For 7 months I have been dealing with a technical problem with my carrier that was blocking me from purchasing a much-needed new phone. Yesterday I was at my wits end & ready to change carriers, which I did not want to do, being with my current carrier for over 30 years! I was ready to give up and on the verge of tears when I tried contacting Apple one more time. Missy practically begged me to come back to the store and let her give it a shot, which I figured was worth a try. After 2 1/2 more hours of working with my carrier, Missy, Mackenzie, and Taylor we able to help me walk out of the store with a new working phone! I have never had a bad experience with the service reps at the Apple store. They are persistent in their efforts to make it a positive experience, but the way Missy stepped up was unbelievable! Mackenzie did a lot of the phone work with my carrier, and Taylor sealed the deal by coaching me with the transfer from one from phone to the next. What a team!!

My phone had been having storage issues with system data taking over about half of the storage due to an updating issue. I was nervous that the appointment was going to take forever and the fact I had my toddler with me added to my anxiety about the situation. Upon walking in, I was immediately met by a friendly individual who took my name and set up an appointment. They directed me to the wall of games that my toddler was more than pleased to be able to utilize. Ralph was helping me out with my phone and I really appreciated how kind and knowledgeable he was. He walked me through everything and assured me that we would get my phone back to being usable! While my phone was updating, he mentioned that they were starting a class instructing people how to use the Apple pen alongside the iPad and some apps they use with it. He thought it would be fun for my daughter to join while we waited for my phone to update. Cue Davion! Perhaps one of the friendliest people I've met in a long time?! He was running the class and was so kind in helping my child hold the pen and showing her how to draw on the lended iPad. She had such a fun time following along with him on the screen and doing a little bit of her own thing as well! After a bit, my phone was fixed and fully back (Thanks, Ralph)! It's funny how an experience I was completely dreading ended up being the highlight of my day!

    Recently, we purchased a new desktop computer and a printer from Best Buy. The printer is a HP…read moreSmart Tank 5100 series. The associate provided us with several incorrect details during the purchase process. We were instructed to download the Hp.123.com application for the printer, which charges an annual fee of $59.99. The printer was priced at less than $200. The software indicates that an Instant Ink subscription is available; however, after setting up the printer, this subscription was not accessible for the 5100 series. Contrary to the associate's assurance, the printer does not print in draft mode or grayscale. We are incurring significant costs for ink at regular prices, and it is not possible to purchase only black ink; all colors are required. This situation appears to be deceptive. Relying on staff for accurate information is unacceptable when they provide false details. Additionally, we purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription for $179.00, for which a key code was provided on a printed receipt. I inquired whether Geek Squad could assist with the installation on our computer, with a quoted fee of $40.00. Since the computer was purchased at the same location, we were advised to install the software ourselves at home, with the option to return the computer if issues arose. Our total expenditure for these goods and services amounted to $1,615.54. RUN FROM BEST BUY!!!!!!!

Either way I'm here to post a 1 star review because they have no idea what they're doing. Their lowest price is $1300 and their website claims you need to shell out nearly $2k just to achieve 60fps in Cyberpunk 2077, a feat a $600 computer can accomplish. Upon further inspection, their intel CPUs come standard on the problematic B660 chipset that is unable to deliver power properly to the CPU. There's not a Radeon or Arc GPU option in sight. They're charging $120 for Windows. The only good sight on their website is their choice of case, but even that is messed up because they're charging for the fans THAT COME BUILT INTO the case that they order.

The store is…read morebeautiful, and there are many computers that you can interact with to decide what options you want, and how those options will perform before you lay down big bucks on your system. Matt and Dustin were in the store and very knowledgable and friendly. They mentioned a lifetime warranty on all systems too. That's good peace of mind. Great to know if something goes wrong with my computer, I can just take it up the street and have the guys look into any problems. When I'm ready to buy my new system, Extreme PCs will definitely be on my radar.
