Over the summer, my hair was professionally, yet grossly, over processed. Now, I have collected more hair in a bag than I have left on my head. My hair and my heart have suffered. Lina took her time, said extensions weren't for me right now due to my level of damage, and opted for a cut instead. When I got there, I was a little hesitant because the place was a little dated, but I took a chance anyway because the reviews were good. I was greeted immediately and seen promptly, mind you I was an hour late, and they were still gracious enough to see me. My stylist was Alexandria, she listened to what I wanted, was patient and professional. You should always leave the salon feeling confident and like a new you, and that's exactly what she delivered! I have a child that refuses to take care of his hair (literally, in the past month used about as much shampoo and should have in 2 days, since he claims to "forget" to use shampoo, despite being 14)... So, the solution we do, is get his head shaved at about a 2 (not a 1 or completely shaved) and warm him about it that if he doesn't wash his hair properly, we'll have it shaved again. Usually there is no issue, especially when I explain why, and they usually have a talk with him about taking care of his hair, etc. But the lady today tried to argue with me and wanted to use a 2 on the sides and a 6 on top, despite me saying what we needed done Then when he was in the chair, she tried to convince him to let her use a 6, as well, but he just said "just use a 2". Then she asked him if he wanted a shampoo... Not the parent that's paying for it (I might have said "yes" but didn't get asked), which added a couple of dollars to the total. Before he started refusing to wash it properly, I would even tell him it's his call since it's his hair, what he wanted, when he was very young, and only changed that because got tired of his hair always being knotted up and overall looking homeless

I rearrange my schedule and saved this appointment as a priority. Today I met at the 15 minutes prior to my appointed and was told it was given to someone else in error. The color and cut were also off, which made it even more noticeable. Abigail took one look and completely transformed them! She redid my entire install and gave me a new cut, and they already look SO much better!! She didn't have time to color them (which was my fault for booking the wrong service lol), but she was able to schedule me in just a couple days! She was also so so sweet and so welcoming! I'm so excited to see the full transformation and so happy to have found a good new hair stylist
