Management didn't explain well at all but the salesman was good and deserves a better dealership he was the only slightly good part if my families experience here. If you want to buy a car with a pre-approved loan going through with an electronic transfer (that is not with the dealership) from your place of choice that might take a bit to transfer dont try that here unless you want to hear "first come first serve" while you wait for the bank to transfer when you have it pre-approved and know it WILL go through. This was so stressful and really wasn't worth it as we aren't from super close by, the experience was so much time and effort for a car we really wanted and we just ended feel unfavored by the dealership with a long drive home and a loan to cancle.

So I'm having an issue with the uConnect system in my 2015 Ram switching sources. In other words,…read moreI'll be listening to my music via my iPhone with the bluetooth connection and it switches spontaneously to the AUX input and then switches to the Sirius/XM tab, which I don't subscribe to so it's one big long infomercial on why I should have a Sirius/XM subscription. So I go online and download the most recent software update to a flash drive and use the instructions to install the update in my car. Voila! Success! But this doesn't fix the problem. I call uConnect and they do a bit of trouble shooting and the problem still persists. I'm told I have to bring it to the dealership which is where this business comes in. I make an appointment specifically telling them this problem on a Friday so they say they can look at it Monday, so far so good. I drop it off Sunday night and specifically write my problem on those night drop envelopes telling them why the vehicle is here and what the problem(s) is (are). I get told while at work today that the car is ready. So my wife picks it up. Dropped 541 dollars because I needed the oil changed and the rear defroster re-glued. But the invoice says they charged 199.95 as 'labor' for assessing the uConnect issue. The invoice says that uConnect went to 4G service and that my 'version' is 3G. It also said I'm to call uConnect and they're supposed to send 'hardware' to reconnect. So I follow this advice and the gentleman at uConnect says that 'wouldn't have anything to do with what your telling me' and puts me through to the same number that told me I had to bring it to the dealer the first time. So I oblige this person and follow their advice which, big surprise, doesn't work and she tells me to bring it back to the dealer. Now I call this dealership back and tell them that uConnect did not agree with anything that they recommended. I also confirmed that they charged me nearly 200 dollars essentially to do....what? Labor? I wish I could make 200 dollars for making a phone call. I almost wouldn't care if the information was valid but as stated above, uConnect told me that's not the issue. So now I'm out 200 dollars and getting the royal run around if it wasn't obvious from my description above. To make matters even worse, the service guy on the phone started to say that they didn't really know what the problem with the radio was, even though I took great pains to write out the problem on the back of the drop box envelope. I think everyone is familiar with those envelopes? They ask for everything including next of kin? I guess, they just grab the keys out and throw all that vital information in the trash. Because again, it's not like the customer used it to communicate critical information about the vehicle's problems to you. And then of course above all, the veiled attitude that how dare I question their labor charge when they did absolutely nothing for that 200 dollars except make one phone call. As a 'conciliatory' offering, he tells me to bring the vehicle back and he'll 'take another look at it and won't charge me'. Gee, thanks, I really appreciate that. Because I have all the time in the world to bring it back to them to have another look at the problem they didn't address the first time they had it. I won't even mention that they didn't bother to top off my tire pressure even though I put that on the drop envelope too...oops, I guess I just did. Next time, just tell me to bring it to someone else who cares about the quality of work they deliver for the price they charge. It will save me a lot of time and aggravation.

We experienced two life-threatening incidents due to extreme mechanical negligence, and management is now completely ghosting us. 1. First Incident: After a routine oil change, the car started smoking on the highway. Technicians failed to tighten components correctly, causing a massive oil leak. They admitted fault and gave us a service credit. 2. Second Incident: We used that credit to buy new tires here. After pickup, the car felt dangerously unstable. We took it to another Toyota service center in Dover for an independent inspection. The result was horrifying: ALL 24 WHEEL LUG NUTS WERE LEFT LOOSE. My husband could have lost a wheel on the highway. We have an open case with Toyota Corporate, but the Rochester management has refused to return our calls for over two weeks. I have attached the official report from the Dover service center proving that all 24 bolts were loose. This level of safety violation is criminal. STAY AWAY!
