Since I work from home I was in a total panic when my desktop decided it no longer would boot windows. I am tech support for a local communications company and not a total idiot when it comes to computers. Nothing I tried worked so I called Heartland Computers. I was pleasantly surprised with the response time, Roger came over that afternoon but had to take my desk top in to the shop. We upgraded to a solid state hard drive and he did a complete back up of my C drive and reloaded windows. 2 days later he brought the computer back and hooked everything up. I thought I was good to go. The next day I loaded the Citrix receiver I needed to get into my virtual desk top for work. Citrix loaded fine but I got an error every time I tried to open any virtual desk top or any of the apps. I called my corporate IT dept and they reloaded Citrix and did a few other things. They determined the issue was something with my reloaded desk top as my lap top still connected fine. I sent Roger a text message that morning. I contacted Roger at Heartland Computers about upgrading my computer, he came and installed me a reconditioned tower and downloaded all my information from the old one. I found him to be very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why and showed me how to operate the new system. Computer was repaired above and beyond expected. Roger fixed a few things, free of charge, which initially caused our issue. Though there was a disconnect in communication on pick up, Roger and his wife drove out after hours to meet us. My computer was running poorly but I found Heartland Computer and with great cooperation my problems were quickly fixed. The charges were very reasonable. Some follow up was needed a week later on an unrelated issue and it was also taken care of completely.
