My son who had just started tried a few classes on and off and he found his thing as a hip hop dancer. Both kids love center stage and their teachers too! This is the first time my son is taking any classes, so we weren't sure. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place given the following facts: - The 2 instructors (who take turn) are very strict and cold to the kids. I think younger kids need more attention and need to be encouraged rather than be spoken harshly. My elder 9 year old daughter has been going to an American Tap school for the last 6 years and I have seen the difference. - The place is unkempt. The three Saturday mornings I went, I found the carpet in the lobby to host all kind of trash and never vacuumed. Maybe the place operates on a lean staff and they do not have this covered. But not a good impression to give newcomers especially. - We had a tiff with the center on the fees. We were charged for the trial class even though we weren't told initially that this class would be charged (In my opinion a trial class is normally free unless stated specifically). Upon pointing this out, we were reimbursed the money in again a very cold hostile way. Hope the center realizes its mistakes in dealing with newcomers and takes this review in a positive constructive manner.

So, I was so happy when my LO decided she wanted to go back to Kaye Lynn.. Miss Robin, Miss Jasi, and Miss Mary Alice are awesome! Miss Robin has the energy of someone half her age.. they're so fun and full of excitement and you truly feel as though they really love teaching your children. I mean, I sometimes want to get in there and start dancing! The best thing is, they don't nickel and dime you... if classes are cancelled for whatever reason, they encourage makeups in any of the classes when needed. I love it there and I actually enjoy going there multiple times a week.. and that's a big thing with my schedule. LOL.

Mr. David is silly and friendly, but he still pushes the kids to make sure they become stronger dancers. We do the rec dancing, not competition. At other dance schools, I have felt like the focus is solely on the competition teams, with the rest of the kids just serving as filler. Never the case at Dance Connection! I've also been impressed with how the school began to provide high-end virtual opportunities and socially distant summer camps when this became necessary. They adjusted the common areas in the studio and the classrooms to allow for proper distancing, too. Mr. David worked with the parents to explain the new measures and made sure we feel comfortable. As a new dancer, I have no problems following the choreography, but I still feel challenged. The instructor EJ is great and oh my can he dance. He is patient, professional and charismatic. He is an easy going instructor who gives clear instructions that are easy to follow and has a great sense of humor. His classes are warm and fun and all students regardless of level dance with one another and lend support. As a new member, and without a partner, I was immediately welcomed into the group and made to feel at home and at ease.
