My ENT suggested that Bi-Cross hearing aids might be appropriate After working with the PH office we went with Bi cross and I had the first follow up appointment on February 25, 2025 and between that time and April 29, 2025 I returned to the office at least Nine times trying to get the hearing aids to work. Then we went on vacation to Europe and during that time I found the hearing aids to be so ineffective that I stopped using them. I notified the office on my return , May 28, 2025 and they asked me to go back to the office and they performed some new measurements and I tried them for three weeks and I returned to the office and reported that these' ineffective hearing aids we're having a very negative impact on my intellectual ability so much so that I had stopped using them and gone back to my old hearing aids. I ask for a refund because while I had tried to be patient and cooperative they were not able to deliver a functional solution The first response was that it was past sixty days and they couldn't be returned but they would try to work out something with Starkey. To date no resolution or communication. Starkey's website states that it can take up to four months for the brain and the hearing aids to be effective. Any response would be appreciated

What you and Tony accomplished that day gave me back normal hearing without sounding like I'm in a tunnel. In fact it is so "real" that I forget I'm wearing hearing aids until I need to change the program or increase the volume. That last adjustment that you and Tony did made all the difference.

They take care of every patient like they are their own family members. They spend so much time explaining the procedure, following up and keeping the family informed during the entire process. Having heart issues run in my family, I can't even say how at ease I am to have such a great cardiac surgeon group minutes away. I would never let my family go anywhere else! I have seen them first hand work miracles and rescue many lives! We are so lucky to have this team!!!

Dr Aguirre, is amazing and always takes such great care of me. About a week ago he was going to do a de-clot on my Graft, but was out sick. His office alerted me right away and scheduled me to see another Dr. in his practice. That's when I met Dr., Melisa Loja, M.D., MAS, RPVI. She was wonderful, made both me and my partner feel very comfortable about what she was planning to do, along with options if things did not go as planned. I had follow up appointment, with her today, where she took out my stitches and answered all my questions and concerns, I had about leaving for my trip to Hawaii. She insured me that I will not have a problem swimming with my perma cath in my chest. As long as I'm keeping it covered with the waterproof dressings. I love both of these Dr's. And feel comfortable in trusting them with my life.

From the moment I arrived, he recognized the severity of my condition and provided prompt, compassionate care. Dr. Loos treated me with both expertise and genuine kindness. He thoroughly explained what to expect during the healing process, and although it was hard to believe at the time because of how intense the pain was, everything unfolded exactly as he said it would. Thanks to his treatment plan and the medications he prescribed, I recovered just as he predicted. I'm incredibly grateful for the compassionate care I received. Dr. Loos is knowledgeable, caring, and truly takes the time to educate and reassure his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of an outstanding ENT physician.

I would not recommend this place and will never return…read more I was overcharged for services I did not request or need. I went in specifically because my primary care doctor referred me due to frequent nosebleeds. Instead of focusing on that issue, the doctor moved me from room to room, checked unrelated areas like my ears, and then charged me for those exams without explanation or consent. The entire visit lasted less than 10 minutes, and I left with nothing more than a cream for my nose, which has not worked at all. Somehow, that brief visit resulted in a $630.40 bill, which feels completely unjustified. I called several times to get it adjusted and they just gaveme the run around. I don't understand why unnecessary exams were performed or added to the bill. This experience felt rushed, disorganized, and extremely overpriced. If you're looking for honest care and transparent billing, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

I went in for a consult which was quick but the most eye opening one that I've had in my life. I've been trying to solve for this issue for many years as an adult and have always felt like I've gotten the run around. Not Dr. Ford. He did a scope and let me know what was wrong and what my options were. I chose surgery. After the consult, I worked with Barb, who was great help in answering my billing questions and just general questions of what the surgery and recovery would be like. She was just a pleasure to work with. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Ford checked in with me before and explained what would happen and answered my questions. The procedure was quick and efficient and everything went great. 6 days after my surgery, I went to his Walnut Creek office and had the stints removed. Again, another quick appointment and he answered all of my remaining recovery questions. I would highly recommend him for any ENT issues and let everyone know how patient and kind he and his office are.

As a long term patient, I had expected clearer communication and an opportunity to address the issue before being removed from the practice. I understand that medical offices have no show policies but I was not aware of the dismissal since I received no warning. The lack of notice and communication was disheartening, especially after being a patient for an extended period of time. I hope the practice considers implementing a more transparent and compassionate process for long term patients in the future.

Dear Contra Costa ENT,…read more I was going to ask what your problem is. Instead, I will spell out exactly what your problem is: the quality of the doctors! The 2 doctors I have seen in this practice are rude, arrogant, don't listen, want to do the minimum amount of work figuring out my problem, don't want to do a thorough workup, and could care less about my prior symptoms/medical experiences. The first doctor I saw told me to take ibuprofen everyday for a month despite my prior history of a GI ulcer. And I didn't even have neuromuscular pain! I sent him my file with my medical history a few days before and he obviously didn't review it. A doctor not familiarizing themselves with a pt's history is irresponsible. How can a doctor effectively treat a patient's problem without understanding their past medical history? The second doctor was fixated on a TMJ diagnosis could not accept that not only were night guards unhelpful for me, but that my dentist does not think they are necessary. His response was to tell me to keep wearing it twice instead of accepting my answer the way a respectable doctor should. A dentist's opinion that a night guard isn't necessary should be the end of an ENT bringing up a TMJ diagnosis, period. The same doctor (#2) made rude and arrogant comments demonstrating how immaturely he behaves. "I already investigated by looking into your ear" is not how to respond to a patient asking for a thorough work up. "I'm a pretty good clinician" is not how to respond to a pt who doesn't think you are communicating well with them. After dumping doctor #2, I found an amazing ENT who not only communicates respectfully but did a thorough evaluation that caught significant problems that require surgery. She and the audiologist who diagnosed a mild hearing loss were surprised my prior ENT kept pushing TMJ with the absence of dental symptoms. My new dentist (& my former one before I moved to CCC) did not see any evidence of TMJ. I'm pretty sure both dentists would have said something if they did. My current ENT also thought my hearing would have been worse than it was and honestly I think it would have been if I stayed at CCENT. I actually submitted a complaint against the doctor who refused to evaluate further (& was rude) with the CA Medical Board because I want him to see that not listening to patients isn't just rude but dangerous. I'm worried that people who don't have a lot of medical experience may not know to seek a 2nd opinion the way I did after I was mistreated. Contrary to other reviews, I never had problems with the staff. However, my experiences with the doctors in this practice have been horrible and 100% outweigh my interactions with the staff. This practice really needs to hire doctors who enter medicine for the right reasons, especially those who listen to their patients and want to do as thorough of a work up as possible. The two doctors in my review contributed to my PTSD diagnosis from several male ENTs who dismissed my pain. As a result, I would like to see this practice to hire female doctors as there are other women who feel the same way as me about needing to see female doctors only. I will never go back unless the practice hires female doctors who genuinely care about their patients the way mine does. I will also tell anyone who asks for an ENT recommendation not to go there either.
