Healy Hyundai is the WORST! They wheel you in with "specials" like "come in for a test drive, and get a $50.00 gift card" or, "all cars on sale, etc.", and whatever other false information they print in the paper, and then when people come in, they do a "bate and switch" or they do not honor the $50.00 gift card advertisement, this is even if you PURCHASE a car from them. They talked a lot, they bumbled, they bated and switched, all to keep you in their show room and sell you something that you DID NOT COME IN FOR! I began taking my fairly new car here a few years ago when I moved to area for oil changes. Every time I went there, the service advisor would give me a list of services he suggested as maintenance for my car. These services were typically hundreds of dollars. I had them do the work because I wrongfully trusted them. My husband kept warning me they were just making money off me. I was fortunate to locate a fantastic mechanic closer to home. When I brought them list of suggested work needed from Fishkill Hyundai, they were appalled saying this work did not need to be done yet & went over owners manual with me. I recently returned to Hyundai for a recall matter & again I was given a list of "needed" work for almost $2,000. I was told I needed 4 new tires ( just had them put 4 new tires on my car 3/16)and that my current tires were so worn, car was dangerous to drive. They must use crappy tires because we don't travel all that much.They also advised me my license plate light was out. Well, I went to my mechanic the other day, again with list from Hyundai. Turns out my 4 tires are fine, & my lights were all functioning! The services they suggested at Healy are not necessary for quite some time yet. This place is highway robbery! ! And they know I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, obviously they lack a conscience as well.They have the audacity to tell you to give them a #5 when you receive their review. WOW! Hopefully I will not get another recall, because I don't want to have to return there! Please get a second opinion before throwing your money away! read more

Dishonest, I bought used Hyundai from a used car lot and brought it to them to check it. I was told it needed new drive shafts and a bunch of other stuff for a total of $2200. Took the car to another dealer who found that nothing was wrong. read more

For some reason I thought I had an issue with my breaks I was told it would cost me 355 dollars to fix I said no way and they charged me 138 dollars for nothing and I mean nothing I called the dealer in Yorktown NY Curry Hyundai I spoke with service Manger he said to bring the car down tomorrow morning and will fix the issue and also do the recall for no charge......... Gee I wonder where I am going to buy my next car Wake up Healey its all about service I am also going to contact the BBB about my charges of 135.06 for doing nothing at all Not even the recall was taken care of I will never set foot back in the dealer ship. I have never formally went out of my way to write a review about a company, but I feel that my experience with Healey Hyundai deserves this. If you read nothing else in this review, please remember this. Do not go to Healey Hyundai to purchase any sort of vehicle. I bought a brand new car from Healey Hyundai in July of 2017. I at first was going to walk away from their pushy sales tactics, if it were not for one of the sales managers who told me that "we don't need to beat him up today to get the sale." That day more than 3 sales people came to me while I was at the desk to pressure me into a monthly payment that "could go no lower" only for them to come back and get it lower again. They would ask "what do we need to do to get you in a car today?" Regardless, the sales manager saved the deal for me, and I returned later that week to purchase the car. Fast forward a year and a half later, and I have had to have the car towed to Healey (3) times as the car was inoperable. I want to stress now, that I do not blame Healey for this. However, I went there recently as they wanted to "help me out" as this was a tough situation for any new car owner to be in. I went there this past Monday. As soon as I sat down, I was pressured about getting into a new car. They immediately began with the pushy sales tactics all over again. They promised me they could get all this money off a new car, but my current car had so much "negative equity" that there was almost no way for them to help me out. I told them very bluntly, that I was only there because they said they wanted to help. If it made financial sense for me to get out of the car, I would. I was there the first night for almost 4 hours. They had me wait for at least an hour before the appointment, only to have me sit at a desk then wait. Later, the sales manager came over to try to pressure me into a new deal. He received a phone call that "he wasn't going to take", only to realize it was the "big boss." He talked to this person in front of me stating that he was "doing everything he possibly could for me." They weren't able to help me that night, and asked me to come back again two days later. I should mention, they called me approximately 5 times the next day with "amazing deals and finds." I went in the next day, and very plainly laid out my terms. I assured them that there would be no hard feelings, but that was my bottom line. They had me sitting there again for another 2 hours. I was told by the 4th person who came to "help me", that he would be everything he could to find me a car within those parameters. Fast forward (2) days, and I receive a call stating that no car dealership would ever be able to sell a car to me for that price, and that anything they had promised me earlier in the week was off the table. Which leads me to this review. As I stated before, I truly don't go out of my way to post reviews. However I strongly suggest that anyone looking to buy a new or used car, go elsewhere. Was not really planning on writing a review on here.But after four months have gone by after i purchased a car from here.I get a phone call stating i have to pay back,to the dealership,not Hyundai.Who gave my daughter the $400 recent college grad rebate.which they offered to her and signed the contract.I tend to agree with Nick M,post. Very friendly staff,but become very pushy.So now they threaten to take us to small claims court,knowing we gave them all required papers for proof.I will make sure i never buy a car here again,nor even recommend them to anyone.Pretty pathetic. read more

This review is about the service dept. Not the dealership. Let me start off by saying they are the WORST service dept ever!!! First of all I bought a car that didn't start to them on a tow. The first thing the guy behind the counter said to me was "we'll check it out, if you decide you wanna fix it or you can trade it in". This is a 2014 Elantra. Are you kidding me??? Ok that was strike one...They bring me home(at least they did that) and 5 hours later, I call him back and he tells me it had no gas and that's why it didnt start. Which is crap, because I bought it in with 3/4 of a tank. So he says they had to put gas in it. (Strangely they never charged me for it) yea right!! Then he tells me it might need a battery soon and that the battery for that car costs $367. WHAT???!! He tells me it needs a special battery because of all the sophisticated electronics in the car. This is a base model Elantra we're talking about here. Then he tries to sell me 2 fuel injector cleaning services. Ok ok, MAYBE it needs that. So I had them do it. Then he says he can't guarantee that would solve the problem. So I pick up the car with the same 3/4 tank if gas I bought it in with and zero confidence that the problem is fixed. This guy clearly needs a new job or maybe this is how this place operates.. Either way, I would advise anyone reading this review....NEVER go to Healy Hyundai EVER!!!! Got a phone call and was told they would definitely beat that price and to come in. After being strung along with a salesman for the whole afternoon the best they could do was &1,600.00 more than the quote. DROVE UP TO FUCCILLO IN ALBANY AFTER THEY GAVE ME a NO HAGGLE PRICE.... Went in to look at one specific car and salesman (Chris) could not find the keys and didn't know where it was?? Took a while, then the when he found it, the drivers seat would not move out from under the steering wheel. He took it to the service department...30 minutes later, ready to test drive...but, don't move the seat...AND this will be fixed!! I loved the car, except for , no remote starter...NO sale without... a few scratches. asked to be buffed and promised a " paint pen"? Ok, so 3 1/2 hours later promised remote starter, seat repair and touch ups...Oh btw, you have to take possession of the car today... and bring it back to install the remote starter...AND take it to Honda to fix the seat....UUUmmm NO!!....ok so we will transfer the plates and the insurance and keep the car and do the work.... Finance Guy, (Mark) has all the paperwork ready, my friend is going into a diabetic low, needs to eat , we have been here for 4+ hours... So I'm signing papers, lot of papers, worried about my friend, Then had to deal with Taylor to transfer the the insurance...and OF COURSE they screw me on the price and add in the cost of the remote starter.... AND the 6.29% loan.....Went to my Bank today and I can get less than 4%.... WTF # Not Happy, #couldn't sleep...#Canceling tomorrow...#Not a fan.... read more

The SERVICE team is what keeps me coming back. Incredible service from people I now know. The Healey Brothers hire and retain excellent staff from technicians to advisors. I have automobiles worth a lot of money because of the incredible care they have received over their lifetimes. The courtesy shuttle once took my son to elementary school when I was a single mom! I have been a Hyundai customer for over 20 years, and this dealership and the sales manager are the biggest scammers that I have ever dealt with! I filled out the online pre-approval for the 0.0% financing. Then I get a call from one of the salespeople to set up an appointment with the sales manager. while speaking with the rep, I asked them about the 0.0% finance approval, and they said yes, you are approved! So I said again that I do not want to waste anyones time, if not approved. The rep puts me on hold to speak with the salesmanager "Chris Bellantoni", comes back and states again that I am approved for the 0.0%. I set up the appointment, and come into Healy. I find the car that I wanted, do the test drive, everything going good! We sit down to do the paperwork and gues what? Not approved for the 0.0%. So I wasted my whole sunday afternoon!!! Then Chris the sales manager calls me and says he will take care of this "even get Mr. Healy involved", and he will give me a call tomorrow. That was on monday, so fast forward to Thursday still no call? I finally call to see what is going on, and Chris says sorry we cant help you! This dealership is dishonest and use deceptive business practices to lure people into the showroom! I would never use them again! My experience was so terrible, that after 20 years I will no longer do business with Hyundai. Do not believe a word that comes out of anyone mouth at this dealership!!!!!!! I wish that I knew the name of the family that purchased the gray "the husband wanted blue" Santa Fe 5/22/16. Brought my car in for 2 required recalls. Scheduled my Inspection with it while I was there. After calling me and sucking me into an oil change and tire rotation for $99 I get there to pick up my car and they couldn't do the inspection. Why not you might ask? Because apparently after doing the recalls the car must be driven for 30 miles or the car won't pass inspection. WTH? So I asked "why didn't you do the inspection first then?" The response "We made a mistake" Unacceptable. I did not have another 45 minutes to wait for their staff to drive my car around to reach the acceptable mileage and then do the inspection. And no, I can't go back tomorrow as they requested, I have a job!! So now it's on me to find more time in my schedule to go someplace else and get my inspection before month end. I will NEVER go back to Healey which is unfortunate as we've bought 3 cars there!!! Ridiculous! Would rate zero stars if I could! read more

Car went to Healey for a warranty fulfillment. It was there for 2 months with absolutely no communication to me. They claimed it was because that communication was going through my autoshop who referred the car there; however, I had called on four different occasions for updates and was told nothing and my autoshop assured me they had no communication with Healey until the day the car was done. When I finally got the car back, they didn't call me they called the autoshop. Then it turned into a hassel to get the car up and running again because my car had been rejected on the lot and the battery died. They couldn't give me a new battery, so all they did was jump start me and tell me to go elsewhere. My car inspection had expired in the two month my car was there, and they refused to inspect it because of the battery that they wouldn't replace. They were going to let me drive off the lot with an expired sticker until I said absolutely not and they finally decided to run my car through the inspection, say it was unable to pass yet, and extend my time frame for the inspection 10 days. It was awful. My car went to them after a incredibly frustrating situation which Hyundai was warrantying. Their service just added salt to the wound. read more
