The owner told me "she'll be here in 7 or 8 minutes" at 11:05 and that she was over at Publix finishing up. I expected they would possibly make up for it by offering a discount, but no. They also charged for a wash and she did not blow dry my hair after - which is something Great Clips does, not higher-end salons. Overall, unprofessional and certaintly not worth $50. read more

I would like to point out that I have NOT let anyone cut my hair in TEN years - and this is because hair stylists ALWAYS wants to cut off all my hair, and they never listen to what I want to do. So, it is a BIG deal for me when I decided that I was going to trust Crystal with my hair. Crystal first cut my husband's hair. After that great experience, I decided that I was going to trust her to cut my hair, and I came back the very next day. She was very careful and patient with the process, and I am enjoying the benefits of my new hair cut. I believe I have finally found someone that I can work with for a long time. The prices here are very reasonable also. With the current Yelp deal, a regular hair cut is only $15. I got layers on mine at $45 + $5 for getting my hair shampooed as well. I see a lot of male clients come here, and I must say, they do a great job with men's hair cut. The other ladies that works here are also very nice. Now, this is quite a hole in the wall business, and I do wish that people know about them more. They have been here for 3 years, and I wish I had known about them sooner. I say, give them a try. I was not at all happy with my haircut. The employees are friendly and polite, but overall the quality is just not there. I was not having anything complex done. Just a standard men's cut. The length on the sides was VERY inconsistent. I should have noticed it while in the chair, but trusted previous reviews and thought the shop could handle the basic cut. Also, the owner did not honor the coupon that I received through checking in with Yelp. They use this as a way to get you in the door and then they tell you they cannot accept it. I went in for the first time to give a try, Since it was closer to my home. I went during the morning time and there was less people. I guess they were beginning to open so i waited for a couple of minutes. I went in for a haircut and Christa was my hairdresser. I was doubtful at first on how she would do it. I just showed my picture how i needed my hair to look at. She quickly looked at it and felt the condition of my hair that it was little dry so we went straight for a hair wash. After the hair wash, Christa begins to cut and towards some time i felt that she really has a passion in this and her skills begin to reflect slowly on my hair and i was very much happy that i was in a good hands. The whole experience was fun and Christa took every effort in going through the details. I have a 9 AM appointment for my toddler son on December 16. It's one of these subzero mornings. I arrived at about five after and not only was the business still closed, there was also another person waiting who had a 9 AM interview aith this business. I finally left about 9:15 and went to another hairstylist. They're advertised hours of business started 9 AM on Saturdays. I would assume that someone would actually physically be on the premises no later than quarter 'till. Unfortunately, this was a bit of a prospecting run since this was the closest hair place to my home. However Stephanie cuts my hair is exactly what I want every time. She's high energy, and can talk about anything. And that's a good thing because I get a lot of time and attention, even though it's a simple cut. Add in a shampoo massage at the end, and it's the ideal hair experience for me. The price of both these services plus the tip is still cheaper than a lot of higher end salons. And they don't give you even half as much attention. I only had to wait a short while since a gentleman was receiving a hair cut when I got there and only two were working that evening. Abid did a great job on my hair, cutting almost 6 inches off of dead hair and split ends. I was kinda scared while he was cutting, since he uses different techniques then I am used to but it turned out great! He is also very gentle, from both watching him cut the other gent's hair and my own I was impressed....other than having to adjust to the difference in length I am very happy with it. It only cost me about 15.00, so I gave him a great tip since I almost had to spend 40+ at another salon. The receipt also had a 10.00 off coupon for another haircut! My boyfriend just came home from getting a haircut with AJ. Normally, I get nervous when he gets a haircut. With men, there's that awkward length that has them walking around for a week or two right after the cut until they grow into it. Not with Headrush, and not with AJ. He got a short cut, shorter than I've ever seen him have, and it looks amazing! She took so much effort to trim every each flyaway, and the edges of his hairline are perfectly clean. This place is great and I'm lucky to have found it. The place is always clean and organized and the staff is does an amazing job to welcome new patrons, as well take care of regulars. Abid will treat you great and will give you his honest opinion, as well as suggest new styles or ideas, if you request. All of this for such a good price!
