Jose came out and was extremely conscientious and discussed ways we could keep the willow if we wanted. He even gave us different quotes to reflect our options. We decided removal was the best choice, and he was flexible in his quote to come closer to other companies I spoke with. The crew arrived right on time and were extremely efficient. I was worried the willow would be difficult to safely take down, but they were very safe in climbing the tree. They also cut the oaks completely back from hanging over our roof, and ground multiple stumps we had around our yard. They were finished in less than 5 hours and cleaned the worksite very well - they even cleared a brush pile we had from some trimming we had done ourselves the week before. I'm very pleased with the work Madriz did, and would absolutely use them again. We have a lot of future projects in mind that they would be a great fit for.

What stood out most was how much he actually knew, he explained why certain trees needed to be trimmed a certain way and at a certain time of year, not just "we'll cut it and see." The crew showed up when they said they would, worked fast without cutting corners, and hauled away all the debris so we weren't left with a mess in the yard. They even took down a couple of overgrown trees and cleaned up some hedges along the fence line, and the whole property looks so much better now. Everyone on the crew was easy to deal with and clearly knew what they were doing. We've already got a couple more trees we want looked at and Cal Line will be who we call.

I love these trees and they were part of why we bought the house. I wanted them to be tastefully trimmed so they look natural while also making sure they're safe and we're not going to have dead branches fall when the rainy season hits. Alejandro's quote was very reasonable, and his brother and the crew was able to do some other tree work with a minimal increase to the baseline quote. They did such a good job I want to have them back to take care of some other trees that I wasn't considering prioritizing, including a shared tree with the neighbor. Thank you for the great work!

Having full coverage and real expertise is critical in this line of work, especially since our trees were right in the backyard and extremely close to the house. We will gladly use Vegas Tree Removal again and will be recommending Jose to all of our friends for any tree trimming or removal needs. Definitely a huge thumbs up from us!

They were on time, courteous, accommodating, and accurate in completing the job on time. They cut down two huge 65-foot eucalyptus trees nudged between two homes with very limited space to work in. Jose, the lead, had four workers on the job at all times. He visited the job to supervise, as well, and also helped on the job. I have to say the climbers were the most impressive. They were both experts in rigging the huge branches so that they would not damage the roof. I was planning to visit the job quickly on the first day and leave until afternoon but ended up staying three to four hours just so I could watch in amazement (and some stress!) how they pulled off the job. But from the start, I knew we were in the hands of experienced professionals who knew what they were doing. The guys worked as a team in total sync and had all the equipment there they needed to get the job done. As far as pricing goes, it was very reasonable for the job. The trees were huge. I shutter to think what might have happened if the job were given to less experienced cutters -- any one of the cuts done incorrectly could have damaged the house, the neighbor's house, or people. I was not the only one who was amazed -- several of the neighbors also came out to say what a great job they thought Vega's had done and told us we had hired the right crew. They wondered, too, how those trees would be cut down safely. Thank you, Vega's, for a job well done. I can now get through El Nino without worrying about those two trees toppling over in a storm. FIVE STARS TO YOU!

The trees always look excellent afterwards but yesterday I had the opportunity to watch them in action as I was working next door. Before starting they tarped all the flower beds underneath the tree so as not to crush the smaller plants with falling branches. The crew was efficient, careful, and impressively quiet. They used pole pruners and had a spotter to help guide the ones in the tree. Their cuts were clean, even, and at the appropriate distance from the remaining branch. Afterward they picked up all the branches and debris that fell over the fence. They did use a blower at the end to clean up smaller debris, but it was amazingly quiet compared to the monstrosities most people use. The tree looks amazing now. The crew were very friendly and respectful, letting me know when they were coming over to clean up since I was working nearby. I have observed many other tree services at work previously and this one by far did the best job of actually caring for the tree, not just hacking it.

He came and explained the entire process and timing to me in detail His crew were all great. Very well trained, very respectful of my property, and very customer focused. Assessed the situation and told me my options for tree removal, just a cut down or cut down + trunk removal. I opted for the latter. Leo double checked if I wanted the hole to be left open where the stump was removed or cover it back up with dirt before they finished the project. I opted for them to cover the hole back up since I'm not ready to put in a new tree. At first, it looked like I could do it. The bottom branches went down easily to a pole saw. Then I had to start climbing ladders, and then onto roofs to reach more branches. Holding a long pole saw overhead while maintaining balance on a roof is dangerous and tiring. On the third day it was time to cut the super high branches. The only way we could do it was with a Arborist sling slot, and alot of rope rigging and a rope saw. It was a headache and the equipment seemed expensive. Thankfully Willy's Tree service drove by and saw us struggling and took pity on us. We negotiated a fair price based on the work we had already done, and what we were quoted from other arborists (which was so high that it lead us to try it on our own originally). He said he would be back in two hours, but actually ended up late. I'm not going to dock any points for this because I knew we were a side job after his main job, and it was spontaneously scheduled. After his other job was over, he came over with his crew, a bucket truck, and a wood chipper that eats 12 inch logs like potato chips. And the entire job was done in the time that it would have taken me to cut 1 branch. At the end of the day, as his crew drove away, I was thankful that they came in and helped at a very fair price.
