After receiving my hearing aids, I couldn't believe the difference. They are so easy to wear, the pre-set setting was perfect for me and I could not be more pleased. Love everything about them. My husband previously had very expensive hearing aids that were getting older and the cost to repair them was more than a new pair from Sound World. He too is just thrilled with his new hearing aids. Today I went to the Niles office and told the receptionist that the left ear is defective. She told me that it would me $400 to send it out for repair and$65 for the office visit. That's ridiculous, what happens then if the right ear hearing aid also malfunctions? Another $465 ? Repairs possibly totaling $925 for both ears? No sir! I'm done with these people! If I'm gonna pay nearly a thousand dollars, out of pocket then I might as well buy new hearing aids with a three year warranty. I went to Costco and ordered a brand new set of hearing aids for $1399, with a 3 year warranty and NO charge for office visits.

Though review to write. The Doctor and exam were great! The billing process was, and 2 years later…read moreis still, a nightmare. I was told my Medicare covered the exam. Upon completion of the exam I was told I owed an additional $200, actually $400 because my wife also was tested. Fast (?) forward 1 year and I recieve a bill for $200 for my wife's exam, thatt I already paid for, but no bill for my identical procedure. Contacted their office and was told billing would contact me later that week. 6 months later got a second bill. I will spare you the rest but the short version is 2 years + after the exam North Side has recieved payments from Medicare, me, and from my insurance carrier. I shoud have recieved a refund from North Side because I paid a balance that my insurance company covered. I don't expect a refund but do expect to receive another bogus bill in a few months.
