it really amazes me how these people are writing bad reviews. i've been using this company for over 20 years and i have always been happy. at first i had a old boiler and it kept breaking down and they told me i need a new boiler but i did not want to spend the money so the company kept explaining to me that its going to keep breaking down even after they fix it and in the long run i will spend more money plus a old boiler burns twice as much gas. of course i did not want to listen and after $2,500 in 3 separate repairs it made sense to get a new boiler. through my own experience i never knew the proper way to maintain a boiler and of course i shortened the life of my boiler buy 15 years. the only thing i can come up with why these people are not happy is that they dont want to spend the money to do the right thing on their heating system. my logic is that how is this company in business for 35 plus years if they were not doing the right thing. i am very happy and so are all my friends and family. they even give me a discount because i recommend this company to everyone i know. sincerely, dr. amit schwartz read more

Then I started using HeatSpan and after they educated me on my boiler that's 30 plus years old it made sense to change my heating unit and make everything new so I can be safe and be up to date with good equipment. Yes I had to spend good money to make everything new but now I feel safe and I'm on their parts protection plan where they fix everything for free. It really puzzles me why other companies for the last 25 to 30 plus years didn't say anything or try to educate me on my heating equipment. This company has changed my friends and families equipment all to new modern stuff and I'm really happy there is a company that cares. read more

Absolutely Avoid - This is a predatory company. I was unable to be present when they arrived to conduct a routine cleaning of my mothers gas boiler. To make a long story short - Heatspan had convinced my mother that her boiler and hot water heater could no longer work (All Lies). To make matters worse, this ruthless company told my mother, that she needed to spend $12,000 to replace the units. Wait there's more, the Heatspan field supervisor tried to get my mother to pay cash (which this field supervisor stated would be non-refundable). Fortunately, my mother's bank refused to release the cash and I was later able to intervene to stop their additional telephone harassments. I am contacting the State Attorney Generals Office and hopefully he will shut down this insidious company. read more

I had a plumbing and boiler problem , I had no heat in the middle of winter, I called 2 boiler repair companies and both companies sent out workers that were inexperienced and could not fix the problem , I then got in touch wit heatspan and within an hour Louie , the owner showed up and within 10 minutes he trouble shot the problem , he then had a worker show up with the parts and repaired my boiler within 2 hours , Heatspan is now my new go to company , if they didn't repair my boiler that day ,my pipes would of froze up and cracked. I was experiencing no heat on the third floor of my house . I called Heatspan. The girls that are answering their phones was very nice, they gave me an in-between time that the technician would show up. When the technician arrived he went downstairs into the boiler room, diagnosed the problem and explained to me I needed a water regulating valve. Which I knew nothing about. It was a learning experience. He replaced it right in front of me and my boiler was up and running perfectly. thank you Heatspan, I would recommend you guys to anybody. read more

I waited over a year to write this review. I'm very pleased with my parts protection plan with HeatSpan. every time I needed them for my boiler/hot water tank they never made me wait and never told me a part was not covered. when I had Home Serve I always had to wait a week or more and it always seemed I had to pay Home Serve because a part wasn't covered. I'm very pleased with HeatSpan I never knew I had a choice in a protection plan. read more

They put a new furnace in my place 9 yrs ago and it's been great since... some people have bad experiences and some people don't... I have no problem with them and they also lent me a portable heater to keep my children warm while they were fixing it.. You don't see people do that often.. read more
