Right from the get go they were really easy to communicate with via email & phone to plan my event. When we entered we were welcomed warmly and everything was explained to us ahead of time. Both Rich and Ethan were very knowledgeable on the subjects of belay rock climbing and bouldering. Give those men a raise! When climbing they help coach you to give you the confidence to make it to the top of the wall. They were the best cheerleaders. They believed in us when we didn't believe in ourselves. A great surprise is that a regular member who was climbing that day brought in their dog Suki. She was so cute and friendly, but she knew not to get in the way of the climbers. My friends and I honestly had the best time and will be returning for the different specials they offer on some weeknights :)

Every morning there's fun music and an enthusiastic guy on the microphone getting everyone pumped up for the day (shout out to that guy - he's awesome!), other staff dancing around, some singing, and all of their enthusiasm is completely genuine. It's really impossible not to smile every morning. The positivity is contagious and it sets the tone for the entire camp. I have to mention the organizational structure too, because I am constantly amazed at their preparation for every day, with every group. This place runs like a well-oiled machine. Every detail has clearly been thought out, and somehow they keep hundreds (thousands??) of kids moving from one age appropriate activity to the next without total chaos. It's very impressive. My daughters are exhausted (in a great way) after their camp day and talking nonstop about everything they got to do. Every single day there's something new they're excited to tell me about. The number of activities is unbelievable. I'm a little jealous sometimes because my childhood summers certainly didn't look anything like this. Lol. I loooove seeing the pics they send of the kids doing cool stuff. My favorite is seeing my little one doing archery. LOVE IT!!! You can tell that everyone who works here has one goal, and that is to make sure these kids have the best summer possible. And they definitely succeed. While many of the positive reviews may reflect genuine experiences, it's also important to consider that current staff and families can feel pressure to remain silent or offer only praise. My intent is not to disparage, but to offer a fuller picture of the internal culture--one that, in our experience, lacks transparency, professionalism, and respect for the very individuals who work tirelessly to support the children. Our son attended Lightbridge Academy of Freehold for two years prior to our family relocating to…read morenorthern Monmouth County. Overall, my wife and I were very happy with this facility and if it were still practical to send our son there, we would. As with any new parents, we were very nervous about picking a daycare as everyone has a horror story. Two things stand out about LB of Freehold which ultimately eased our concerns: 1) The owners care. From day one Vita and Nicole were incredibly welcoming and professional. Not a day went by where we were not met with a friendly greeting. If there was a concern, they were always receptive and willing to set aside time to listen and take action when necessary. 2) The facility was modern (opened around 2015) and very clean. Every night each classroom along with all the toys were cleaned and disinfected. Did our son get sick? Yes, of course he did, it's daycare, but it was not excessive and was not a result of the facility being dirty (I'll hold the commentary on parents dropping off kids that are already sick). The teachers my son had (Infants / mobile infants /1.5-2.5 years) were great. All cared and all were in control of their classrooms and there was no turnover during my son's tenure (Ms Meryl in the infant room was incredibly caring and really helped our sons transition to DC). The owners made good hires. Some turnover was noted at the teacher aide level, but that is to be expected. Finally, and most importantly our son enjoyed being there. He never protested going in the morning and was always happy when we picked him up. Being around other kids on a daily basis has helped him develop socially. This is evident when I see him around other toddlers who have not spent time with their peers. If you have reasonable expectations, this is a great daycare and I would recommend to anyone looking in the Freehold area.
