Daniel and his young son (another future electrician) showed up and performed a full panel replacement so my electrical circuit panel box can now pass City code inspection without risk of fire. Yay! This was no small job, and entailed disconnecting and removing the old circuit breakers and cutting a larger hole in the sheetrock to replace; then patch up. Daniel took care of filing the permit with the City. As usual, the job was done professionally, meticulously, and for a very fair price that no other electrical company can beat. Doug came out and did a full assessment, went above and beyond with spending the time to answer all of my questions about the process, some of the concerns I had with some existing circuits, and a huge worry I had about my SMUD utility line that was underground (not in a conduit), that he would be removing from the old panel and installing in the new. Once the assessment was complete, he provided me a competitive quote, described the permitting process, and the scheduling windows. I agreed to the contract, and we quickly began the process. In two days SMUD sent their engineer to come by and set up their part of the engagement and once the official scheduled day came Doug was promptly back early in the morning, along with SMUD techs to disconnect my utility so Doug can begin the work. He was very careful, thorough, and once again respectful to my questions (felt bad interrupting him from time to time as he was so deep into the replacement, and he was very kind and happily described where in the process he was and answered my questions). By 3PM the new panel was installed, he called SMUD to return and reconnect my utility service, and the job was complete..... it looked so much better, but more importantly was so much safer. He then scheduled the final inspection, and everything passed with no issues :) Doug then came back out to install the extra circuits in my garage for future tool stations, and all of that work went just as smooth. I can't tell you the stress of not knowing how the job was going to go and how well Doug was able to complete all of it and put my worries at ease. We had shopped around to a few places and had asked for them to do an air conditioner tuneup for…read morethis season and also a dryer vent clean out. They were the one companies that got back really fast. And when I say fast, I have put in a quote and I got an answer back within five minutes. They were very on top of everything asking me what I want done they gave me the price right upfront so there wasn't any surprises. It was a flat rate of $69 to do the AC tuneup. Then they gave me 5 to 6 choices for time scheduling to come out to do the job. They were able to do the job the very next day and the very first appointment at 9 am. Clayton was our technician who came out. He was very friendly, very polite and very respectful. I was able to walk him through the whole house to show him where the job was. I love that they were able to do a 21 point inspection for the AC tune up to ensure that the AC is ready for summer. These were few of the test that was performed: Thermostat: Ensures it's functioning correctly and calibrated. Filters: Inspects and cleans or replaces air filters. Electrical Components: Checks wiring, connections, and safety controls. Airflow: Verifies proper airflow through the system. Visual Inspection: Checks for any signs of damage, wear, or leaks. Operational Test: Runs the system to ensure it's operating correctly and efficiently. Clayton was also able to tell me that our filters need to change over and was able to give me the sizes so that I can purchase the correct ones to install for ourselves. He did a phenomenal job with the dryer vent cleaning, which also happened to be in the attic for us. He also told us that there was a small drip in there and was able to clear out the clog from the AC for us. He was very hands-on, very efficient and very thorough with everything. We had also asked them to give us a quote to move our AC unit which happened to be on our back patio. I love that I was able to ask questions and he was able to give me the different scenarios of what would work and what wouldn't work and why did & didn't work. Thank you so much for your honesty. They are a local business mom and Pop shop we love giving business to local business. We will definitely do business with them again and we highly recommend them to anybody in the area.
