The hiring manager/interviewer, Bob Lang who is also the Owner , conducted the interview in a manner that was not only unprofessional but also deeply concerning. Throughout the interview, Bob Lang displayed rude, racist, and discriminatory behavior. Bob Lang asked invasive questions regarding my age, personal finances, education, and family history, which were completely unrelated to the job position. Bob Lang also used intimidation tactics involving pictures of weapons such as AR-15's at the place I was to be seated to facilitate the interview. His demeanor was sarcastic and berating, making the entire interaction uncomfortable and inappropriate. It was evident to me that Bob Lang's behavior was motivated by prejudice, as he seemed particularly hostile towards me due to my age and the color of my skin. Additionally, Bob Lang failed to provide adequate details about the day-to-day duties of the position, dismissing my inquiries and insisting that I would only find out on my first day if I were to be hired. After such a distressing encounter, I left the interview feeling discriminated against, disrespected, and uncertain about the company culture. Consequently, I have decided to decline any opportunity to work at Bobby's Pottys. I cannot in good conscience support a business that condones such unethical and discriminatory practices in its hiring process. Bob Lang had a few seconds on CBS news and expects you to kiss as* in order to get a job cleaning up poo. Bob Lang's ego is very big for someone so weak minded. I Pray for his wife and kids so they won't have to deal with his ignorance.

The crew that did the demo and build of the new deck were Nate and Tim, they were the nicest contractors we've ever worked with. Nate offered us excellent suggestions when we were undecided and took the time to draw it out so we could visualize it. The guys cleaned up my entire yard and left nothing behind, I was actually sorry to see them go. I have to give credit to the roofer Dale who went above and beyond for me, especially on a cold and windy day. The building inspectors also commented on the great work LP Homes did. We set up an appointment for the following day and he arrived on time. He was charismatic, knowledgeable and professional. He emailed me within 24 hours with an estimate and I sent in my deposit electronically shortly thereafter. But it seems once they had my money they no longer felt they needed to respond promptly. I waited 10 days with no follow up and then began calling their office. Occasionally someone answered and took a message, mostly my calls went straight to voicemail. I also tried contacting them through emails, also with no response. After 2 more weeks of leaving word with a spotty receptionist, voicemails and emails the owner, Sarath Jerome, finally called me back, more than 3 weeks after I gave his company a deposit. A team of 4 or 5 men came the following day and completed most of the work. They promised to return the next week to complete the job. They asked for 2/3 of the total cost of the project before they left and we wrote them a check. A week passed and no one returned to complete the job or to even follow up by phone or email. So once again i began calling and emailing with no response. 10 days after they worked on our project I finally got an email from the owner saying he was busy and had just then begun reviewing his emails. He said he would get back to me. Another week or so passed before he returned my email and said someone would be at our house to finish the job on June 30. I prepped the space for the work and nobody showed up. By 1:00 pm I called and emailed to find out what was going on. Jerome replied half an hour later and said that his employee would be at my home by 3:00. No one ever showed up. I emailed Jerome around 5 and asked what happened. He said his guy got caught up on a job and could he come the next day @ 10:00 a.m.?Jerome said he would be there as well. Angry and frustrated but just wanting my project finished, I agreed. No one showed up the following day either. I sent Jerome an email around noon again and inquired as to where he and his employee were. I never got a response. I sent him an email the following day and expressed my annoyance. He has never gotten back to me. We have a friend that is a contractor who was too busy to do the job but who came over to look at what Old Bay Remodeling had done. He said he didn't think the work was up to code and could potentially be a hazard. My recommendation to anyone thinking about using Old Bay Remodeling is not to use this company. They were recommended by Angi's List, so i assumed they were fully vetted. What a mistake that was!
