I had a bad experience during my last laser session. I had already done several sessions here…read morebefore with no issues, but this time I had a different technician and the treatment was extremely painful, which was very unusual compared to my previous sessions. After the appointment, the pain continued and I ended up with burns on both underarms. I had to go to urgent care and was diagnosed with partial-thickness burns and prescribed medication. I've always communicated with the clinic by text for appointments or any questions and usually received a response. However, since reaching out about what happened, I've followed up multiple times and haven't received any response or follow-up at all. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, especially considering the seriousness of the situation. I'm currently traveling so I haven't been able to come in person, but I have photos documenting the progression of the burns as well as medical documentation. I'm hoping someone from the clinic can contact me as soon as possible so we can address what happened and find a solution.

I originally went in on July 18 for a Dysport promotion I saw on social media. During my appointment, I was upsold on additional services and spent nearly $1,000. I was reassured that, "with an investment like that, we will make sure you are happy with our service." Based on that reassurance, I felt comfortable spending the money. At my August 1 follow-up appointment, I was seen by Emily, the owner. I specifically told her I could still see movement between my eyebrows, which was one of my main concerns. Emily said she did not see the movement and decided not to add additional Dysport to that area. When the movement continued, I contacted Emily again on August 13 and asked to be seen in person. I was then told I would have to PAY for additional units. This is where I have a serious problem. This was not a new concern. I specifically raised it during their "touch-up window," and Emily chose not to treat the area further. Now I was being asked to pay more to correct the same issue I had already brought to her attention. Emily later stated that their touch-up policy only allows up to 15 additional units--something I do not recall ever being disclosed when I agreed to nearly $1,000 in services. She also referred to the consent form stating that results are not guaranteed. I understand cosmetic treatments cannot guarantee a specific result. My complaint is about how my concern was handled. I raised the issue during the appropriate follow-up period "touch up window" and relied on the owner's professional judgment when she decided not to address it. I do not believe I should then be expected to pay additional money for the same unresolved concern. I made a substantial financial investment based in part on the reassurance that the company would make sure I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, when I raised a legitimate concern within the appropriate follow-up period, I do not feel that the same level of customer care, accountability, or willingness to resolve the issue was demonstrated. I am sharing this experience so that prospective clients can make an informed decision before purchasing services from Amplified Beauty. My experience left me extremely disappointed. I expected Amplified Beauty, and particularly its owner, to address a concern that I clearly raised during the "touch up window" period rather than subsequently requiring me to spend additional money to address the same unresolved issue.

She is incredibly condescending, rude, and dismissive. A visit to the dermatologist shouldn't feel this stressful or unwelcoming. The only positive experience I had at this office was with Dr. Slobodny. If I could only see her, and not deal with the rest of the office staff, I would remain a patient at this practice. So I agreed. - The girls assisting placed a tape over my lashes to cover my eyes. - an inexperience assistant girl started doing the procedure, as soon as she started she stopped to show the doctor something, it felt right away that something was wrong, but they continued, they move to the other eye and were whispering amongst themselves something, they changed the setting before finishing the other other eye and were done with it. - they took the tape off and ripped off some of my lashes on the tape, it was painful and careless. The girls were even giggling while trying to take off the tape. The doctor tried to act like it was normal - the doctor was in contact with me while recovering, he recommended a few things and after all failed recommendation he didn't know what to do so basically returned my money and let me on my way, told me to see a dermatologist. - It's been 7 months and my skin has not healed, I've seen a couple of doctor and under dermatology care still currently. - I've spend so much money and time trying to heal that I had not had the energy to write this review until now. - it's been an awful journey, I don't wish this on anyone. - Don't put your face in the hands of careless and untrained people.
