6/23/25 - a few weeks ago the driver side door would not operate unless you used the key fob to open it. All the other doors are OK. It's tolerable, unless it's raining out to have to use the key fob. My experience with this dealership has been declining. They give appointments that result in an all day wait for return of your car. I feel regret because I referred my son-in-law to them and he is now on his second car, a 2018 Santa Fe. In January 2026, on his way home his car refused to accelerate beyond 45 miles an hour on 84. He was able to get home and had the vehicle towed to the dealership. We waited a week and called for a repair status. He was told that the key hadn't been received and they were unaware that the vehicle was on site. The tow company insisted that they had provided the key. Healey required him to bring the remaining key. They quoted a replacement cost of 1000 for the key. He had to return to the dealership for re-inspection of the car at the beginning of June. The service representative told him that the key had been found and apologized. The repair was needlessly delayed and the key missing for 5 months. There was no offer of any compensation for the egregious malfeasance. I was angered by their cavalier response. I called to speak with the GM and no return call was received. An eventual conversation with the assistant manager for service resulted in an offer of one free oil change after trying to blame the tow company for a key they clearly received. A conversation with the Service Manager - Phil, resulted in him stating that we should be happy for a the repair, recognize human error and understand that the discussion could have been avoided if the representative had not been honest and returned the key. The service manager advised that they reviewed camera footage in a case where they were not at fault for a lost key but didn't review video in the case of my son-in-law's car. The tow company said that loss of customer keys is a regular occurrence at this dealership. It's sad to think that someone at a management level would think that losing a key and then discarding a key is acceptable when customer service is a mandate. read more

On February 7, 2026, my car was towed to Healey Hyundai. By February 10, I contacted the service department explaining I had a death in the family and urgently needed a loaner vehicle. I followed up again the next day to report a visible bubble in one of the tires -- an obvious safety concern -- but nothing was done. When I later brought the car back on April 8, I was charged for that same tire, despite the issue already being present and reported that next day after picking up the loaner car. I did not hit a pothole or cause any damage. This experience was extremely frustrating, especially given the circumstances. The lack of urgency, communication, and accountability from the service department was disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this dealership. read more

Do not go here for service. Brought my hyundai elantra to them because it would intermittently not start. They said it needed a crankshaft speed sensor and would cost about $1100 to fix...$400 for the part and $600(3 hours) for labor. Did some research and the oem part from hyundai was $147 and a youtube video showed me how to replace it myself in under an hour. Bought the oem part and fixed it in 60 minutes. Healey was happy to charge me a $200 diagnostic fee even though the diagnosis took 2 minutes with a obd2 scanner which i bought for $80. To their credit, they did state this fee up front. One of the best car buying experiences (Thanks to Patrick Jaffee) we have had in a long time. The only one that came close, was at our Mercedes Dealer, but we decided rather than buy another Mercedes, we would look at the Hyundai Palisade, Calligraphy edition, which would have all the features we needed and more than we ever imagined we would want. Who isn't hot in the summer months and wish they had a cool seat? ME! This beauty has cooled vented seats. No joke! And if you're the driver, not only do you get cooling seats in the summer (and heated) - but you also get a light pressure point massage. I love this car. Not to mention the drive. BUT you will have to learn that for yourself. We walked into the dealership, and this is what I loved the most. Nobody attacked us. I saw a brochure for the Palisade on Patrick's desk and asked if I could borrow it! He said, you can keep it and if you have any questions, I am here. That's when we said, we have lots! What attracted me to Patrick's personality, was that he was not overly zealous. In a car dealership, especially that makes me uncomfortable. We talked about the features; we knew there was one on the lot for us. It was the calligraphy, and it had the towing feature (5,000 lbs.) - which we needed, and it was our first-choice color Steel Graphite. They looked at our 2018 Mercedes 350 GLE and we took this baby for a test drive. We were so in love with the vehicle and were sure not to tell Patrick (laughing) - He knew. We sat down, he went and talked to the most patient Peter Burnett (sales manager), and they made us a great deal. We felt we received exactly what we wanted for the Mercedes and what we wanted to pay for the Palisade. After that was done and an application filled out for financing, we went in and met with Joe to discuss the options for extended warranties and honestly, this is what sold us. They are expensive, there is no question, but over the term of the financing it's worth it. We got pretty much everything, a few things we left off, but left knowing we would be worry free for the next 10 years and paid for service for about 10 years. We don't drive a lot. Then after the exhausting signing of papers, we were brought into the lovely Monica McKnight (in photo on right) - who handled our insurance. Thank you so much for your patience, Monica! While the car was getting prepped and simonized, Monica took Deb (my wife) to see all the features. We were in a rush, as we had an appointment, but I know if we have questions, our wonderful team at Healey Brother Hyundai will help us. We noticed a scratch on the passenger side door chrome strip about an hour after leaving. We were in a rush and never did a proper walk around. We were told to come in today (day after) and they would look. Patrick showed up on his day off to check it out and he and Stanley Garland (Sales Manager) ordered replacement trim. I am in NYC and found an incoming stock of 2024 Elantra N from this dealer. Despite the 4 hours round trip on driving distance, I still decided to go AFTER confirming over the phone that there is no dealer mark up. Funny enough, dealer mark up was there. I still do not understand part where they ran the credit check first (hard pull) and then came up with the offer with 3k mark up on the vehicle. I understand this specific model is rare but it still doesn't explain or justifies the way they work. Giving the number prior to running a hard inquiry should come first. If you're going to be greedy at least be transparent so that people don't waste their time. It is a shame that Hyundai that makes fantastic car and shdy dealers like Healey ruins the experience by having a ridiculous way of conducting the business. Experiencing from this dealer, it clearly tells me that either they are amateur and not really know how to conduct a business in organized steps or just trying to trap the buyer and burn them when they do not want to take their offer with 3k dealer mark up on top of MSRP. Paying a visit to Healey was a traumatizing experience overall. I would not want to recommend or shop from Hyundai ever again after this. ** Update after the response from the dealer *** I would rate 0 star if I could. I just agreed on MSRP from the other dealer prior to the hard inquiry. I finally ran my credit and put down a deposit afterwards. This is coming on next Tuesday. I find it funny you say you can't do while the other dealer can. Please also stop making its rarity as a reason for the markup. It's a vehicle under 38k you're trying to make it sound like a GT3 and sqeeze every single penny out of it. Please wake up and stop disappointing people with pure greediness. Your logic tells me that you have no dealer mark up for stock cars but there is a dealer mark up for the cars in transit but you never said there is no dealer mark up. I was forced to replace my first car within a year due to a collision. I called them crying because I was frustrated with insurance valuation of my car and a physically injury. They went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of without any effort on my part. My 2013 Hyundai Sonata engine blew. I was referred to Healy, and took a chance. The turn around time was AMAZING. They xalled me each day with updates. Were able to locate a loaner car. He's going to take the time to show you different cars and help you really find something that you love and can afford. But once you're past the point of knowing what you want, then comes finance, one of my favorite finance managers is Anthony M aka Tony. As a first time buyer, I really appreciate the fact that Anthony took the time to explain every single form to me and what all the fine print meant. I didn't feel like I was being tricked into something or that something was hiding in the fine print. I was always warned in life. Make sure you read the fine print and understand what you're signing. And that is exactly what Anthony helped me do as an individual with a learning disability. Sometimes I find I have a hard time reading and comprehending some words, especially the finance lingo. But in this instance, I didn't have a worry in the world. I bought a 2023 Elantra from them about a month ago and the car had to be redetailed- cause they did a horrible job and had to wait 2 hours for it to get redone and the salesperson asked to write a good review- which they car dealer did not deserve, also when i got the car it only had 1 key , i was told there was a recall on the key- 3 weeks later after i check and no recall on the key - misinformed -then on friday July 29th spoke to the manager he said he had to call his regional its now monday August 8th with still no response- The salesperson who was off friday when I got my car Brando and did not follow up with a call when he got back- Healy been in business for 40 + years , I don't know how they survived this long- Poor customer service - I would think twice before i went there again- They don't care about the customer the need to sell cars. read more

Terrible service experience yesterday from this dealership after buying 5 cars there! No one in CS knew how to file a manufacturer tire warranty claim even though they had 2 weeks before my appointment to learn how. Without asking, agent ordered a new tire without filing the warranty claim. All they wanted was a sale without service. Tried to file an online complaint with owners and that site just displays a "404 error message" Today within 3 hours a local service shop got me a replacement tire, completed the warranty form and it cost be $0. It has all kinds of problems. It keeps running out of oil. It's a 2019 there is no reason a new car should have so many problems. So they suggested going to them every time oil is low for a oil change. Now my son would like to get rid of the car and they give him the runaround. In order for him to get rid they want more money. It's just so low of this dealership. They can't be trusted. They didn't mentioned that it was a buy back lemon.. I'm giving Healey One Star only because I can't go lower. They were great with getting you through the door, but a complete failure with the required follow ups once you cut the initial check. The "incentives" for EV chargers and installation are a pure nightmare to track down - and rest assured - YOU will have to chase these. And when the finance department doesn't deliver the paperwork you need to move forward, good luck getting in touch with the finance guy at Healey that assured you to "let me know if there are any issues or concerns." Huge disappointment for what should have been a happy experience. I'm not sure if this is a Hyundai situation, or a Healey situation - but I HIGHLY recommend doing business elsewhere. BE WARNED - HEALEY DOES NOT HONOR THE MAINTENANCE PLAN On 9/4/2022, upon paying for an oil change at Healey Hyundai, I was persuaded to purchase Healey's Blue Premium Maintenance Plan for $377.36. I had, and will have for another three years, a DMV required interlock device in my car. As I stayed there while it was being done (so I could start the car for them when necessary), there was no issue or hiccup in the completion of the oil change. I returned to Healey Hyundai on 12/6/22 for subsequent scheduled oil change and expected to use the Healey Blue Premium Maintenance Plan that I purchased at the previous service appointment, but was instead told that they recently changed their policy in regard to the interlock device and would not honor the maintenance plan I purchased. I was a bit perturbed because I had to use a vacation day to have my car serviced...would have been nice to know this previously, but ok, whatever, sucks for me. I told the service rep that I expected a refund for the unused portion of the $377.36 maintenance plan, which should be at least $227.36 if I estimate the cost of the 9/4/22 oil change at a very generous $150. The two service guys at the desk agreed that I should and would receive a refund. In fact, Tony L. emailed a "Frank Richter" right then while I stood in front of him at 2:34pm on 12/6/22 to request the refund - as, "he is the person who handles this stuff and he will call me about the refund". I was not given any contact person info with which to follow up. Having not heard from anyone in several days, I called Healey Hyundai today and the kind receptionist informed me that Frank Richter is their HR person????? Why would the service guy email the HR person about my refund?? BECAUSE IT IS A BS HOAX, that's why. I guarantee you they are planning on keeping my money. In April 2022, I came to Healey to purchase a particular car. They said they were about about 5 months out for this model. I visited their website regularly and saw that they had the car I wanted. When I asked my salesman about it, he said that they were asking 5k over the suggested retail price, and he didn't think I would have wanted to pay that price. He was correct. However, he said one was coming in sometime during the first week of December. That got changed to the end of December, then got changed to the end of January 2023, although their website says they have 4 of them available at MSRP. I'm tired of not having my calls returned. I had no intention of looking at a new vehicle but the salesman was very nice and convinced me to test drive something, I fell in love and wasted hours over the next few days trying to negotiate a deal that was in my price range. They were deceitful and never told me the actual price of the vehicle and told me they were paying off my current vehicle, but in fact when we did the math they were rolling over thousands! One of the people I dealt with dismissed me and looked at my husband and said "Well, I see you are the decision maker in the family" being that it would have been my car, that comment was enough to make me go somewhere else, but with the amount of people they had coming in the door with their "game" they didn't cry over loosing my sale..although in the 2 days I was there I saw a lot of angry people who thought they won $5,000! read more

Got a mailer in the mail that i won $5000 and it said to come in to claim your prize. I called the number and my confirmation number went through. What a SCAM!! I went to the location and I guess the confirmation number on the card HAS to match the numbers on their board to win. So it didn't match and they gave me a BOGUS $100 gift card that really isn't a gift card. You complete a form a mail it in for 4 different $25 gift cards for stupid online stores. My wife and I recently bought a used car here and I don't understand some of these terrible reviews! We had a very good experience from test drive to the final deal. Our salesperson, Malcom, was excellent but so were the other employees we dealt with - Anthony the finance manager found financing that beat the pre-approval we walked in with by two full points, and Eddie (I think - I hope I got his name right) worked out a way to take in our trade in so we didn't have to repair it ourselves. Just bought a new 2022 Tucson from Healey Hyundai. Teddy took good care of us. He was patience, very nice, and listened to our wants and needs. We went in to see two 2021 Tucsons we had seen on Healey's website, test drove each, then we saw a red Tucson 2022 parked in the lot, which had all of the options we were looking for. Teddy and the Healey team worked with us to agree on a price we could afford, and they gave us a great price for our trade-in vehicle!! The next day we went to sign the paperwork and pay, so they could get the car ready for pickup as soon as possible in the next few days. We were very surprised and incredibly happy when Teddy explained to us that the car was already detailed and ready for us!! As we didn't expect it to be ready so quickly, we hadn't gotten the new insurance cards that we would need. It was no problem for Healey... they called our insurance company and we got the new insurance and ins. cards. AND they work with the DMV so they also registered the new car right then! Two hours after we arrived, we said goodbye to our little Civic and drove home in our new Tucson SUV!
