From start to finish, my experience at his Walnut Creek office was smooth, efficient, and full of care. From the moment I called, Victoria at the front desk made scheduling so easy. As soon as my ENT sent in the referral, I got a call that same day, on a Wednesday, and I was scheduled for Monday. That kind of efficiency is rare and deeply appreciated. When I arrived, I was seen right away. Dr. Sam walked me through every step of the process, clearly explaining what each test involved and what to expect. He's not just thorough, he's genuinely caring, especially if you're going through something difficult or stressful. He makes you feel heard, seen, and understood. When his last pair of ($7k!) hearing aids started to die (just out of warranty), he found a pair of hearing aids he was interested in called Oticon zeal, and found this audiologist with competitive pricing and incredible customer service. It's so refreshing to have my husband have so many positive things to say about his experience with both the hearing aids AND the audiologist. Long story short, Dr. Breitling ended up speaking with me for 15 minuets and explained why I was experience the issue I had and that I likely do not need a new brand of hearing aids. He was extremely helpful, well beyond the service I received with my previous audiologist and I should point out that he did all of this for free over the phone. He even asked about my insurance, which he unfortunately for me, is not in network for, but nonetheless, provided me with excellent advice. I can't imagine any other professional doing this. Kelly is terrific. She listens and makes sure any concerns I might have are addressed. They let me bring my dog in with me so I don't have to leave her home. She has separation anxiety. I appreciate the way they schedule regular cleanings even after the warranty has expired. They are not at all pushy about getting me to upgrade. I've had the same hearing aids for 6 years. I was even allowed to try a newer model for a couple of weeks. I liked the rechargeable battery feature, which my older model doesn't have, but didn't think that warranted the expense of a new pair. Kaiser audiology wouldn't even let me try a pair for a day. When I need a new pair I will definitely get them from Miracle Ear Pleasant Hill.
