Not real fancy, but convenient, pretty good massages at a decent price. I have come a couple times; I like that I can usually call the day of and get an appointment within an hour of what I'd like, if not right when I'd like one. Friendly service, the rooms aren't much, but they don't really need to be. You can sometimes hear small sounds from other rooms, but not enough to be distracting. Not the average massage place. In a good way! I often feel underwhelmed by massages, but not after an hour at Healing Hands. Nat (my masseuse) used a combination of hot stones, stretching, acupressure, traditional massage, and Thai massage. I've never had anyone get up on the table to stretch me or stand on me during a massage before, and it was awesome! I asked for a deep pressure massage, and she delivered! Definitely not for the faint of heart, but if you want a massage that is deeply relaxing and feels worth the price, this is the place. $60 for 60 minutes (I think she actually spent 70 minutes with me). If you are a connoisseur of the massage, don't have high hopes. If you've never experienced a truly life changing massage, you will love this place. It's $60 for an hour. I say it's a $40 massage plus tip. I had Lisa. My girlfriend had Mark. Lisa is more of a feel good massage, no real deep tissue going on there. According to my girlfriend, she had to ask Mark to ease up on the pressure a few times, which would have been great for me. The place is clean, they have nice massage tables that have clean sheets. If you want a cover, ask for one, otherwise your only covered with a towel. If you feel uncomfortable, tell them, they do a full glut massage. I personally liked it. I'm sure it's preference but I define an amazing massage as a therapist who can accommodate all. read more

I have been here several times and am never disappointed. I usually receive the 60 minute deep tissue massage and have had several therapists. I can not stand going places and paying top dollar for them to "rub" your back. This place takes care of business and I always leaving feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. For the first time I had very bad experience with healing hands. I have been regular to healing hands since last one year. Yesterday I had 90min of massage and nothing but just getting cream applied to my body than get body massage to relax. Still my body feels stressed out and no relaxation after spending so much time and money. Never had such bad experience not sure if healing hands going bad on its services. . read more

I am so glad I read the reviews for this place! Definitely no frills, but honestly who needs all the spa froo froo décor, your eyes are closed for the entire session! It was clean, and smelled good, very polite staff. And the reviewer who gave the heads up about the butt massage, thank you! Had I not known that was coming I would have been very startled as that has never been part of any other massages I've gotten. Since I knew it was normal here, I was able to relax, and yeah... it felt great! Although I think ladies if your the undies on type (I am lol) wearing a thong Is probably the way to go lol. It was a mix of everything! Swedish, deep tissue, hot stones (freakin awesome!), and reflexology. I'd definitely go back, and with the price so reasonable I can afford to go more often. I walked in (after reading favorable reviews) and am so glad I did! I was greeted warmly by a cheerful receptionist and swiftly taken to my own (very clean) private room. Xie (pronounced "Shy") was so nice. She asked a few questions about areas of concern, amount of pressure I prefer, anywhere to avoid, etc and began a very efficient and thorough deep tissue massage. Be mindful that Xie is strong - and just what I (didn't know I) needed. I absolutely loved her technique. She worked the knots in my neck and shoulders that I asked her to focus on - and then went on to find sore muscles that I did not know needed attention. I've never had someone stand on the table during a massage before(!) - but it was incredibly professional, efficient and well worth it. I like that the receptionist encouraged me to drink lots of water after my appointment and even pressed a bottle of water into my hand at no extra cost. I enjoyed this experience so much that I bought a gift certificate for a friend before I left. And I will go back again. Thank you Xie! read more

Fantastic! I just finished my first visit there, where I went for some serious shoulder tension and where they were able to fit me in on quite short notice. My therapist (Dawn) did really intense work on my shoulders and back, working some heated stones in there (felt great!), and the massage definitely did the trick. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Atmosphere was like clinic cross spa (new age music in rooms, therapists in scrubs), which tells me that these folks are serious about massage. Overall, one of the best massages I've ever had. I'd recommend it and would return. read more

My first EVER massage and it was fantastic! I went in having anxiety attacks and migraine headaches and came out feeling calm, centered, and perfectly relaxed. I tried this place upon the recommendation of my sister and brother in law. They also have fantastic Yelp reviews. Well, basically it was the worst massage I have ever had. First off, the masseuse was late. Then she started the massage and her cell phone rang and she actually picked up and talked on the phone for a good 10 minutes while massaging me with one hand. From the reviews I read, I knew that they practice a wide variety of techniques, which was fine by me. She started walking on my back (STILL on the phone!). The massage was quite unorthodox, with the pressure sometimes being too light and too painful. She also did several things that were very painful. Towards the end once I was face-up, she started to massage towards my head/face and I asked her not to since I was wearing make-up and needed to go somewhere afterwards. She acknowledged with an "ok", but guess what...seconds later she slaps a warm and WET washcloth on my FACE. My make-up was ruined. Great. I definitely will not be coming back here. I can't remember the name of the masseuse right now, but will update my review when I do. read more

If you get a bad massage, and of course that can happen, they don't support the customer. They are good at excuses and not at customer service, they just want your money and don't care about your experience. Stay clear of this place, we gave them several opportunities to make it right and all they did is make excuses. read more

I'm starting to back the notion that massages are a necessity and need to be added to every medical insurance plan. Husband and I were in need of some muscle relaxation, so we booked an hour each at this location. It was very affordable in my opinion for the massage that you get. I think it was $1/minute, which came out to $60 total for all the non-mathletes out there. My masseuse was really friendly and actually talked to me the whole time, which I haven't really decided if I like or not. Before we began she asked me which areas she should concentrate on and the amount of force needed. She followed through and it turned out to be a really good, sore-the-next-day (probably cause I never drink enough water) massage. She even used her feet on my back, and I think they usually stand, but I probably looked weak to her so she refrained and just sat at the end of the table, if that makes sense. Probably not, but I get the idea. So anyways, I'd definitely go back and recommend them to everyone else. read more

I've been a massage therapist for 11 years, and work for one of the most prestigious spas in town! The cost starts at 110 dollars for 50 minute massages. now you know my background and can decide if you want to give any validity to what I am going to say. FIRST i am a picky massage client...I know I want deep but not torture! I know I want someone who understands anatomy, but doesn't make it feel like rehab. I walked into HEALING HANDS not knowing what to expect, and quite frankly a little skeptical that it might not be on the Up and Up if you know what I mean. But there were no signs of anything going on that wasn't legit. I felt very comfortable in the waiting area and the massage room. MY THERAPIST was AMAZING! He gave me one of the best massages I've ever had! He was extremely professional and I felt very comfortable the whole time! Not to mention he helped my back big time! Tricked and burned. My husband and I had a living social voucher for healing PATH massage and made an appointment at healing path massage. We accidentally went to healing HANDS massage (1 block apart). We stated we were there for our living social APPOINTMENT, she looked confused then said oh fill out this form. Our deal was for a couples Thai combo massage. We were taken to separate rooms. My technician came in to ask what I wanted. I stated the living social combo . "We have living social?" I said yes. He asked how long is my massage. I stated 60 minutes. My massage was OK. BUT my husband received a massage of someone walking on his back. He was beaten with hot wet towels and extremely hot stones. This left a serious 5 inch burn on his back. It still had not healed. After the massage we were asked if we were paying together. I asked if she needed the voucher code again (I had already provided it when I made the reservation) Then she said we don't have a living social. She pointed the name difference out to me and said oh people get confused all the time. Really! So she knew we were in the wrong place the entire time. We paid the $120 and left and also lost the value of my real massage for being a no-show. This place is deceptive and dangerous! read more

I was involved in car accident eight years back. My knees became weak and useless. I couldn't do the normal activity, the pain left me handicap. I'd tried chiropractor treatments, acupuncture, massages, etc, etc, etc. I felt helpless and depress since nothing works. I pretty much had given up on trying to find a solution to my pain until I went to Healing Hand's Massage. Richard tells me he can heal me, but it will take time. I was at the end of my robe, I was willing to try anything. Richard used many techniques which included traditional Thai & Shiatsu, reflexology, stone and whole body massage over the course of six months. Today I am happy to say I am fully recovered from my knees pain. I am able to do things I haven't done in years. Thanks for your effective analysis and diagnosis. What this place may lack in décor (compared to luxury spas) it by far makes up in trained, talented therapists, cleanliness, and price. This has to be the worst service I have ever received. This just so happens to be nephrology nurse's week and as a clinic manager, I wanted to surprise my nurses and entire staff with 30 minute massages. I called and spoke with Nat on Monday and she agreed to come out to my facility and perform 30 minute massages on my lunch. All I had to do was call and confirm Wednesday morning. My assistant calls Wednesday morning and speaks with the manager only to be told that Nat is not in. He says he has been out since Friday and is not aware of any appointment made. I called him myself to see if any headway can be made only for him to make excuses and not take accountability of the fact that a screw up has been made on their behalf. As a manager, just because you haven't been in since Friday, that doesn't mean your business doesn't continue to run. The fact that you cannot reach your employees has nothing to do with me receiving a service. Nat finally calls me back only to acknowledge a the screw up. Now I look bad in front of my staff and regional director and the company failed to offer some sort of remedy to correct their mistake! Worst service I have ever received. For anybody reading this, run far far away from this terrible establishment! Not worth it! There is a lack of communication amongst the staff and a lack of accountability! The only reason they're even getting a star is because I have to rate them to post this review! Thanks for ruining Nurse's Week healing hands!! read more
