I received an automated confirmation text two days prior, so I had no reason to believe there was an issue. When I arrived for my appointment, I found the salon permanently closed and the door locked. After some digging, I saw a Facebook post stating the business had closed, but relying solely on a Facebook post is not sufficient when the booking system is still active and sending confirmation texts. As an out-of-town client, there was no way for me to know my appointment was no longer valid. No call, no text, no cancellation notice. This was not a casual appointment -- it was for a wedding -- and the lack of communication forced me to scramble at the last minute. If a business is closing, booked clients should be proactively notified and all booking systems disabled. This situation could have been avoided with basic communication. Thankfully, I was able to find another salon last minute -- Primp and Blow Chandler -- who completely saved the day. Five stars to them for stepping in on short notice and doing an amazing job.

My very first hair cut and color here was really great! i went back a month later for touch up but…read morethe same gal was gone I was put with the owner. She did okay a little different in the color and style but it was ok. I went back every month including a few days ago. I can not imagine what happened or why I got a completely different and very very awful hair cut. This cut literately could have been done by a five year old. I didn't want to insult her because I've been going there nearly 9 months. I paid and even gave her a $25 tip as i normally tip well but I wanted to cry. I ran home and tried to restyle it but you can't put hair back on without using a wig or extensions. One side is way shorter and even with a big chunk of missing hair. The other is long and cut different. The whole style and shape is gone and different. All I was suppose to have was my highlight color/ roots touched up and a trim. We agreed to cut an inch off but not a different cut or one side drastically shorter with chucks of hair missing! I spent a lot of money and time trying to get the style, shape and color i wanted. Now I look in the mirror and cry every day and don't want to be seen. I look ugly. It's Christmas and all i want to do is hide from everyone I have no idea why she cut it like this or if she really just don't have a talent for cutting. Each cut has been off but never so bad as this. I'm only hoping it will grow fast. Based on what's missing and the shape it'll be a few month before i can go have someone try to fix it. I tried to add before and after pics but the site wouldn't post them. But it did post the side view pics. They show enough to speak volumes of what I have to deal with. The reason I'm posting is because you can Get a good job, but then you can get a terrible one that you may have to live with for quite awhile.

Talked majority of the way through the process and did not feel awkward at all, would definitely recommend to others. I'm not sure why there are so many one stars, it's maybe because of the 15 minute no-show policy but to be fair, all they expect is just a phone call if you're going to be 15 minutes or more late on the day of the appointment, if you don't call and you're 15 minutes late, they move on and you lose your $50 deposit. it's a fair rule and it's not difficult to manage at all. 5 stars.
