During my first visit I was told by her that she was very busy because there was a doctor in the practice on leave and she was overbooked. I had several questions for her regarding my heath, and I was told by her that she did not have time to answer any of my questions. But, she did spend over 5 minutes of our visit trying to convince me to get a flu vaccine, even after I declined twice. I would have rather she spent our limited time answering my immediate health concerns as opposed to trying to convince me of getting a vaccine I did not need. My second visit never even happened because she was overbooked and had no time once again. I was very disappointed in the service that was not provided to me as a new at this practice.

He did not listen and brushed me off…read more I've had a chronic cough for more than 6 months and this guy tells me to stop coughing and learn to control it as if I hadn't already tried that or perhaps I'm 5. I believe I have allergies but this guy brushed me off after 2 minutes advising me to not eat Big Macs and opt for chicken and fish. Do I look like I eat Big Macs? And what does that have to do with my coughing spasms keeping me up at night? He is so incredibly rude, demeaning and not helpful. I'm back home and can't stop coughing. Thanks for wasting my time.

My 2 year old son had some tests done and she recommended he get tubes for the fluid in his ears. She told us we needed to call the Golf Surgical Center to schedule his procedure and even gave us a few dates that she has openings over the next 2 weeks. We called to schedule right away, left a voicemail per their instructions so they could call me back. Two weeks passed...no call back. I called again, did the same thing, waited another two weeks...no call back. In the end I called 4 times over 6 weeks to schedule. I even called the front desk of the Niles office to see if they could help and they said they would put in an urgent request to have the scheduling folks call me back. That was was about 3 weeks ago....still no call back. It blows my mind that this medical practice is allowing this to happen. My son will be getting tubes elsewhere.

Valentine's Day 2010...my most favorite day of the year, and I am literally crying from the pain in…read moremy ear. My GP refers me to Dr. Alan Wolff, an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist, and so off I go hoping for a quick fix so I can go on with my life. Instead I got a CT scan, a "wick" inserted in my ear, 3 prescriptions, and several sick days... but the good part is that Dr. Wolff is maybe the nicest doctor I've come across. I felt very confident in his care and he called me several times after my appointment to check up on me (not once, but several! this was very reassuring...especially after I looked up my diagnosis online and starting worrying about the infection spreading to my brain). The office assistants are also fantastic. My insurance company didn't want to approve my CT scan (which was necessary to my diagnosis) for 72 hours, but the office would hear nothing of it and made sure I got the procedure done that day. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wolff for any of your ear, nose, or throat needs. He also has offices in the city, and is a cut above the rest.
