I had Starkey hearing aids that were replaced while under warranty in May 2024. I went for an annual hearing test in January of 2025 and there was additional loss in my left ear. My ENT suggested that Bi-Cross hearing aids might be appropriate After working with the PH office we went with Bi cross and I had the first follow up appointment on February 25, 2025 and between that time and April 29, 2025 I returned to the office at least Nine times trying to get the hearing aids to work. Then we went on vacation to Europe and during that time I found the hearing aids to be so ineffective that I stopped using them. I notified the office on my return , May 28, 2025 and they asked me to go back to the office and they performed some new measurements and I tried them for three weeks and I returned to the office and reported that these' ineffective hearing aids we're having a very negative impact on my intellectual ability so much so that I had stopped using them and gone back to my old hearing aids. I ask for a refund because while I had tried to be patient and cooperative they were not able to deliver a functional solution The first response was that it was past sixty days and they couldn't be returned but they would try to work out something with Starkey. To date no resolution or communication. Starkey's website states that it can take up to four months for the brain and the hearing aids to be effective. Any response would be appreciated read more

I've waited way too long to thank you for the REAL hearing test. I wake up everyday and say this is the day I'm going to let Justin know what a gift that hearing test was. What you and Tony accomplished that day gave me back normal hearing without sounding like I'm in a tunnel. In fact it is so "real" that I forget I'm wearing hearing aids until I need to change the program or increase the volume. Waited a year for hearing aids. I finally said, "I been waiting to long" and took my business elsewhere. No one seemed happy to be there as a prospective client. No hearing test was done. I just received my first pair of hearing aids from Advanced Hearing Aid Center and it's a game changer for me. I put off getting them way too long but when I went in and Diana gave me a hearing test I had to admit I really needed them. Diana was amazing, I feel like I've known her for years. This place have a warm and friendly service, also fast. I took my mom here and we thought we have to leave the hearing aid for a few days but nope, she did it in about 45 minutes and she fixed it. I can not say enough about the Advanced Hearing Aid Center and the loving and lovely sisters who own and run it. My parents have been seeing Yolanda there for several years, and they were immediately taken by her compassion, her fairness and how clearly she explains things. Dealing with hearing aids means dealing with frailer seniors and she treats everyone she meets with uncommon respect. My mom has advanced Alzheimer's Disease, and recently we took her in because her hearing aids were not fitting properly. Yolanda spent so much time with her and with my dad, showing him exactly how to put her hearing aids in and explaining things in a way that he could teach the aids at the nursing home where she lives. She was so kind and gentle with my mother who could not possibly understand what was happening around her. Another thing I really value about the sisters at Advanced Hearing Aid is that they will not sell you something you don't need, and will work with you to get you the very best deal they possibly can. My Dad is on a limited budget and Yolanda suggested he wait to get new hearing aids until new models came out and discounts would be offered on current models. What he got was SUCH a huge improvement and she is working with him to fine tune them and make them even better. Five stars are not enough for Yolanda and the Advanced Hearing Aid ladies! read more

These folks are fabulous! My mother's hearing aid earpiece broke off. She purchased them in UT from a company that no longer exists. We called and they had us come right in. It was pouring rain when we got there. After getting the walker and my mother out of the car, we finally made it to the door which was being held open for us! Who does that? These ladies were so nice, efficient, cheerful, thorough, professional, I could go on and on but just take my word for it - they are fantastic! Remember.... we weren't even their patients. I made an appointment 4 years ago hoping to find out that I was fine and my hearing loss was normal. Diana thoughtfully explained that it likely would continue to get worse and after precise testing she fitted me with hearing aids that fit perfectly in my ear. She encouraged me to come back regularly to discuss how I was doing, in many different settings, meetings, restaurants, watching TV, and spent the time to finely tune and adjust my hearing aids for all these situations. She is extremely patient, will listen to your concerns, and give you all the time you need to get the results you want. A welcome change from rushed medical appointments with other doctors. I have been going to Advanced Hearing Aid in Pleasant Hill for over 15 years. I just purchased my 3rd set of hearing aids. OMG They are fantastic! I can adjust them for watching TV, to block out the wind, and for regular conversation and for my cell phone use. I live near a busy freeway and the noise use to interfere with my hearing but now I just push a button and the noise is gone, I use to listen to my TV volume 90% now I can listen to it in the 5% range. My brother came over yesterday and he has always talked so low I could barely hear him. Now I was able to hear him from across the room. In the past I could only hear parts of words, now I can hear the whole word. I use to go shopping and ask the clerk to speak louder because the noise from other shoppers interfered, now I don't have to ask anyone to speak up. My past hearing aids never worked as well but with the new technology it's like I can hear again. IT'S LIKE HAVING A NEW SET OF EARS! Diane and the rest of the staff are awesome, when I go in it's like going for a visit with good friends. They are always extremely helpful and cater to my individual needs.
