I was quoted a simple fee with no add ons, which is great because I like it when things are simple. Drop off was easy. The layout of the shop is an open concept, so you can see all the groomers and the dogs they're working on. Service was pretty fast, and they'll call 15 minutes before the service is complete. The bags were buy one get one half off but after some discussion among the person helping us and another we were told we could only have one bag. Not only did they limit us they had an incredibly bad attitude. It's obvious they just did not want to sell these to us for whatever reason. We called around and found an independent dog food and supply store who said they had plenty of all flavors. We went to this store and they sold us 6 bags and were the nicest friendliest pet store we have been too in a long time. Bogarts lost a customer of many years because of bad and rude attitudes and not wanting to sell us the cookies we wanted even though we know they had them in stock. Don't shop here I don't need attitudes from a store who thinks they are something special. You don't treat employees rudely but I guess if you are rude to customers why wouldn't you be rude to employees as well. But they always have matts, literally every single time I've EVER taken them they've had small mats here and there, but nothing crazy. The work that was done clearly shows the groomer was just lazy and didn't want to take the time to care for my babies. It's not hard to trim and thin out mats, I do it at home all the time with thinning scissors. Yes it's time consuming but that's what I pay for. I've gotten them groomed monthly since I've gotten them and have NEVER had this happen. When messaging them about how upset I was, all they said was that brushing the mats out is too painful and shaving was the "best option". Huh? Just sounds lazy to me. Once you bathe them, trim, you can easily use thinning scissors to take small mats out. This is a clear case of neglect and I'm very disappointed in the response. The blame was put on me 100% which I don't agree with. Be aware!
