Majestic Mutts did a great job with my doggies. We were all nervous for their first haircut but when I went to pick them up they acted like they had a nice time. It was such a relief to me. I was searching high and low for a groomer that would be able to squeeze us in. I started search Friday night at 11:30pm. I searched Facebook in our doodle groups for recommendations; majestic mutts was on there. SUPER EASY booking-No waiting for a call back or anything. I was booked by 11:48pm. Saturday I received a text asking if we can come earlier-happily obliged. The only a person available was Kaitlin. We too eyed this grooming shop and thought the world of them at first. If there were negative stars available though, I would give the largest negative numeral possible. Almost every visit, Davina would gripe about 10 things or another. No matter how much we tipped her, cash I should add, she would constantly dramatize how difficult our Goldendoodles were to groom. Added to this, almost every appointment she would text asking if we could come in earlier than our scheduled appointment time. We obliged each time, despite our very busy work schedules. Every visit Davina would also want to shave to the skin our beautiful girl proclaiming, "she's too matted. I won't break my tools trying to demat her." Finally, we'd had enough. We took our doodle in, early as Davina once again requested, and she claimed to have rescheduled her appointment. I truly was in disbelief. I asked, what happened? The self-proclaimed "owner", Mckenzie, fires back scathing texts gleefully advising us that not only is "she the owner" but if we want to bring our girl back in, she will be fully shaved. Yes you bet I used one adult-language term. Yes, you bet I told her she is no kind of business owner, much less a "business" person. So...take a look at the photo. This is our beautiful angel, after finding a professional, experienced groomer, not even an inch of hair removed. Nice going Mckenzie and Davina. What pros you are. If you're looking for a quick, shave your dog to the skin, this is the right place for you. Summary: make sure to call and confirm prices, procedures, and scheduling before making your decision to book. Don't rely on the website. I debated between 3 or 4 stars, but decided to go with 3. I arranged to bring my boyfriends cat in for a shave. She is a difficult cat, as she is very scared and is not afraid to hiss/swat/bite when she's not happy, but she had some pretty bad matting so we knew we needed to take her in. I saw online that the feline haircut with sedation was a certain price and booked online for a time. They texted me and let me know that they would need to schedule a time with the vet for sedation, so we would have to find a specific time--we rescheduled. At that time I was also told that the price quoted online was not the actual price of the groom, and it can range depending on how easy the cat it. Also, the fee for the sedation was not included online. I went ahead and scheduled it anyways, but was a little turned off that the website quoted inaccurate pricing. On the day of the groom, my boyfriend took the cat in. We didn't realize we needed her vaccination records, and he couldnt remember which vax the cat had and when, so we paid to have the vaccination that day since the vet was able to offer it and we didn't want to reschedule. I'll admit, I wouldn't know if this is standard, but I reviewed the policies and procedures and didn't see that we needed the vaccination records. Otherwise, we could have called the vet prior to get them. They texted me to let me know when the cat would be ready to be picked up, and that they were able to clip her nails. I appreciated the update. But when we got her back, her lions cut was pretty unevenly done. The shave went to different lengths on her legs, and the cut lines were not very even. Again, I know she is a difficult cat, but I was under the impression thats what the sedation was supposed to help with. Overall, our experience was fine but it was a pretty expensive shave--ended up being almost double what we paid last time (granted, the last one was without sedation). I wish the website had included more accurate information so we could have known the details before scheduling. read more

We brought our 9 month old Pyrenees/Bernese mix in for her first professional grooming. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Mackenzie and Davina definitely had their hands full, as Miss Phoebe was a little apprehensive as it was her first time...and by "apprehensive", I mean she plops down and becomes 100 pounds of dead weight!
