Something that was a little off putting for me about this place was that all of the sauces came packaged as if the order was to go? For example the marinara sauce was in a marinara container, the sour cream came in a plastic tube, like they didn't even try to disguise that they made the sauces themselves, which I appreciate the transparency but if I'm dining in I would like the dine-in experience with sauces out of its original packaging. For my main course, I got the brisket. I like that they ask if you want a fattier, leaner, or normal cut. I asked for the normal cut. I was nervous about getting the brisket cause I had read reviews that it was dry and dry brisket is the bane of my existence but I thought it was perfect! It was delicious and instantly fell apart when I touched it. The steak sauce added great flavor, I'm glad they didn't add any additional salt to the brisket otherwise it definitely would've been too salty. I got mashed potatoes and green beans as the side. The green beans were what you'd expect, nothing special. The mashed potatoes were also pretty average. Definitely needed more salt and more gravy and wasn't as creamy as I would've liked. But I added some butter and the steak sauce and it was perfect! The Texas toast that came with it was also very good. Overall pretty good bbq place I'd say! So I went back up to the cashier and ran my card again. However, there was a mix-up and I had been confused with another customer. Long story short, I was charged TWICE for my meal because of a screw-up. The manager on duty told me I would be refunded within a few business days (he never apologized for the mix-up or the inconvenience). I've called twice in the last two weeks, and I have still not been refunded. They sent me a refund receipt at one point, but they apparently refunded the wrong card. I've always enjoyed the food here, but the management is just awful. They made a mistake, took over $35 from me, did not apologize, and did not follow-through as promised. I can't believe I had to keep calling and tracking this down. It's baffling to me that you can run a business with this kind of service. I'm sorry, but you've lost a loyal customer.
