All the stylists are talented but Emily is by far my favorite! I have gone to her for a few years now and she's incredible. Her color is top notch and she's a perfectionist so her cut and color are always consistent. I have never had any issues or not liked my hair. In fact, we are on the level now where I just ask her what we are doing with my hair ha. She's always up to date on current trends and is more of an artist than anything. I never have any issues with scheduling and she's so good about communication. Highly recommend this salon and Emily especially. Although I havnt gotten my hair done by the other stylist I do see their customers and everyone does a great job. You can't go wrong here!! Both my kids see her as well.

I wanted to add to my review from a few months ago. I just want to say that Morgan and Hailey Marie both went out of their ways to make sure my hair was perfect for my wedding day, which was only 3 days away. There was some slight miscommunication about my appointment but they fixed it and made room for me. They didn't rush through getting my hair done, they made sure it was perfect. And it really was, the color matched my extensions that I was going to wear for the wedding. I wish my wedding vendors had as much class and work ethic as these ladies did. I didn't get a lot of pictures at the wedding because the photographer left without saying a word to anyone right before the wedding was about to start.. but I did get a couple. Anyways, thank you ladies for making that one thing I didn't have to stress over.

I basically just threw out everything I didn't like about my hair, explained what I wanted to be easier to deal with, and told her I didn't mind having to style it, but if it could look good without styling, that would be a huge plus. And my lord, I could not be happier with what she did! Somehow, Shandra took the random collection of thoughts in my head and put exactly what I was imagining onto my head. She understood what I wanted better than I could even explain it. She was incredibly gentle, sweet, and easy to trust, and I seriously cannot compliment her talent and skill enough. I've been here a few times back during my high school years but hadn't returned in a long time. Coming back was absolutely the right decision. I walked in with basically, "Here's everything I hate, please fix me" and walked out LOVING my hair. I will absolutely be scheduling with Shandra again. If you're someone who doesn't quite know how to explain what you want but knows how you want to feel about your hair when you leave, go see her. She gets it. 5 stars no doubt. And no this isn't some paid review or make up review, I've read the negative ones and I was absolutely aware of the things said before I came in, however I love that I can be the proof and word that anything negative is just simply not true, and that there's two sides to every story and this side was absolutely wonderful.

Hailey is still learning to speak up about what exactly she wants, so that's why I hovered around for a bit, I'm sure annoyingly. We are just so lucky to have a hair salon like this so close so Hailey can get the exact haircut she is wanting. I did want to apologize again for scheduling her haircut under short. Bad experience and would not go back. Here is why…read more I had scheduled a time/day to get my hair cut. The stylist took 6 hours (no exaggeration) to do my hair. It got to the point where it was 10:00 p.m. and I just had to leave. I couldn't take it any more. She didn't even finish my hair all the way and she made me very uncomfortable. It wasn't until the next day that I realized just how bad my hair really was. My roots were not even touched and my hair was very uneven. To say that this was the worst haircut/dye that I have ever received, is an understatement. So naturally, I decided to go back to the salon and just ask them to fix it. I didn't make a big deal about it at all and I would have been fine just getting it fixed. Upon entering the salon the following day, I spoke with Jeff and explained my situation and how I requested to have my hair fixed. Jeff then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for another appointment...I politely explained the situation again and requested that my roots just be touched up and my uneven hair trimmed. Jeff stated he would have to speak to his supervisor (maybe, the owner?), Melissa and I would be contacted. Was I contacted? Nope. In fact multiple times I had to follow up and send multiple pictures to finally get another appointment scheduled. Luckily, when I came in and got my hair fixed, a new stylist fixed my hair and I was pleasantly relieved. It should be reiterated that no one including the supervisor, Melissa, the owner, or anyone ever contacted me to apologize including when I came back in person to get my hair fixed. In addition, I should also point out that whenever a stylist leaves the salon, the company sends out emails, and at times will explain why the stylist left. For one particular stylist, the email stated, "XXXX has left Willow Sage Salon on unfortunate terms. Her conduct has not been in line with our values, and we cannot continue working with her." In my opinion, this is unprofessional and these type of things should be kept in house. There is no need to air dirty laundry out to the public. By doing this, it doesn't reflect positively on the business and raises questions about the company and business practices. To summarize, all of this could have been easily avoided and I wouldn't have posted a review if better customer service would have been implemented. The owner or supervisor-anyone should have contacted me, apologized and resolved the problem immediately by booking another appointment. I shouldn't have had to continue to follow up multiple times etc. I will never go back. Do not recommend.
