I disappointingly made the mistake purchasing a plethora of an off-brand Samsung H2O filters from Amazon. Aside, I had the Samsung French Door Refrigerator serviced in August 2024: The Samsung Service Tech bluntly stated the off-brand Samsung H2O filters doesn't efficiently filter the H2O whereas, the Home Depot Appliance Dude stated Samsung's Service Tech's Samsung H2O filters recommendations are just mere fabrications of a fabricated POV in order, racking up making more dough off me! Hey~I'm not a clueless fool, ya know--I'm not buying their money-scheming ploys . . . Ya get my drift--you know what I mean, eh? Anyway, I seriously can't differentiate between the quality and performance between the OEM Samsung H2O filters verses the off-brand Samsung H2O refrigerator filters. To my utter surprise, the Appliance Dude informed me Home Depot sells TWO Samsung H2O filters in a package for $59.00 verses OEM Samsung H2O filters sells only ONE in a package for $49.00. Therefore, I opted purchasing Home Depot's TWO Samsung H2O filters in a package for $59.00, i.e., obtaining a bargain price bang for my hard-earned moola is undoubtedly ingrained within my DNA and RNA Coding~lol. Moreover, I bought more drain cleaner for my sinks and some fire starters for camping--that's all I bought which the total out the door was egregiously expensive nonetheless!

When we moved to Placerville in January, we inherited an old Sub Zero refrigerator in our new…read more(actually very old) home. Long story short, the unit had problems. We had 2 factory authorized and 1 independent appliance repair companies make service calls. All of them proposed exorbitant repair estimates up to $3300!!! But I had no confidence any of them had actually properly diagnosed the problem. I'm an engineer, pretty technical -- and their explanations and justifications just didn't seem right to me. So, I kept on looking for an appliance repair person that was trustworthy, knowledgeable, and willing to share his knowledge and insights with me. And I found one in Peter at Absolute Zero. He called me back within 30 minutes of my first phone call. He listened as I described the symptoms and the recommended remedies. He offered his own opinions and advice and suggested some actions I should take. I followed his advice and some additional suggestions he made in two subsequent phone calls. That along with downloading and reading the Sub Zero Technical and Service Manual allowed me to find and fix the problem. It was not even remotely related to any of the very expensive repairs recommended by the other service techs. It was just a faulty connector that was failing to supply power to the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment. The lack of air flow caused the evaporator to completely freeze over, causing the freezer temperature sensor to fail. It took a day to defrost the unit and another 4-6 hours to disassemble/reassemble the freezer compartment (with many breaks to refer to the service manual) to find and fix the problem. But, the total cost of the repair $0!!! There was no way I would have been able to tackle diagnosing and repairing the refrigerator myself without Peter's advice. The things he said were practical, they made sense and it was clear he wasn't trying to sell me anything. He was happy to share what he knew. He treated me like a friend he was trying to help, not like a customer from whom he was trying to score a big payday. He saved me a multi-thousand $ repair bill. My refrigerator is now operating perfectly. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Every corner is thoughtfully curated -- beautiful home décor, unique gifts, garden pieces, jewelry, and those unexpected treasures you didn't know you needed until you saw them. Whether you're looking for a special gift or something to make your home feel more you, this place delivers every time. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, never pushy, and genuinely happy to help or just chat. It's one of those rare boutiques that feels both elevated and approachable. If you're anywhere near El Dorado, this shop is absolutely worth the visit. I always leave inspired -- and usually with more than I planned to buy (zero regrets). Highly recommend.
