I called to learn more about the sample I received and the man that answered the call was knowledgeable and helpful. I drove from DC to Arnold to go and look at additional pieces of the tile. The team on sight pulled out an entire box for me and laid it out for me to review and choose grout samples. I appreciate the team here and would definitely return.

I had kept the original sample and when I got the actual floor I laid out a few pieces to check the color....seemed okay. After the floor was installed I noticed raised bumps on the entire floor and it looked dirty. The owner came out and tested the floor and said it was probably grout haze and suggested a cleaner. The cleaner didn't change the bumps or haze. Over the next 3 months we have been back and forth with the owner a few times, a rep even came by and said she couldn't see a problem despite the difference from the original sample to what I received that I showed her. She claimed she saw not problem. I contacted the owner via text and explained the experience and was never answered. I had suggested that the tile was possibly defective in my note. I was aware there might be a health problem in his family so I let a month go by and still never heard back. I called again this week and said I just wanted to find a solution even if it was other tile cleaners to try. He would never address/admit or take responsibility for the tile looking defective. Despite knowing I have an example of original sample and what was delivered. I think it is not good business to not stand by your product. I have since had another local company look at the sample and installed floor and they agree the tile is defective but Atlas has just dismissed the whole thing. Now I have a floor that is not what I purchased and was told it was not their problem. The other issue with the company is you do not stick with the same sales person through the selling process. This results in one person not taking responsibility for your purchase. I experienced just a bunch of people pointing fingers at each other and not taking responsibility for the sale to their customer. I would never recommend this company.

Today my anxiety was high as the many options out there for kitchen cabinets (wall, island and wall), countertops, countertop continuance in lieu of back splash and on is abundant. I had set my mind on one color but entering this store again but not when it was closed allowed for a more open mind to view the models. Of course it would not be me if I didnt make another selection of color choice in cabinet color. I was then paired with Laura whom was beyond helpful. With a few of my many questions she asked Mike about somethings. Mike stated to me, you came in here the last time as he remembered me and said she saw and confirmed the cabinet she wanted right away. Mike knew that part and was confirming to me to not get too confused and stick with what stood out for me. I still liked the Pebble Cabinets but like the darker of the Greige as well. With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

Even though I got back to her after couple of months, she honored the estimate that she had given to me earlier. She even went out of her way to get me in touch with a contractor to help prep the existing cabinets before installing the granite countertops. 2) The guys from AGS were all very good and extremely polite. They put drop cloths on the floor and made sure to clean up any messes before they left. 3) I was a bit unsure of how AGS would be after reading their Yelp reviews (since I had placed the order before reading the reviews). But I have to say that they did not disappoint me at all in terms of pricing and services. 4) Last but not the least, their store has two big cats. They steal away all the show and are super adorable.

I wish…read moreI'd paid closer attention to the red flags before I put down a deposit, because things went downhill as soon as they had my money.   Throughout the entire process I felt like I was never given the information I needed, and my questions repeatedly went unanswered even after bringing them up multiple times. The templater only measured half the project and then AGS blamed me for it. Never in my wildest dreams would I even think about blaming a client for one of my people not having everything they need to do the job, and they then doubled down in wholly unprofessional late night email I was told "he's not a mind reader lol" and that I was supposed to tell him what to do. I don't expect anyone to be a mind reader, I expect AGS to provide its people with basic information such as the current scope of the project, AGS apparently feels that's not their responsibility.  Scheduling installation was awful. Multiple people reaching out and it's not clear if they were communicating with each other at all. AGS wound up having to reschedule but then the second person scheduled us for a time when I specifically said I wasn't available. I would have rescheduled again but by this point I just wanted these people out of my life as soon as possible so I rearranged my schedule to make it work. My questions about what to expect on installation day were never answered, again, even after following up multiple times. This resulted in confusion around payment which could have been easily avoided if they'd just answered my questions literally at all ever.

We also recently discovered Second Chance, which we thought was awesome. So, we were excited when we found out about this place. The amount of wood that they had was amazing! It was a fantastic assortment of different quality kinds of wood, at very reasonable prices! They have a great selection of items that you might need for your home, whether you are remodeling, or just looking to add a few new pieces to your decor. I did not realize until I looked at their website that they have a $10 per year membership fee. However, for the quality of items you get at such amazing prices, it's definitely worth it to support a great non-profit.

Also, they take checks and value privacy;-) Just by looking at their video shorts, I wish that I could make trips there with my children, but "when life gets busy" time flys by. I get a chuckle when I see their staff of 2-4 at a time refer to things I grew up with "as antiques," but I guess they are. Everything is "back in style" every 25+ years, so if it's "Stinkin' Cute" don't be afraid to try it! Their "customer service staff" is delightful and outstanding++ as they have been from the beginning! I could spend hours (as one of their staff members has suggested in a video short), but my family would officially think "I had gone missing". (that's a "joke" in case you've lost your sense of humor these days) As an ex-fed, I'm thankful that I'm a member of the very "inexpensive annual $10 donation of product" team. It breaks my heart when I see people tear up old homes on some, but not all TV Reno shows. The next time my contractor is able to work here, I'm going to recommend that they take all of their "unused but still good materials here". Thankfully, TLD (at 2 N. Kresson St., in Baltimore, MD 21224) sells fantastic products from "what was truly back in the day" at Extra Low Prices. Such a small staff, still running fast. Give them a call, their phone # is 1-410-558-3625. They are open every day but Sunday. They also host great community building events, check out their calendar! Can't say enough good about them. I keep hearing over and over about "new trends and changes" but ~ TLD is a BEST Representation of how Old can consistently be made New again. Thanks to You and the Staff for being "consistent in your values" from the beginning of your time in Baltimore, regardless of who you are and what level of status you have achieved.

K G Tile is one of those local family-owned businesses that is an increasingly rare breed these days. They have a great showroom selection, good prices, and much higher quality than you'll find at that big box store whose name starts with an L and rhymes with "toes." Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable, and they treat you with the same courtesy no matter how big or small your tile job is. If you need your tile right away, they have an excellent variety of in-stock tile (and about every other month, it's on sale for 25% off). From start to finish, the team delivered outstanding workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail that truly exceeded expectations. A special thank you to the owner, Igor, whose leadership and commitment to quality were evident every step of the way. He kept the project moving smoothly, communicated clearly, and made sure every detail was done right. Igor's team of experts are pure masters in their craft. While they are all exceptional, I have to specially recognize a few of the incredible team members who made this remodel such a success. Illia -- the "house whisperer" -- seemed to have a plan and solution for everything. No challenge was too complicated, and his craftsmanship and problem-solving skills were remarkable. Kay -- I affectionately nicknamed "Special K" -- brought both skill and positivity to the project every day, making the process enjoyable while ensuring the work was completed with precision and care. And Roman, who handled the bathroom tile, did absolutely beautiful work -- the finished space looks like something out of a design magazine. Remodeling can be stressful, but Kitchen Masters made the process organized, collaborative, and surprisingly smooth. The quality of the finished condo speaks for itself, and it's clear this team takes pride in their craft. If you are considering a remodel and want a contractor who is reliable, talented, and genuinely cares about the final result, I highly recommend Kitchen Masters, LLC. I am thrilled with my new space and grateful to this exceptional team.
