I recalled an O'Reilly store had opened up just up the street so I figured I'd have a look and see if they carried bolts. I walk into the store and I am the single customer. Two people behind the counter; a young lade and man. No greeting, no "can I help you"... they were interested in nothing except chatting to each other. I located the small selection of bolts in the store after a few minutes and I asked the young man if he had a thread gauge for the bolt. He responded with "no" and offered no assistance. I said "well then", set the bolts on the counter and walked out. I definitely wont go back anytime soon, if ever.

I came in and spoke with Dennis about the situation and he saw that there was a discrepancy that the other location made. Needless to say Dennis was quite helpful and knowledgeable about the procedures that Autozone has in place. He came out to take a look at my car and was able to fix the issue quickly and got me back on the road in no time. I'm HUGE on customer service and Dennis definitely went well above and beyond to assist me and my older car. According to Amazon, there wasn't any appointment available right away, so I didn't schedule it thru Amazon; however, after I got my tires I called them to check availability, and the guy told me he could do it that day. Awesome. They also recommended a wheel alignment for another $100. Skeptical of the upcharges, I said the uneven wear was probably due to my very aggressive cornering. They said they could check the alignment first to really see if I needed adjustment, so I said "Sure, why not?" As expected they said it was out of alignment and told me the numbers. I couldn't recall the last time I had an alignment, but it was probably due for one anyway. I get my car back and it drives nice and smooth. After a couple of days I fill up the gas and check my tire pressures only to find out that the pressures are all different in each tire, as much as 7 PSI. Makes me question their quality control with everything else like tire balancing, wheel alignment, and lugnut torque. It rides smooth so I think I'm okay and the mechanics were pretty cordial, so yeah...not bad.

What was originally estimated to take 1-2 months ended up taking nearly 2.5 years, with a final bill of approximately $38,000. Communication was poor, deadlines were repeatedly missed, and after finally getting my car back, I discovered several concerning issues, including disconnected knock sensors, missing oil and fuel pressure monitoring, and a transmission mount secured with only two bolts. There were also several smaller quality issues that added to my frustration. For the amount of money spent and the time they had the vehicle, I expected much better. I called, Kim answered - after making the appointment- I told my friend - if Kim is any indication of the service I'm going to receive- I'm golden. She was professional, understanding of my plight (going dry camping without a generator- in 95 degree weather - not fun) and assured me - Cummins would make things right!!! When I arrived - I met Chris - also very welcoming - gathered all my info - (paperwork from the dealership) - and within 15 minutes the coach was pulled in to the bay. I wasn't in a hurry, I've learned with RVs - be prepared to wait - I was. Had my laptop with me - a friend and I went out lunch - came back - she was out of the bay. The tech came out and walked me through the issues - gave me guidance on how to maintenance and take care of this most important piece of my coach. I was amazed. Kim (we hugged at the end) printed of a log for me to track when maintenance is done. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with this place. AND I have made a new friend (Kim).
