So, I went through 7-8 contractors to ensure I got the right one. I eventually picked Rollins. I'm so happy that I chose them to do the job because the guys were precise, and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed their job. That showed up in the work. The roof looks terrific. There is no sign of shoddy workmanship. Everything is crisp and sharp. I genuinely feel like I got excellent value for the money--I rarely feel that way. Yes, replacing a roof was expensive, but it was worth it because I no longer have the stress of whether or not the old slate roof will fail. Now, I can think about more important things in life and just get on with it. That alone was worth the investment. I will work with Rollins & Associates again and recommend them to friends and family.

I would not recommend Jett Plumbing based on my experience…read more I hired Jett Plumbing to inspect a sewer issue at my home and paid $350 for the initial inspection. When it came time to address the problem, there was confusion within their own team about where the damaged pipe was actually located. A second visit and additional locating work were arranged because they were unable to clearly identify the location of the damage from the original inspection. During the follow-up visit, it was determined that the problem was not with the main drain line, but with a single pipe serving the basement bathroom. After discussing the situation with the plumber and contractor, I was told that repair was unnecessary if the bathroom was rarely used. I was advised to periodically run the sink and toilet to keep the P-traps from drying out. I therefore decided not to proceed with unnecessary work. There was no signed contract, written estimate, or other documentation authorizing the additional work or establishing that I would be responsible for the locating company's fee. Nevertheless, the owner subsequently demanded payment for the additional visit and became increasingly confrontational when I questioned the charge. The correspondence became particularly concerning when the owner told me, "you'll regret it." I found that statement completely inappropriate in a dispute over a plumbing bill. He later clarified that he did not intend it as a threat, but that does not change how inappropriate and unsettling the statement was in the context of the conversation. I ultimately sent $225 through Zelle just to end the dispute and move on, despite continuing to disagree with the charge. What should have been a straightforward plumbing inspection turned into a frustrating experience involving an apparently unclear initial assessment, additional diagnostic work, a billing dispute, and an unnecessarily confrontational exchange with the owner. My biggest takeaway: get absolutely everything in writing before allowing Jett Plumbing to perform additional work. Make sure the scope of work, price, diagnostic charges, locating fees, and responsibility for additional visits are clearly documented beforehand. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not use Jett Plumbing again.

My family & I were very pleased by the work we had done by Remodel Max. Shout out to Wayne, Dennis,…read moreMadison, Mitch, Brennen (sp?), & Nick. I was seeing signs in our 75 year old house that indicated to me that the house might have been sinking, so we called out several contractors to inspect our foundation. My husband & I were out of our element. We suspected there was something very wrong with the house, but we didn't know to what extent there was (or wasn't) damage, we didn't know what it would take to get each issue fixed, & we had no idea how much it would cost. I asked each contractor to bring a structural engineer along for the inspection, & Wayne was the only one who was willing to accommodate my request. The other contractors either felt that I needed to get my own structural engineer (to create a design that they could bid on), or that our situation didn't warrant a blueprint design of any kind - which gave us the impression they were just going to "wing it." We really felt our situation required a contractor to work in tandem with a structural engineer from the start. We did not feel comfortable hiring our own structural engineer to create a design that the contractor could potentially disregard halfway through repairs. It felt too risky for us to do a Design-Bid-Build contract. We wanted someone invested from start to finish. Afterall, this was not just a bathroom remodel, a hardscape, nor just an addition. It was an exceedingly complicated repair to the structural integrity of my existing home. Wayne was the only contractor who could see the extent to which our first floor joists & main triple beam were deteriorating, was able to list the myriad of serious issues we had, & in each way it needed to be repaired correctly. He was very thorough in his inspection before even talking about an estimate with hard numbers. It required 2 visits to the house, & paying a "Good Faith" fee for the structural engineer's time before we were able to get an estimate - But that's how it works with structural engineers, & we were grateful to have someone taking our situation as seriously as it truly was. The repairs to the house required us to move out of our house while Wayne's crew rebuilt our entire first floor, including jacking up & re-leveling the house. It was arguably one of the most difficult tasks they may have taken on. It required jacking up our second story, while demolishing the first floor floor, the joists, the triple beam & replacing it all. Think about it: How do you replace the first floor of a house without the second floor crashing down on top of you? How do you do it while leaving the second floor intact? Mitch & his crew handled it well, to put it lightly. Each one of them went the extra mile & took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. It took a lot of coordination between many people for us to move out & have the house ready for Mitch & his crew to get started. They were all extremely communicative, professional, & down-to-earth. We felt confident in their abilities throughout the repairs, & we are confident our new first floor will last us another 100 years. Ps. Sorry this review took so long, Dennis. But a promise is a promise.

This is a great company to deal with and I highly recommend them!!!…read more We were having issues with our guest bathroom tiles coming loose and Wayne from Remodel Max came out, gave a fair estimate, walked me through the work they would doing, and offered suggestions for the best job possible. This was our 2nd time using Creative Deck. This review is for customer awareness. We contacted the…read morecompany and discussed these matters with them before posting this. #1 - Although we are the property/homeowner, you do not have to be home during install. We are nervous homeowners. We took off work to be there. Unlike other construction we have used, Creative has only ONE crew that installs. That weight is on the ONE foreman who will have to take off work unexpectedly. No one showed. #2 - Calls the day of. We were called the morning of and asked "Can they come today?" We felt this "same day" scheduling was very erratic, compared to what we experienced with this company before. #3 - Customers - mark your wires and inform your adjuster. Your buried internet and automower wires are not marked by the Utility company. Inform your adjuster so he/she can help you get these marked. The 3-star rating was a 1-star. The company took time to speak with us about the issues, so we are showing some teamwork. Gary has been there for decades and knows his stuff. The management here - doesn't have time for conversation or empathy. They will throw the paper work back in at you, and you can see that response in their comments to reviews here. Sometime everything legal isn't moral/correct. We aren't sure we will use them again. It just seems sloppy and unorganized for our type of property ownership. I'm sure it would work great for other types of homeowners.

I would highly recommend against using this company…read more I was given a reasonable quote from them for a new fence for my yard, so that my dog can play without getting out. I decided to go ahead and signed a contract and scheduled the work. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time, however this is about all that went well. The fence was installed very sloppily with several issues. I immediately tried to resolve these issues with creative deck design, however they argued and refused to do anything. They will not stand by their work at all, and will instead insist that it was the best that they can do. Eventually the issues were resolved with my fence, after several months repeatedly asking them to resolve the issues. However I can't give any better review because these issues should have never been there in the first place. Additionally when if issues did arise, they should have been addressed rather than trying to avoid fixing it. For anyone else considering this company, please read the reviews and pay attention to the bad reviews. There is a common theme amongst all of them, these aren't just bad reviews from people not getting their way. I've also put two pictures of their workmanship up, it will speak for itself.
