There were many items on sale in the store and a nice selection of products. So often on the drive between Toledo and Chicago, we've had to settle for unhealthy snacks from convenience stores because it's still hard to find good vegan options along the way. I discovered that they offer Reiki sessions, a practice I recently fell in love with and am eager to explore further. Then I saw that they're offering FREE Reiki appointments for the SB150! I emailed Colleen to inquire, who promptly got back to me and confirmed that, yes, this is in fact true and that she would be happy to see me before I left town. She was even willing to meet at 7AM which was the only time that worked for both of us. Colleen is an enlightened soul and truly gifted at her work. From the moment we met, our souls felt like old friends. I left the session feeling more centered and open than I have in quite a while. As this was my third attempt at contacting a potential new chiropractor, I decided to go visit my health insurance page to see who they had listed. This practice was on the list. So, I thought there may have been a mistake. I called back to the practice and Tabitha answered again. I shared with her (nicely!) what I'd found--that they were on the list on the insurance website--and she replied, "Yeah, for another week," with a strange attitude. She then followed up with a curt, "Do you want to pay cash?" Her attitude was just awful. I still wonder if she knew what she was talking about. But, honestly, if this person is the front-facing representative for the practice, seems like maybe I'm better off moving on to the next option. It's crazy to me that a business can operate this way and still end up with such a great rating. Very confusing.

Also, when I was struggling with my blood pressure during the second pregnancy, the Women's Care Center provided me with free counseling where I sat down with someone once every few weeks and she really helped me process my stressful doctor's appointments. I've taken my kids to their story time many times and love seeing other moms and babies, listening to great books and songs, getting free diapers- it's just a great supportive place. In reading the negative review here, yes, the Women's Care Center does not perform abortions. That's just not a service they offer, nor do they make that claim on their website or even hint at that. I've even had a friend receive a free car seat adjustment check here. Right? So many resources! They don't share anything or ask anything about religious beliefs, but they ARE there to support you during your pregnancy and through your parenthood. Thank you Women's Care Center!
