Today my anxiety was high as the many options out there for kitchen cabinets (wall, island and wall), countertops, countertop continuance in lieu of back splash and on is abundant. I had set my mind on one color but entering this store again but not when it was closed allowed for a more open mind to view the models. Of course it would not be me if I didnt make another selection of color choice in cabinet color. I was then paired with Laura whom was beyond helpful. With a few of my many questions she asked Mike about somethings. Mike stated to me, you came in here the last time as he remembered me and said she saw and confirmed the cabinet she wanted right away. Mike knew that part and was confirming to me to not get too confused and stick with what stood out for me. I still liked the Pebble Cabinets but like the darker of the Greige as well. With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

REICO charged me $600 for the dishwasher installation. BUT- the person who installed the dishwasher had absolutely no clue what he was doing. First, he told me that the wrong parts were sent. I spent four months arguing with Miele over this. Turns out- the right part had been sent originally! Then, the guy installed my dishwasher and in the process of installing the kickplate, knocked out the electrical wire. Miele had to come do a service call even before the dishwasher was installed. All in all, I spent SEVEN MONTHS before I had a working dishwasher.

The design people we met were excellent, and gave us the vision we sought (we had a general idea of what we wanted, and they ran with it to give us a complete vision). What surprised us, is that their price quote for the materials and services to execute on the vision. We got new cabinets, new stainless steel appliances, and new granite counters. They came in under our budget. The crew they sent in was fantastic. A group of brothers, they worked hard, and delivered craftsman level attention to our kitchen. They weren't just "banging it out", but treated us like it was their kitchen. I was really surprised, and really impressed. The huge surprise came just this morning, 2 months later. The new fridge seemed to be leaking water. I called the Reico shop to get a number for the Maytag service line (figuring it was under warranty I should call them), but the Reico guys came out in under 10 minutes, identified the problem as a simple cracked valve, replaced it, apologized, and told us to call if anything else goes wrong. These guys are awesome. Great product, great price, and 5 star customer service. I told Bryon (our Reico rep) that he could take pictures of our kitchen no problem, and if he wanted a reference to just say the word. He appreciated that and said I should just write a good online review if I am that pleased. No problem Bryon, this is my honest and heartfelt review. Anyone getting a kitchen remodeled should visit Reico. You will be happy with the results.

It took a very long time to receive our countertop. But, that's probably normal in this day and age of COVID19. So, it is what it is. When the countertop arrived, the sink hole was cut in the wrong location. So, it went back to the shop. They offered to take my new sink with them, for measurement and they'd also install it for me. 2 weeks, they said. Cool. Remember these details for later. When they left, my kids found a screw in the driveway where their truck was parked. This happens so often with contractors, I wonder why all of them don't sweep your driveway with one of those magnetic sweeps. It took a lot longer than 2 weeks, but again COVID.  Their appt was scheduled for 11-2, they arrived around 2:30. But, the countertop was gorgeous. So they put it down and start screwing it in. I asked them to apply liquid nails first. They should have done this automatically. Then, they forgot to bring my sink back. I called the owner and he said "I don't know how I'm gonna get it to ya". It's a Friday. About 4 pm when they finally leave. Since I wanted to have a sink over the weekend, I drove to his place, 45 minutes away, to pickup my own sink (they refused to install it like they said they would, and said it would have been a 'courtesy', like they were doing me a favor). So I get home to install it, and discover parts are missing. The parts (bolts, nuts, clips) were wrapped in the instructions (can you say 'rip'?). They sure weren't like that when they took the sink. Two clips were missing. Let's recap: a long wait for my counter, a bad cut, they promise to install my sink, another long wait, they were very late, they try to take short-cuts and don't install the liquid nails, I had to spend 45 minutes of my time and gas money to pickup my own goddam sink from their office, only to find they some of the parts which sent me out to several hardware stores looking for something similar. A fair dealer would provide some discount as a good business practice. No discount, but I did get a great big smile when the owner told me the promise to install the sink was a 'courtesy'. Even. though. they. didn't. But, and here's what makes this all ok. They gave me a tube of DAP white kitchen and bath caulking. I was so excited. What a great bunch of guys.
