Came here on a Sunday for my daughter's classmate's 6th birthday. I'm giving this place 3 stars for a few reasons: 1st when I walked in there wasn't anyone at the front desk to ask for help. There appeared to be two parties, one finishing up & one which just started. I assumed we were with the party waiting. (I got there @ 1:35p for the 1:30p start time) I asked my daughter if she recognized anyone from class and she said she didn't so we continued waiting until we saw an employee. Finally we see an employee & she explains the party had already started & the kids were inside playing.. 2nd reason for the 3 stars is that parents were not allowed inside the play area with the kids. I wish this rule was posted somewhere because I like to make sure I can watch my daughter at all times. The window only allows limited visibility. For the most part I was able to watch but this being my first time there, I would have preferred to watch for a few minutes before leaving her alone. 3rd reason, once the party was done playing, everyone received pizza & only the children were offered a drink. Not sure if its the responsibility of the parent throwing the party or if Head Over Heels provides the drinks but this was outrageous. I'm watching parents around me eat pizza with no drink to wash it down. I didn't notice a water fountain or a fridge with beverages to purchase. If there was water or a drink to be purchased, no one offered. I hope my review brings awareness to what I noticed as a parent coming here for the first time. What I liked about the place: There was a stool for kids to reach the bathroom sink & the bathroom itself seemed clean. The employees seemed nice & there were chairs available in front of the window to comfortably watch the kids. My daughter, age 6 had a great time at the party. read more

I go there fo gymnastics and also did one year of dancing...very disappointed with the dance program, I would give it 0 stars! The gymnastics program is good but they should really considering getting rid of a particular female coach who happens to be extremely rude to kids nonetheless!!! I ll make sure my kids never takes one her class...beside her most of the coaches are good! The kicknastics and ninja classes are awesome! read more

I go here for gymnastics it rocks but one of my coaches is rude but it is fine. And another disappoint is you only go once a week for an hour. Other than that the equipment rocks and most coaches are nice. read more

Our kids love this place. The boy and the girl both attend gymnastics classes here every Saturday morning. And despite how much I don't like getting up early on a Saturday to serve their needs, it has been money well spent to date. The kids get some exercise and learn some pretty cool, fun things here. The place does a booming business and is very well run. All the gymnastics teachers seem to be loved by all the kids. I just wish they opened up at night for parents to enjoy a few adult beverages and jump in the foam pit. read more

My daughter attended a gymnastics class there and since being there I have tried to sign her up for the events and they refuse to let my daughter attend because she wasn't 3 in September. If there is a age limit on their events then they should make them clear. On their emails It clearly states 3 and up. My daughter was 3 in December there for she should of been allowed to attend this event. I wouldn't recommend this place to anything. They aren't nice and they were rude to me on the phone. My daughter was in the 5th - 7th grade gymnastics class at Head Over Heels at the Parlin location. What she learned in the 8 weeks classes was AMAZING!!! She had coach Helena who went above and beyond to make sure she was safely doing the correct position and technique. Coach Helena is meticulous and you know if she teaches you something she teaches you right. My daughter was sad for the classes to end with coach Helena, but looking forward to taking more classes with her in the future. In the meantime the other coaches have a high standard to follow after being taught by coach Helena. She is truly the best! read more

Wow what a fun birthday party! This wasn't your usual bounce house jungle place. They kids get instructors and have lots of tumbling time. The after party room is a good size. Parents don't go in to the gymnastics area, we get to stay and socialize from the safety of a glassed in area. You can watch the kids have fun. This might stress out some helicopter parents?, but for us it was really a good time to get to know some of our kid's friend's parents. read more

This place is amazing for children ages 3-18!!! They offer dance, gymnastics, karate, cheer, and this brand new sport for kids 3-11 called Ninja Zone. Apparently, Ninja Zone teaches kids how to do the stunts they see Captain America and the Ninja Turtles, while also including lessons teaching them how to be a good person, how to control their bodies and their energy, and when it is and is not an appropriate time to use their ninja skills. Sounds like an awesome program and I can't wait for my son to start classes this week!!! read more

I take classes at Head Over Heels and I love it! The equipment is nice and my instructor is very helpful and pays attention to her students. The reason I am rating Head Over Heels only three stars is because I also attended when I was younger and did not like it at all. Other instructors (like my previous one) do not pay attention to their students at all. They lack energy and seem as if they do not care about their class. Many of the classes at Head Over Heels are based on age, not skill. When I was younger I was slightly more advanced than the other students, and I was forced to practice forward rolls and cartwheels when I was capable of much more than that. I still see this going on at times. My advice is to not join Head Over Heels unless you know who your coach will be and you know whether they actually care about their job or not. read more

My daughter went to a birthday party here and she had a blast! I planned my five year old's birthday here, and i love the fact that parents don't go in, I think they crowd the place. Afterall, it's NOT a family party, it's a kid party. The employees are a whole other story. They were USELESS, and iresponsible. They showed up late, and messed up my whole party sewt up, then had the nerve to ask me if i wanted to buy more time! I was speechless. read more

This is a wonderful place for children of all ages. U can give the right child a great experience. It's clean with an open space. My daughter absolutely loves it here. The only thing I recommend is you call the center prior to registration. I had a few bumps in the road with registration. The site said one thing and actually was told another regarding a child's age and which class would be the correct fit. So, just double ck with the friendly n helpful front desk girls. If I could give Head Over Heels - Parlin a Zero star I would've done it! That's how much truly I'm angry and irritated from this place. I had the worst experience ever at Head Over Heels - Parlin. My daughter was enrolled in the 3/4 years old Gymnastics Class every Saturday morning. First... The two female instructors were very basic, they wouldn't interact much with the children. They looked like machines repeating things over and over again just to get over the 45 minutes class. They lacked energy and they were very systematic. Second... My BIGGEST complain about this place, which is the fact that I was told we can always do make-ups anytime. My daughter missed two classes and every time I'd call when she has a day off from school to schedule a make-up class, I was told that there was no space. I kept calling and seeking to schedule this on different-spaced weeks (even during the weekdays); and I never ask for same day class, I ask for at least 4 days ahead, and yet I received the same rejection response about having no space to accommodate her. Now the best part is when the cycle was over and we definitely didn't want to renew however we still wanted to have her do the two make-up classes that we had paid for!!!! I was told by the front desk staff that make-up classes need to be scheduled DURING the cycle itself!!!! Once it's over, I can no longer do any make-ups!!! I just said thank you and walked away. Now the fact that we've paid for an entire cycle and I've been chasing Head Over Heels - Parlin to be able to schedule this class and I get this type of response "policy"!!! Is such a disgrace and a true unprofessional way to handle your business. Besides, we were never informed about this "rule" when we were enrolled, I had to find out myself. (Besides, IT IS STILL YOUR PROBLEM and you needed to find a way to accommodate kids after I've called several times). My daughter is also enrolled in Tennis in another facility and even though we stopped going we were warmly welcomed to schedule the make-up class any time any date (we even had the option to call them next year and schedule during summer)!! And they still accommodated us unlike Head Over Heels - Parlin. I don't think I'm ever going back again nor recommending this place to any of my friends. read more

My children had a birthday party at head over heels over the weekend. As sad as I am to say it, it was an awful experience. The children were all between 3 and 6 years old and to my surprise only one parent was allowed in the gym with the children to take pictures. The other parents were excluded on the outside of the glass where they couldn't even see the kids because a big inflatable bounce area was blocking the view. I have grandparents from out of town who were disappointed they couldn't see the kids having fun. I was also upset to find that there was only one party room. The parties were not spaced out enough allow for proper set up and clean up before and after each party. There was no attendant available to help clean the party before ours so my husband and a few other guests at the party were forced to wipe down the tables and had to repeatedly ask for the garbage to be removed from the room. Overall it so poorly run that it ruined the good time. I would definitely not recommend having a party here. read more
