The chimney in my 115-year-old brick rowhouse had a badly deteriorated terra cotta lining. The remainder needed to be demolished and then a steel liner inserted in its place. Not an easy job. Michael gave me a fair price, was punctual, and while spending more time than he expected, stuck to the original price. Kudos to Michael for getting a tricky job done. I'm very happy with the result. He also suggested putting a turbine cap on the chimney top, creating updraft and preventing wind coming in -- excellent suggestion which I did and you can see in the picture. There was an extra charge for debris removal, and somehow an additional bag of heavy debris was left in my residential garbage; he came back and got that. They didn't cover our furniture or clothes, letting soot leak throughout our home, they left our carpets dirty and wanted to charge us extra to haul the debris away (though they never mentioned this in their quote).
