Got to say this is a contender for the best business in Zion, as far as restaurants or anything. Healthyums is a health food store and cafe. It also happens to be friendly for vegans. A lot to get at breakfast or at lunch. There's also lots of baked goods and candies to get as gifts or for whatever. Checked it out the first time at breakfast. It has a dining area in front. They may not notice you sit so go up to the counter and let them know you're eating here. Has quite a lot on the menu at breakfast. It's about $5 for a smoothie. Lots of these including iced ones that are thicker. I had the Super Green one. This was made with apples, celery, cucumbers, grapes, kale, and spinach. Each of us got the Vegan Breakfast Stir Fry. It's $8 for diced potatoes and up to 5 vegetables. Good amount for a breakfast. This also comes with a choice of fruit, muffin, or whole grain toast. Health food stores are usually pretty expensive. It's not the case here. There's lots of things to grab and go as well, but it's good to eat in and get a meal, with many choices for vegans and vegetarians. read more

I don't care about preservatives in my food, or gluten, or carbs, etc. That being said, this is a really nice place with an attached store with a lot of healthy, natural products for sale (think soaps, oils, organic dried fruit, etc). The restaurant has both a 'regular' menu and a gluten-free menu. The food...tastes...wait for it...healthy. Haha! I got a ratatouille and it tasted like I was eating...vegetables. Which I was. It just wasn't my favorite. The cornbread tasted a little funny, but I bet it's just because they don't make it with "regular" flour. We were a little late picking up our order so we called to give them a heads up & they were super kind and accommodating which was nice. The food was delicious & such good prices! Myself and my significant other visited this amazing restaurant today for breakfast. The atmosphere is very inviting and serene. We were greeted by whom I think is one of the owners and decided to dine in. We both had omelets, mine with a side of fruit, his with potatoes and onions and a bun (similar to an English muffin but better) that they baked themselves from scratch! They knead their own flour! Absolutely Delicious! The ingredients were so fresh and vibrant in color. The fruit medley amazing! I have been waiting or months for this place to open --the just opened and my wife and I think it was worth the wait! They claim that everything they serve is made from scratch, and it certainly tastes like it. I don't know of any other restaurant in the area that specializes is "healthy" food (a lot of organic products, and even gluten-free items). Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a young staff (apparently the children of the owners), and everyone was extremely courteous and full of smiles! This was a very dissapointing experience. The chili that I ordered had no seasoning and the beans were hard, even the beef & bison were tasteless. The beef stew had some type of lumpy congealed gravy and did not resemble beef stew at all. The buns and rolls just tasted bad. I ordered cupcakes too, but I am hesitant to try them. Newly opened café. I had the Philly cheesesteak it came on with provolone onions peppers and organic beef. The unfries which were baked shoestring potatoes got cold quickly and texture was different than regular french fries. All sides are additional. My wife had the sloppy Joe sandwich.
