We wanted a premium quality update for 20 year-old kitchen, but had a tight budget. After getting some eye-popping bids from contractors that wanted to do everything or nothing, we decided to DIY it and hoped for the best. We looked at all the online, RTA and big box retailers but weren't happy with the combination of quality, price and guidance we found. Fortunately, we came to Kraftmaid Vantage, Pandora and Shaw. Shaw worked with us to DIY what we could and provided help (patiently) when we asked. He had great ideas, but also listened to our ideas. He gave great guidance on configuration, color and countertops. The cabinets were professionally delivered on time. We had one damaged item and the factory didn't cut the oven cabinet correctly. Shaw sorted the problems quickly without issue. We're very happy with Kraftmaid Vantage quality and finish - particularly for about the same cost as online brands and for less than lower quality Kraftmaid product from the big box stores. Shaw also provided guidance on the quartz counter tops and arraged for their installation. His contractors were polite, professional, on-time and did beautiful work. Again, for about the same cost as the box box stores. While we aren't 100% finished (still need to install the range top in the island and some lighting), we are thrilled with the result. The prices were better than we found elsewhere shopping around. My family is beyond pleased with how our kitchen turned out. But, a hinge on one of the cabinet doors broke. I went to the showroom with the broken hinge and Allison, the next generation of the family helped me. She warned that she would have to do some research on the hinge, and would have Quality Cabinets send me a replacement. Less than two weeks later a box arrived with not, one, not two, but six replacement hinges, in case another broke. Talk about going above and beyond- Cox Kitchens is the best.

Alison designed an incomplete bathroom, ordered a sink cabinet that did not have room for plumbing, lied about visiting the job site every day and so had no idea how badly the project was going. Eric the carpenter spent about one day a week at this project, regularly left a mess, did not complete assigned tasks. We paid someone else to complete his work. We are dealing with product issues still--on our own. I would never recommend Cox Kitchen and Bath.

He had an oversized red truck that he was unable to park and probably shouldn't have if he can't park it. We moved to another spot but then decided if patrons could not park in a spot designated for the store they are going to and are so rudely addressed it's not worth our time and money. Good job on losing a sale.

Today my anxiety was high as the many options out there for kitchen cabinets (wall, island and wall), countertops, countertop continuance in lieu of back splash and on is abundant. I had set my mind on one color but entering this store again but not when it was closed allowed for a more open mind to view the models. Of course it would not be me if I didnt make another selection of color choice in cabinet color. I was then paired with Laura whom was beyond helpful. With a few of my many questions she asked Mike about somethings. Mike stated to me, you came in here the last time as he remembered me and said she saw and confirmed the cabinet she wanted right away. Mike knew that part and was confirming to me to not get too confused and stick with what stood out for me. I still liked the Pebble Cabinets but like the darker of the Greige as well. With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

Today I called and received a truck full of enriched soil. The soil is clean as I knew it would be. The driver was such a pro, he drove that big dump truck backwards into a very narrow driveway and not to mention it is an unforgiving city street. LITERALLY,,,, from the time I told him where I needed the soil and the time he was done and I was signing the invoice was under a minute. I gave the driver a $10.00 tip to get himself lunch, unfortunately that's all I had. I was digging for a $20 but came up short. The salesman came out the very next Monday to take measurements and provide me with several options. The install was started on a Friday. Once the install was started I was very impressed that even though it took several days, they never missed a workday. Even when it rained part of the day, the installer worked the other half of the day. No wasted time. I had one minor detail that I wanted fixed (1 upside down spindle). Within an hour of calling the office with my request, the installer was out and made the fix. (Very professional, couldn't ask for better service).

We contacted the…read morecompany and discussed these matters with them before posting this. #1 - Although we are the property/homeowner, you do not have to be home during install. We are nervous homeowners. We took off work to be there. Unlike other construction we have used, Creative has only ONE crew that installs. That weight is on the ONE foreman who will have to take off work unexpectedly. No one showed. #2 - Calls the day of. We were called the morning of and asked "Can they come today?" We felt this "same day" scheduling was very erratic, compared to what we experienced with this company before. #3 - Customers - mark your wires and inform your adjuster. Your buried internet and automower wires are not marked by the Utility company. Inform your adjuster so he/she can help you get these marked. The 3-star rating was a 1-star. The company took time to speak with us about the issues, so we are showing some teamwork. Gary has been there for decades and knows his stuff. The management here - doesn't have time for conversation or empathy. They will throw the paper work back in at you, and you can see that response in their comments to reviews here. Sometime everything legal isn't moral/correct. We aren't sure we will use them again. It just seems sloppy and unorganized for our type of property ownership. I'm sure it would work great for other types of homeowners.
