And my lord, I could not be happier with what she did! Somehow, Shandra took the random collection of thoughts in my head and put exactly what I was imagining onto my head. She understood what I wanted better than I could even explain it. She was incredibly gentle, sweet, and easy to trust, and I seriously cannot compliment her talent and skill enough. I've been here a few times back during my high school years but hadn't returned in a long time. Coming back was absolutely the right decision. I walked in with basically, "Here's everything I hate, please fix me" and walked out LOVING my hair. I will absolutely be scheduling with Shandra again. If you're someone who doesn't quite know how to explain what you want but knows how you want to feel about your hair when you leave, go see her. She gets it. 5 stars no doubt. And no this isn't some paid review or make up review, I've read the negative ones and I was absolutely aware of the things said before I came in, however I love that I can be the proof and word that anything negative is just simply not true, and that there's two sides to every story and this side was absolutely wonderful.

I have not gotten a haircut in 3 months given this covid19 environment, so once the stay home mandate was lifted, I scheduled right away. Being a super clean freak myself, you can rest assured with peace of mind that Lindsay has taken all the safety precautions by wearing a mask herself, sanitization practices and asking you to wear a mask too as looking out for everyone's safe health which is her wonderful customers and herself too. One thing I sincerely appreciate about her is given my busy schedule from work to literally working out is that she is flexible on scheduling so there is the cool fantastic customer service personalization that you get with her versus say those chain haircut places. They don't have much of an online presence so it was a surprising find. A friend referred me to Kendal Florence, and I had an excellent experience. I put off getting my hair cut for 6 months after moving to Texas because I was so nervous about finding a new stylist to deal with my thick, coarse, curly & very unruly hair. I've had a number of bad experiences over the years & a good stylist is worth their weight in gold. Kendal is very friendly, professional, & immediately put her hands in my hair & was very positive about the fact that she was excited to cut it. I've been on the receiving end of stylists who looked nervous or horrified once they see how much hair I have, but I didn't feel that AT ALL from her. I have very curly hair and it's impossible to explain what cut I want unless once my hair is wet. I appreciated that Kendal took the time to sit me down in the chair and discuss what I wanted BEFORE shampooing my hair. She was very gentle with my wet hair & untangled it carefully-no ripping, yanking, etc. I really appreciated that especially since I am so gentle with it myself as I don't want to damage it. She worked quickly but did a thorough job. While she was working she seemed so completely in her element, not nervous & fidgety. I usually feel terrified with each chunk of hair that falls but not this time. I got a keratin treatment and a major haircut. My hair went from primarily one length, ultra long (3 inches past my bra strap) to a medium-length angled bob with the front being dramatically longer than the back. It looks EXACTLY like the pictures I showed her and I felt she really listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! I feel the cut is so flattering & fabulous. Also, this might seem like a given to people with "normal" hair but she did a great blow-out! I have been left damp many times over the years. I really appreciated the time she spent and her attention to detail. I am so happy to have found her! Another great thing is that you can actually book appointments via text. :)
