The motor fully went out and they were able to order the part quickly and install it quickly. Fast forward to now, the dryer stopped blowing hot air. It took about 3 business days to air dry a load of clothes. HVAC & Appliance Repair Guys were able to offer same day service, we ended up choosing two days later just bc of our own chaotic schedule. However we appreciate their ability to come out same day. After an embarrassing moment of cleaning our dusty laundry room which has become our *what the heck* room of things that don't belong in other rooms. Max diagnosed the issue quickly and replaced the part. Our heating element spring called it quits on us. He was in and out within 30-40 minutes. It's refreshing to have such quick service. Also, while communicating right here on Yelp messages, their replies were prompt. Always within an hour at the longest. Strongly recommend. After the second call I received a text message from them asking to make an appointment that way. That should have been my first red flag but I went ahead and scheduled the appointment anyway. Fast forward 2 weeks to the day of the appointment. Nick shows up only prepared to service the heat pump. When I informed him I had scheduled a duct cleaning as well he initially told me the duct cleaning wasn't on his work order then a few minutes later his story changed to our duct cleaning machine is broken. Because I wanted both done he said it would be better to reschedule so both could be done at the same time, which I agreed to. This was 3 pm on a friday so he said someone would get a hold of me early next week to reschedule which was fine with me. Sunday afternoon I received an automated text message from them indicating they had rescheduled the appointment for 8am on a random Wednesday. To be clear no one ever called me to reschedule the appointment they just scheduled it without talking to me to see if that day and time worked for me. As my wife and I both work nights it did not work for me. So since they seem to have a problem with communication and they like to waste their customers time I decided to return the favor and let them show up at 8 am on a random Wednesday and waste their time as well because the wife and I were staring at the inside of our eyelids and didn't answer the door. However, their flat rate pricing resulted in my wife and me paying $790.42 for an hour's worth of actual plumbing work for what turned out to be two simple tasks--removing and installing a new faucet in the kitchen sink and draining our hot water heater. Roth Home's initial price for the faucet repair was $878.24. They also drained the hot water heater while they were here. We did not ask questions about what was involved and how long it would take (our mistake). When we questioned the charges after the work was done, we were given a 10% senior discount. Later they said we weren't charged the usual fee of $336 to drain the hot water heater. According to them, we were "only" charged $790.42 and received a "savings" of $423.82. Our recommendation is to ask questions and proceed with caution. Document what you are told (and by whom) and how long any work takes.

They found the perfect unit, a Mitsubishi Hyper heat ducted heat pump that would provide air to all the upstairs rooms, and work in very low temperatures. Their price was excellent. Scheduling was no problem, and they came out and did a very good job, the cleanest of any contractor we've had. They also did an excellent job of explaining to me about the different electronic/ Wi-Fi thermostats available, and why a nest unit, which was my first preference, wouldn't work. Overall a real joy to work with and we would absolutely use them again when we need our main furnace replaced.
