. When she's done she spins me around in the chair and my reaction was like out of a movie. I couldn't believe my eyes!! I just stepped into 2017 with an updated, moveable, beachy, tousled haircut and style. The idea that she talked me out of spending a $100 bucks on something she felt I didn't need, is pure ethics and a person who just wants the best for her client, is a breath of fresh air. I wish that I could give negative stars based on my experience. I scheduled an appt with Priscilla who's phone number is 480-212-3750. I was coming from Vegas for my cousin's wedding and I needed a makeup session. When the day came, this unprofessional pos makeup artist did a no show on me. I was the maid of honor and I tried calling Priscilla numerous times and texting her and she completely ignored me. I spent all morning calling around town looking for an appt and I ended up having to do my own makeup. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be stood up and have your day ruined by a careless bitch. read more

2 days before a wedding I went in here because I saw it on Groupon. Half my hair was lightened and dyed red months prior so it was light brassy. The top half of my hair was my natural color which was dark brunette. I was terrified that it would be hard to blend a new color in & being a bridesmaid with the wedding so close it was crucial that it look great. I saw CJ and she did an AMAZING job. Very thorough and listened to what I was looking to get. I love the color of my hair! I also saw her & a few other stylists cut hair while I was there and every single cut came out fantastic. I will try to post pictures after the wedding. However, not only is this salon full of talent, the atmosphere & customer service is phenomenal. I was so worried because I had to take my daughter (3 yrs old) with me to the hair appt. First thing that happened when we arrived was CJ told my daughter she got her something. She took my super happy daughter by the hand and presented her with a hello kitty juice. Then she set my daughter up with her personal tablet playing a movie of her choice. I am not saying all kids that go will get a special juice but the point is CJcared so much for her customer that she went out of her way to make everything awesome. She went above and beyond. I love this salon! The stylists are so nice, funny and most importantly helpful and great at what they do. Jen cut and colored my hair. It turned out beautiful.This is the first time I've gone to a salon in about 8 years and the first time I've had my hair professionally colored because I have psoriasis and I'm very self-concious about it. Jen didn't make me feel embarrassed or nervous at all. She's been doing hair for about 12 years so I felt confident in her abilities to take care of my sensitive situation. They also do everything there massage, waxing, etc. and they have events there once in awhile. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome. It's a small salon and a little hard to find. I think the building says "Jentilly Square", if you park anywhere around the building and walk towards the middle, you'll find it. When you go here you'll get exactly what you want at a great price in a great atmosphere. read more
