She's always so kind and caring and communicates and builds a great rapport with me as a customer. She's the best! The food here is so amazing. We were told to choose one sauce to go with our meals. I went with a shrimp bowl and ginger sauce. We sat down and were chit chatting. The cashier brought our sauces and forks. Then we waited and waited and soon it had been over 30 minutes with no food in sight. We decided we couldn't dine in and would be eating hibachi at our desks. I told the cashier to pack our food to go cause we had to get back to the office. She was VERY apologetic and said they had new cooks who were slow. When she brought the food to our table, she again apologized, said she really wanted us to come back, and said Tuesday and Wednesday are their busiest days. She recommended we come on a Monday so we would have more time to dine in. To compensate she gave us a bag filled with at least 20 sauces, multiples of each sauce on the menu. Made it back to work with 5 minutes to spare! I slowly grazed on my food as I worked. Had I been starving, I could have finished the bowl, but I ended up having about 1/4 left, breakfast for tomorrow! The food was really good, on par with any sit down hibachi restaurant. I tried the ginger sauce, teriyaki sauce, and garlic butter, all of them were really tasty. The shrimp bowl on it's own is $23, which I think is too much. But I would definitely go back for the 2 for $25 deal, I think that's worth it. Glad my coworkers brought me here, i'm looking forward to having it for lunch again!

No more ramen in Yorba Linda anymore! I'm shocked and saddened!…read moreMy family been going there since opening, today we went there for dinner and no OPEN sign was on. When I open the door, inside was dark and furniture all stacked inside. Then realized ramen picture posted was not a menu but MOVED sign. Our server wasn't very personable but also not rude or terrible. I felt a little rushed even with a small menu. Being that I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to get so I pretty much just blurted out whatever. What we ordered: 1) Black deluxe chicken paitan with pork - the broth was so tasty, it was absolutely delicious. The pork slices were generous, however, it was DRY. 2) Pork chashu - for my kid. They loved the broth as well and also felt that the pork slices were dry. I wanted to give 4 out of 5 stars, but I am going to hand them a 3. I loved the tasty broth, but the pork was too dry. How could you mess that up as a ramen restaurant? The portions looked a little smaller than what I am used to paying for much less money. That photo of my black deluxe chicken paitan with pork is very deceiving. It looks like a lot, but it definitely wasn't. I usually can't finish my bowl of ramen in one sitting and take the other half home. I barely had any broth in there, and being that the broth was very good, I was disappointed to run out of it before I was even done with the noodles and meat. Would I return? Sure. I liked the food. It's not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but if I was around the neighborhood and wanted ramen, I would dine there again.

My magic number is 4 rolls to get me full. Service is great, Andrew helped us on our last visit. Very attentive and kind. I appreciate that they pay attention to when you finish your current roll before they make your next one. They're fairly quick and timely. There's also a to-go option if you don't want to wait for the bar. Ambience is clean and efficient. They have limited seating so come early if you can. If you come towards the end of the day, you might not get seated. We came at 6:30 the other day and waited about 30 minutes. It was an easy wait since my bf and I got our grocery shopping done, since Hand Roll Factory is inside of Tokyo Central. I can honestly say, i would most likely not return.

Once I tried their sushi for the first time, they quickly became one of my favorites in OC. They fly their fish in every Friday and you can literally taste the freshness. Over the times I've visited, I've tried basically the whole menu but a couple in particular are my favorites. I always start off with the Blue crab appetizer that's wrapped with salmon on the outside and asparagus. Their sushi rolls are all solid here--I can't recommend the signature Chubby roll enough. And if you're feeling adventurous, they even have Tuna bone marrow shots which are actually such a nice palate cleanser! And, of course, the star of the show is the Chubby sashimi platter. Each piece is thiccc and melts in your mouth and even comes with sweet shrimp and uni. This spot is genuinely a 10/10, so if you haven't tried it, like I said, you're definitely missing out! Thanks for reading! ^-^

They also barely give any ice in the drinks (like 8 tiny cubes), and I always have to ask for more. The sushi is very hit or miss, but we did find 3 rolls we really enjoy, so we usually just stick to ordering those. The biggest issue is the service. Every visit we end up having to wave someone down for refills, extra ice, or even the check. There's definitely potential here, but they really need to improve consistency and customer service
