I've been going here for about a year in a half and became super bummed when they reopened after quarantine to find my stylist Chrissy was no longer there. I have a pixie cut and she did magic. I was recommended to another stylist and after 2 different tries I was just NOT happy with her cuts. This time going in I had a very specific time/date I was able to come in and I selected who was available with their app. Let me just tell you this ended up being the best thing ever for me! Thank you hair gods for putting me in Lauren's chair. He is amazing!!! Ladies if you have a pixie I highly recommend going to him. I gave him a few requests of what I wanted and man he hit things out of the park. It's my favorite cut I've had since going pixie and I've never had so many compliments from everyone. I absolutely LOVE this place. I come to these guys several times a month for a blowout. I have had no less than 10 different stylists and ALL of them have done a great job!! I have gone to several different places, including more expensive options, and never had the quality and or SERVICE that I get at this salon. I have even forgotten an appointment and or thought it was later, and they gave me options to still get my hair done! They even offered to text me before each appointment in the future! LOL!! So yesterday I went to get my hair done by Jose. And let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience!!! Ive been scared in the past and Jose is a life saver!!!! He made my request a reality, and was very helpful with teaching me how to take care of my hair at home and in between appointments. He is a very honest stylist and very professional. When I first moved to the DFW a year ago I decided to give this salon a try because of the reviews. After visiting this salon 5 times, I have seen 5 different stylists because 4 of the 5 have quit and the one that is still there turned my roots red when I went in for an all over color for dark brown (when my hair was already brown, was just going a shade darker). Yes, the products they use are nice (which is what kept me coming) and the girls I saw for the most part did a good job. But I think the very high turnover rate says a lot about the salon and is very frustrating! I feel like this should be known as a deciding factor for anyone contemplating on giving this salon a try. read more

I don't have anything negative to say about my stylist but an inch trimmed off and a couple curls should by no means cost $65.00. When I booked my appointment it stated $45 and up. Well a $20 difference is not in the same ballpark. No product was used and it's not like I had any color done where price would be gauged by my hair length. Greys were not covered by stylist, so I went back in to have them touched up. Someone else colored my hair, hair dye was all over my face. They didn't even try to take it off my face. I tried to do it with my towel. The black dye was all over my forehead neck and ears. I don't mean a little I mean a lot. Not sure if they were upset bc they had to fix my color that the I had already paid for and left a generous tip to later find out the color didn't even take. I WILL never go back to this place and unfortunately I have recommended so many people here. Well, needless to say... stay away bc if you aren't satisfied and they have to fix something you get treated like crap. Even when you pay for the services. Hate writing this review bc I think things could have been handled a whole lot better on their part. read more

It's my birthday next week so I decided to treat myself. I got full highlights by Kristina and a blow out by Brandy. First off I spoke with Kristina about my goal haircolor. I'm going from dark to light so it will be a process. She answered all my questions and was very informative on the steps to lightening my hair and why she was doing this or that. I'm also not native to Fort Worth and she was very friendly and gave me some local information, so I now have new places to explore. She went above and beyond and I am very pleased with the color!! Afterwards Brandy did my blow out and curled my hair in record time! can never get my hair to curl like this and I love it! Both ladies were so sweet and I'm very happy! Being new to Texas I was nervous about trying to find someone new to do my hair. I had always gone to Fantastic Sams so I went there and the girl messed up my hair something AWEFUL! I called around and found this place and WOW what a great experience! I normally go to Alex who fixed my hair beautifully! This time Alex is out of town I think so I booked with another stylist. I really like all of the stylists at HC and truly believe that they are all talented and great at what they do, so no complaints there. I also appreciate the organic and less toxic approach products. My frustration with HeadCase is consistently with the pricing. Their starting costs are quite high to begin with and then they charge for "extra product". The first time I went there, I was charged about $20 for extra product. Of course I didn't realize this until I got home and received my receipt via email. I did push back on that the next time I was there and from then on my extra product charge was closer to $3-$4 each time. Recently I was charged $16 for extra product with no explanation. Again, I didn't realize this until I got home as they never itemize anything when you are standing there, they just announce the total. I have fine hair and never get anything exotic done, just basic color/highlights so it never makes sense to me, it just seems like an arbitrary charge. I have been to many high end salons in my life and have never been charged extra for product. With high starting costs, extra product fees and $35 for toner, be prepared! read more

I just had my first appointment here and loved it. The salon is clean, and really cute. The woman who greeted me was very nice and offered me a drink. They have water, soft drinks, wine... and champagne! Bonus! I got my hair cut by Kenzie. She is very sweet and is confident in what she does (for good reason). I was ready for my spring/summer hair so we cut 6 inches off and did a long bob. I love it! She also does color, if you check out their Instagram you'll see some examples of her work. Found my favorite new salon! I was a walk in customer at this salon yesterday and everyone was so great. They were able to fit me in really quick, no waiting, they offered refreshments and were super polite. My stylist was very friendly and we chatted the whole time which was nice. She did exactly what I wanted, I told her I'm wash-n-go with curly hair and basically I wanted a cut that would be a voluminous as possible, and I feel that is what I got. The salon itself is beautiful, great atmosphere, and I even loved the music (heard some Bowie and Portishead) so I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks ladies! read more

Took my teenage daughter for her first hair coloring experience. They could not have made it more fun, educational and awesome for her. She had a look in mind and the creator talked with her about how she would get her to that color over time but she isn't able to do that light today without causing her hair to become unhealthy. Then the Girl who dried it took time to get to know her and ask her about her. And made her feel absolutely beautiful. You can give girls a lot of things, but confidence is one of the most important gifts! She left with a ton! I went for a deep conditioning treatment and wow! My hair has never felt softer and healthier. I have in the past bleached it and box dyed it black. It was a mess, but slowly it's been feeling better. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and answered my questions honestly instead of giving me false promises. The salon was clean and organized. This is a beautiful salon but it has issues. They have an extremely high turnover rate for stylists. You will be lucky if you don't have to switch every time you make an appointment. I kept trying to give them a chance but after 5 different stylists, I couldn't trust them for doing the color I wanted. Having such a high turnover tells you something is wrong with the management. I'd look elsewhere if you want consistency and not get a new person every time. read more
