But I felt like this was completely unacceptable behavior, especially right in front of customers. It's certainly not something we would accept from someone working in our establishment. At the end, we waited again for the check, and when my daughter calmly tried to explain our frustration, the server spoke over her and said, "I'm almost 50--I've been doing this since I was 17," which came across as rude and unprofessional.
