We reached out to B&C Diesel to do a completed health check on our son's diesel truck. During the health check, they stated that it needed a PCM. That process took about one month. After $700, we drove the truck home where it worked for "ONE" day. Disappointed, we reach back out to B&C Diesel to learn that they believed it was the PCM fixed and to get the truck back in for a fix. We towed the truck back to their shop, to have this PCM fixed. After another two weeks time, they called to advise that the truck was ready to be picked up. Upon arrival, and much to my dismay, B&C Diesel stated there was a new charge of $400 to complete another health check (apparently B&C Diesel received an "F" on the first one), and demanded the $400 for "Shop Supplies" at $33.59, Hazardous Material Fees at $27.29, and Labor at $419.89 for a total of $480.77. The second trip has a notation on the invoice, "approved on 11/28/22 at 9:46 am". No work was approved. Their poor quality service, ineffective health check and deceitful behavior should be called out.

Only now that the current owner has stablized things, I'm pleased to leave a five-star review. Frankly before the current ownership, the service had been inconsistent and I went there mostly for the proximty to our home. But once owner Peter and service manager Shawn took over 4-5 years ago, things changed dramatically for the better. For one, service manager Shawn is a car guy himself, not somebody who was selling shoes last year and bagging groceries the year before. Not being a car guy myself, I've appreciated how he's been able to put complicated problems into layman's terms that I can understand. We own three Dodge Caravans. And anybody who owns an older model of these knows how much TLC they need to perform at peak. I have never felt pushed into an unnecessary repair. On the contrary, most of their suggestions take the form of, "While it's not imperaitve right now, something you might want to keep an eye on is X. If the van starts doing Y, you might want to consider Z." I remember a conversation I had with Shawn shortly after Peter bought the place. He said, "The very first question Peter asked me was what equipment I needed to make this a state-of-the-art facility. I've never had an owner ask me that before," he related. And finally I wanted to address a previous poster who left two one-star reviews. I was perplexed because my experince with Sterling Automotive was so starkly different than his. But then I looked at his reviews of other establishments and saw that this shop is in good company, as that individual apparently doesn't like anybody.

I was in and out in under an hour. The staff is helpful and polite and you can tell they take pride in their work. Only "downside" is that it's first come, first serve, and parking lot area can get a little crowded, so if that's something that would bother you Karen, I recommend another place.

I took my 2019 Hyundai Tucson 4.0 L to 95 Auto Service on 08/30/2026, because my mechanic of 30…read moreyears gave up on trying to fix my 2019 Hyundai Tucson. I found 95 Auto Service through my auto warranty. (Of course, my warranty didn't cover these repairs). It's crazy that my former mechanic of 30 years had replaced the manifold catalytic converter twice - 07/2024 and 05/2025. Of course, the engine light came back on 05/2026. I keep a diagnostic device in my car when I get warnings on my car. Of course, my readings were always P0420. Ephrem with 95 Auto told me that he had the same P0420 reading and said that the car needed another catalytic converter. That makes this the THIRD manifold catalytic converter replacement. Please note that I did a Google search about this issue, and I found that Hyundai Tucson's have issues with their manifold catalytic converters. In any case, after FOUR manifold catalytic converter replacements (yes, I said 4), 95 Auto Service was able to find the root cause as to why I was burning through these converters. Unfortunately, the root cause does not provide a diagnostic code. So, the team at 95 Auto had to go through EVERY component to locate the problem. Happy to say that 95 Auto solved the problem . . . for now - HEYYYY, it's a Hyundai! lol Needless to say, I have reported this to Hyundai Corp. Now I have to get the roof panel repainted but at least Hyundai will cover this.
