We have been customers for years. Our dogs like one particular brand of cookie. Recent months this store has never had them. Today we went in and while the flavor we wanted was not in stock or they say they had another flavor. The bags were buy one get one half off but after some discussion among the person helping us and another we were told we could only have one bag. Not only did they limit us they had an incredibly bad attitude. It's obvious they just did not want to sell these to us for whatever reason. We called around and found an independent dog food and supply store who said they had plenty of all flavors. We went to this store and they sold us 6 bags and were the nicest friendliest pet store we have been too in a long time. Bogarts lost a customer of many years because of bad and rude attitudes and not wanting to sell us the cookies we wanted even though we know they had them in stock. Don't shop here I don't need attitudes from a store who thinks they are something special. Also at The same time we were there we heard an employee who was grooming ask if she could sit and she was told no stay in the back. You don't treat employees rudely but I guess if you are rude to customers why wouldn't you be rude to employees as well. If I owned this place every single person would be fired you won't have a business soon if this is how you deal customers. read more

Very disappointing experience at Bogart's Bakery Grooming. I brought my dog Goldie here for grooming, and the experience was unprofessional from the start. Before drop-off, an employee stormed out of the shop yelling that they "don't get paid enough -- twelve f***ing dollars an hour and someone needs to go watch that dog," referring to a dog waiting to be groomed. That alone made me uncomfortable. When I picked up my dog before closing, nothing was mentioned about any issues during the grooming. However, after getting home, I noticed Goldie had been nicked. I called first thing the next morning to report it. The response I received from management was dismissive and not professional. They even got my dog's name wrong in their reply, which shows a lack of attention to detail or care. For a place that's supposed to prioritize animal safety and customer service, this was really disappointing. I won't be returning, and I'd advise other pet owners to be cautious. read more

We took our Goldendoodle to this place a few months ago and they did a great job of grooming him. Forward to today and I go in and the grooming lady asked me if I want the same thing as last time and I said yes. We go to pick him up and they did some hack job on my dog!!!! I paid $120.81 for that and when I asked the person ringing me up, she stated they shaved him closer than last time. So $90 the first time and then $120.81 the second time for something I did not ask for. If I could return a grooming and get a full refund I would. I have two doodles (11 months, and 5 years old) that had an appointment yesterday 6/4 at 1pm. I bought about $20 worth of the dog treats when I dropped the girls off and when I went to pick them up I was horrified. The puppy was completely shaved, patchy, and looked awful. They have different hair types and the puppy's hair has more straight soft texture and the older one has more curly hair. It was an absolutely lazy job, they didn't even look like the same dogs. When I had a moment to digest the experience I called the business to voice my concerns. I was told that the hair would grow back (obviously) and the groomer said that the puppy had knots. The groomer went on to say he considered taking them to a vet because of the mats. That comment was not only offensive, hurtful but completely unnecessary. There was no customer service exhibited and no resolution suggested, she even commented Jarred is there best groomer. For the puppy I paid $140 plus 30.00 tip for a botched shave job. I will never go back and I hope other potential customers go elsewhere with their loved ones. Proceed with CAUTION! Very disappointed with there grooming services. I took my dog here on July 5th. After scheduling an appointment ahead of time they called me the day of the appointment demanding that I arrive before my scheduled time due to some scheduling issues. Upon arrival I showed the groomer the pictures of my dogs usual haircut. They stated that they could do that and so we moved on with the groom. Once I went to pick her up my dog was shaved down completely. The did such a horrible job. Not only is the cut not even in many places but they cut my dogs belly several times. I come to this place every year for my dog's birthday cake. Their online order form is simple and they always give me a call to finalize everything and double check that my order is accurate. This year I completely forgot to order before my dog's birthday and walked in, hoping to find a cookie or something to get him. Their display case was filled with awesome happy birthday dog biscuits that I was going to get. When I told the employees my situation they were able to rustle up a mini cake and frost it and design it on the spot. They were super helpful, gave me information about my options, and I was able to order the cake and pay for it over the phone. We picked it up two days later the morning of the party and it was all ready for us. I've gotten dog cakes from other places before but this has to be my favorite, it's reasonably priced and the cake wasn't rock solid like others have been, it was fairly soft and easy for the dogs to eat. I took my dogs there to be groomed. We called the next day to express our dissatisfaction on the hair cut. The owner, Rachel, was very argumentative. She said "Well it's just hair and it will grow back". She yelled at us that she had a long day and if we didn't like the job they did to never come back again. All we wanted to do was express our concerns. Never would I expect the OWNER of any establishment treat their customers in that regard. She said she didn't have time for this and hung up on me. I tried placing an order for a cake through their website and the website quotes 24-48 for confirmation. I waited for confirmation but did not hear from them and had to call multiple times to ask on the status. I was well within the time frame for a cake, but they kept giving me the run around and did not call when they said they would. Apparently the baker was off, totally fine, but how would I know when your baker has their day off? As a business you should at least prioritize getting back to the customer.
