In reaponse to owners questions- I visited the studio on 7/15. Receipt attached. Between 2-4pm. Please do verify security footage. I even saw you come in and speak to your worker (I assume that was you as she gave you a phone and you were sitting at the table looking at two phones and even went to the back). Please respond to my review confirming that I am a real person, I did indeed visit, and that this did indeed occur. You can speak to your worker- she was the only one there and she wears glasses. Attaching my receipt. Also to respond- there were no disposable aprons. Your worker even rummaged around the drawers on the right hand back wall with the other crafts and told me you must have run out. Go ask her. Regarding the bowls, why on earth would I make this up. If it were as you said, I wouldn't even bother writing this review as a warning to other customers.
We had such a fantastic time at Hello Pottery! My three girls absolutely loved this place. They had a blast making their own cute squishy figurines, and the staff was so incredibly nice and helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommend for a fun family activity!
Came here for a lil Galentines Date and had a lovely time crafting together. There was a bit of disappointment when we came for the mosaic and discovered there was a rather limited selection but we still managed to find some decent selections to adorn. Be warned that the mosaic takes a lot of patience and time! We arrived around 5:30ish and didn't finish until around 8. It's pretty hands off. They show you where to get the materials, give you your glue and the rest of it is basically up to you! I was kind of bummed that they didn't finish it for you either like with the pottery glazing. They send you home with grout and instructions. I did feel for the price, this wasn't a great value.
Had the best time making these cream pieces. It was so satisfying pushing the charms in the cream omg. This location is upstairs area of diamond jamboree. Made a reservation but I don't think I needed to. You get to pick through their various selection of charms and then cream and put them on your item. I'm sad you only get two color cream per item because I think I would've wanted to use more if I could. staff is very friendly. This takes like a week to dry btw we didn't know but you can leave there to dry and pick up later. I was a little sad because I saw so many cute charms in reviews but I didn't see as many but still found cute ones.
We had so much fun painting and hanging out at Hello Pottery! Athena was so kind and helpful as we worked on our projects. We can't wait to return for more art projects!
A great spot to create arts and crafts. There are a variety of products you can put your creativity in and it's so fun. Good time spent with your friends here. They also sell hype stuffs around the store which is so cool. The store locates in a complex full of food and drinks which so convenient to grab bites after.
My daughter and her friends all had so much fun! It's not just a paint pottery, you can glue stuff to jewelry boxes or other trinket items, or make customized phone cases or photo frames. The staff is great and very accommodating. She showed the girls how to use the glue, which is piped and colored so they can just squeeze it like colorful icing. If you do want to paint, there are lots of stuff to choose from and they'll glaze and bake for you to pick up another time.
Fei Fei was amazing and super helpful with coordinating and scheduling our team workshop :) The 2-hour experience was so much fun for our entire team and the Hello Pottery staff onsite was very friendly and attentive throughout the workshop. We can't wait to see how our pieces turn out in a week or so!
Such a fun experience to do with my sisters! Store is adorable and crafty. Staff is responsive, kind, and patient. Lots of options to choose from. Will take my daughter here in the future when she is old enough to craft with me. :) (parking in the plaza is never fun so I recommend coming early to beat the lunch crowd)
Cool concept but was disappointed how pricey and limited some things were. I got a small container which includes a little figure but it didn't match my theme so I didn't get it. This small container was $38 and they also charge a $5 studio fee which was weird because wouldn't it be included in the high price tag of the base already? You get 15 pieces of deco included and each additional gem is an additional $1. There normal cuter cream glue was all gone and only the super bright and transparent glues were available which weren't that cute. Many of the gems on the examples displayed were not available. Studio was interesting and had different activities like pottery, decoden cream glue, drip fluid bear, scented diffuser, and mosaic art. Their website also shows price breakdown as well. Seems you could stay here as long as you want since we were there fore over 3 hours, just make sure to make a reservation incase it's busy.
Located on the second floor of Diamond Jamboree, Hello Pottery is a fun place for craft lovers to work on projects and hang out with friends. You can choose to make pottery from fresh clay, paint pottery, decorate items with charms and whipped cream, and more. I definitely recommend making a reservation here ahead of time since it gets busy, especially on weekends. I chose to decorate an item from them (a photo frame) with charms and whipped cream and it came out very cute! The staff members help explain the process to you and can also teach you how to pipe the fake whipped cream. Overall, a very fun and cute activity that's perfect for birthdays or even just hanging out with friends! Most of the crafts here do take time to dry or be fired so don't expect to be able to use your craft immediately.
Hello Pottery This is a review for my experience at Hello Pottery located in Irvine. We went on a day that was not busy, but it is encouraged to make a reservation on their website. PARKING The location is in a busy shop complex, so if you don't find parking right away, there is a parking structure where you can park for free. There were several openings when I went. STORE The store is located on the 2nd floor. We were greeted by Peter. He was very kind and showed us the neat things we could design. You are able to get 15 charms total from the wall, but there are other beads, glitter, stickers, and tools you can use for free on the table too. I loved the cute Sanrio characters. *There is a ton of charms so have fun treasure hunting and looking through each drawer. You are given a basket while you browse through the selection. *There are also samples you can look at DESIGN PROJECTS You can design so many things there! I chose to do a lanyard to put my work ID in. Some items I saw: pencil case, phone case, hair clips, mirrors, picture frames, and more! DESIGN TABLE -There are a lot of tools available for you to use: scrapers, tweezers, cotton swabs, wipes, tissue -Box of free beads *Once you are ready to start creating you are given two colorful glue tubes to choose from. I liked the way the transparent color looked versus the solid colors. Feel free to practice on a napkin before piping on your charms. TIME We spent about 1 hour and 30 minutes in the shop. It was so relaxing and fun. You are also able to bring in your own beverages to sip on while you are making your project. It does take time to dry, but you can take it home with you if you don't want to pick it up at the shop later in the week. All in all I had a great time! Have fun creating and designing masterpieces made by you for you at Hello Pottery!
Had a wonderful time pottery painting at Hello Pottery. Meixi was especially helpful and attentive, making the experience even better. She gave us drinks when we were thirsty, and even offered to close the windows when I was cold. She is truly the sweetest! Thank you Meixi

I am extremely disappointed with my pottery products from this location. I bought a heart dish and a monster piggy bank. Fortunately, the main issue with the piggy bank was a random paint spot on the arm. I'm assuming it was from close contact with other items being fired too close together in the kiln as the colors that ended up on it were not from the color palettes we used. The heart dish I painted is bubbled and lumpy in some areas and cracked and chipped in others. There is a little black smudge and black specks here and there. The owner did try and fix the chips and cracked paint which I appreciate but overall it just does not look good and I would not recommend their pottery. Photos are from the initial pick up where the paint was egregious and the other photos are from their attempt at fixing it. read more

started off rough, but the girls working were very kind and helpful. They had a huge selection of charms, including Sanrio ones and they were super cute! My boyfriend made a picture frame and I made a phone case. The young ladies were able to help us and guide us with instructions on how the process of designing our products worked. The pastel colors are super cute and the environment was sooo cute. 15 charms for free which is more than enough!!! and 2 free colors!! highly recommend coming here :)) thank you for a great experience!! read more

I've been here twice now, and both times were great. The most recent time was for my sister's birthday, she had such a fun time, she chose to decorate one of the organizers, which was about 60 bucks. It came with a total of 25 mini charms, or 2 small charms and 15 mini ones, or 1 big one with 15 charms. The workers were super helpful with showing her ways to use the piping bag and how to decorate. The A/C could be turned on tho. Will be back in the future. read more

Been wanting to try making a phone case here, and it's definitely a cool experience! My sister and I made an appointment on their website prior to coming, and they definitely make it easy to do so. It wasn't very crowded when we came though, so not sure if it's 100% necessary to book ahead though it can't hurt! The place is clean, cute, and they have a decent amount of options of things you can paint or create on. We opted for the phone cases, and my only gripe about the place is the price. At the time, it was $38 per person, which to be is a little wild. The cases and gems are cute and it was a fun experience to make, but I did not think it was worth this price. The staff here are very helpful and nice though. I'm not the crafty-est person but they offered a lot of guidance and advice. read more

Help Pottery is incredible. Some say it's more fun than Disneyland, and I 100% agree! So far we have complete their pottery painting, cream glue and fluid art. The crafts are absolutely amazing. Our daughters are obsessed with this place. If you like arts and crafting, this is the place to go. The staff is attentive and helpful. 5/5 stars all day long. This is a photo of the Moru doll our daughter picked up. Super cute. Thanks again guys! read more

Did hello pottery for my girls with their bestie. Had so much fun. Looots of charms to choose from to show off their personalities. They may not have very very older phone model cases that fit perfectly. One of our friends had a 7iphone, but it did fit another one from the 11 Pro Max so we were able to do it, but I will call ahead and double check your iPhone case if you want to make that they have your cell phone cover project, but they have lots of ceramics as well to paint , Ans here is note, if you want to do a group of six or more people in a, you have to make a reservation. They told us they won't do 6 or more group walk ins. They only take walk-ins under six people. Great time for the kids picking charm took longer than anything and to dry you have to wait for about seven days to make sure it's completely set but what a wonderful time with friends Parking is outside or you can park in the garage and many great places to eat in the same Center read more

Finally there's a DIY shop in OC that offers cream glue design projects! Seen these all over TikTok but the stores were in Korea however was always interested to do one! Made a reservation for a group 4 on a weekend (highly recommend) and we all decided to do the cream glue designs. Prices vary for what you want to design as well as the availability of items. Definitely ask any of the staff on the floor for inventory! The hardest part was choosing the charms and the color glue you want. The application was super easy too. Def want to go back and do another project! read more

I took my nieces here to make frosting phone cases and they had a lot of fun. There were a ton of charms to choose from and the instructions were a little tricky but the workers were so kind and helped every step of the way. They were happy with how their cases turned out and we spent a solid 2 hours here :) it is quite pricey (about $45 per case) however I think well worth! read more
Saw this place on TikTok lol so my friend and I came. It was a Monday evening and it wasn't busy at all. You get to pick 15 unique charms and there are unlimited small pearls/small charms on the tables. We decided to decorate a small picture frame. You arrange the charms how you want and then learn how to do the piping for the creme. They'll teach you how to do it and then you can practice until you're ready to start on your piece. Overall a great first experience and I would come back! read more
Wonderful spot for a birthday festivities, family or friend hangout, date, whatever! There are a ton of things to do here, like painting, decorating phone cases/mirrors/phone stands, the list goes on. My group decided to decorate phone cases. $38 + 15% automatic gratuity. They were out of a good amount of iPhone sizes. Like more than four sizes. Good thing my friends and I made the cut with our phones lol. Actually I have an iPhone 12 Mini and they only had a 13 Mini case for me, but I decided to go with it anyway. There weren't any Sanrio charms available when we went, which is quite disappointing since a lot of their samples have super cute Sanrio charms :( The charm drawers were a bit barren honestly but we still found things we wanted. Decoden piping selection was a bit messy because they just throw all the bags into a rolling rack and you have to sift through them. They also don't have extras; whatever is there is whatever is left (for the day or what, I don't know). I wanted an extra purple glitter color because my friend chose a bag for herself already, but the employee kept repeating that what they have out is what was left. It was Easter Sunday so it got quite hectic later in the afternoon. Whole place was basically full (~12 parties?) and I can feel the workers getting stressed out. The customer service was fine, they weren't overly mean but they didn't explain anything to us either. Not really sure what the gratuity fee is for since we did everything ourselves hahaha. They also didn't check my reservation nor did they take down our name for when it comes to pick-up in a few days. Just show a pic of the case you decorated. I thought that was kind of amusing LOL. Overall a really fun experience. Hope they restock on charms soon! read more

Found this spot randomly while waiting to be seated at a restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by all the cool stuff you could do. The staff was super helpful explaining all the options from painting to pottery, and designing everything from phone cases to even water bottles. Overall I'm rating this place based on the great experience I had. Compared to other places I did not feel rushed and everyone was so happy to help with any questions and assistance needed, especially Mia who was so nice and friendly! Even when we messed up our cases she was so helpful with trying to fix it for us and making it the best experience. I also like how they offer both resin and glue/cream here for phone cases and chose to do the resin which I really liked. Some drawbacks might be the limit of charms for phone cases, compared to other places, however I feel that didn't limit my experience at all and was fine with 20 charms. I liked the charms better here compared to other places, they have Kuromi charms!! Overall had a great time with the relaxed and helpful vibe as well as people. Will definitely be back to do more projects! read more

Buckle up yall, because it's gonna be a long one! Such a cute place for dates, activities with friends, or even a solo date with yourself! Don't be fooled! It's not just pottery!! You can also do glue diy, make candles, flower arrangements, clothes, stained glass projects and even more! INFO: The location is located upstairs between the beauty place and the dentist office. They don't have a sign yet. They do accept walk-ins but I would call and double check if they're opened before you come around opening! You can either call, text or dm on Instagram to get a hold of the owner. I would also encourage making an appointment even if you're doing a solo crafting day like I did. Rather than booking on yelp, I would go to their Instagram page @hellopotteryirvine. The page will have a link to their website where you can get more information & book! You can either book the exact thing you want to do or they even have an option where you can book and see what you want to do when you get there. Experience: The owner was super super nice and welcoming when I came in! I wasn't sure what I was going to do when I walked in and she gave me the menu of all the things you could do. If you don't know me, let me just understate that I''m super indecisive. She was soo patient with me and answered all my questions! I went with the mirror glue diy ($48). There are other projects to make and glue and each will come with a dif number of charms. The mirror comes with 30 charms & has multiple shapes to choose from (heart, bear, abstract). Once I chose my mirror shape, the owner let me be to choose my charms! I think I spent a good 15 minutes deciding because there were so many! There are also blind boxes to purchase to add to your project. They're about $18 each. If you don't like what you get, she does have a little display box of blind boxes that were opened prior and you can trade the one you got for anything in the case. I liked my pompompurin so I kept it! After I wrestled over what charms to get, I was be able to pick the colors for my piping glue. After that the owner then have some advice on how to tackle the project! I was left alone to create my masterpiece (if I say so myself) once she was done with the explanation. Payment is at the end! Depending on your project it may take a couple hours before it fully hardens. If you did a small project you could probably grab a bit to eat and then come back. Since I did the mirror, I opted to come back another day. She instructed me to take a final picture of my project and told me when I cam to pick it up, I could just show anyone working the picture to pick it up. Are yall still with me? Congratulations! Now go make a project at hello pottery! I promise it'll be much more fun than reading this review! read more
