Everyone in our household has perfect hearing; they apparently do not because they REFUSE to listen to us. We contacted the Better Business Bureau and they are NOT members. The hearing aids themselves cost a little over $6,000, and UHC covered everything except the $290…read more I was never informed that there was an unpaid balance, and I did not know the account had been sent to collections. I was called, by Shelly, who informed me--rather bluntly--that the Hearing Aid Center no longer accepts Partnership HealthPlan as a secondary payer. She also told me I would need to pay the $290 before I could be seen again. I find it disappointing that after being paid more than $6,000, the center is unwilling to see a patient over a remaining balance of $290, without even offering a payment plan. My experience left me feeling that the priority at this center is money rather than patient care, and that I was treated dismissively because of an outstanding balance I was never informed about. I am sharing this so others are aware: make sure your insurance information is correct and confirmed, and always check what is--or is not--being billed or paid. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to proceed with caution if considering this Hearing Aid Center or go somewhere else for services.

We are happy because Karen and Denise have always been great to my wife and she would have missed them. I'm changing my 1 star to 4 because if this never happened a 4 star is what both Karen and Denise are. The front desk was our complaint and really is the face of the company. Because of Irma stepping up and taken ownership of the problem my wife doesn't have to find another place. Thank you all again.

Witnessed discrimination against patient with disabilities. The second the RN saw the patient, she…read morewas rolling her eyes, complaining, had a major attitude. The team explained that they called multiple times ahead of the appointment to explain the condition, what exactly would be needed and ensure it was an appropriate setting. The doctor scheduled to conduct the procedure had already evaluated the patient in-person and personally referred them to this center for her to complete it. Patient did absolutely nothing wrong, other than needing some assistance from their team, and a full team was present to work with them to ensure the Sutter staff didn't have to worry about anything. The RN immediately complained and was openly talking negatively about the patient in the hallway so the team denied service without even trying or consulting the patients team. Even after the reiteration that the procedure was urgent due to life threatening concerns and having a history of successful procedures with no issues, they refused service based on the fact they had disabilities that they were well aware of ahead of time. Very disheartening to see professionals in a field meant to help others be so discriminatory and hateful.

She was so easy to understand considering I am deaf. Reception area was very nice and welcoming too. I then met with Jessica who took the time to get to know me by asking how I ended up in her office and from there she was able to tell me about the Lace program along with cost and benefit. There was no pressure to purchase. The time so to her showed me how much she cares about helping people because she took the time to check my hearing aids and noticed that I was due for an adjustment and I had been noticing some struggles with hearing of late too. I consented to her making some recommended changes that I am trying to adapt now and so grateful to her for her time and expertise. This is a great office and I look forward to meeting with them again in the future.
