The workers wore their masks properly, but no gloves. They were handling dangerous resins or other chemicals with their bare hands which is not healthy. I provided them with gloves to properly finish the job.

I recently purchased kitchen cabinets (Waypoint) and granite countertops from Baltimore Granite and…read moreI highly recommend them! Kelly's and Emily's service from when I first walked into the showroom until our last email after the bill was paid was quick, personable, smooth and they made it easy. They had a great selection of granite to choose from and the costs were less than what I had seen in other spots since I was purchasing direct without going through a designer or contractor. They were patient with all of my many questions! Although the project was delayed by 4 months because of the pandemic, Kelly was very patient with rescheduling everything. The staff that came to my home for both the measuring and install were highly professional. Even the local Baltimore delivery company that delivered the cabinets (CDS) had great service. Granite and cabinets both arrived with no defects at all, and look great. Even if you live in Baltimore city it is worth the drive to their show room!

AGS was recommended to me by Leah's Painting Service, who did my kitchen cabinet painting job. Her…read moreprofessional recommendation was very convenient and I can tell why she prefers to work with them: it was so easy to schedule appointments, they had a huge selection of beautiful materials, the entire process took fewer than 3 weeks from quote to install, and they were precise and efficient. My kitchen reno is still in progress but I had to share a photo of the counter; I'm just gagged by how lovely it is. I was worried about my existing backsplash getting damaged but the install crew removed the old counter and put in the new one with practically no damage at all. They were fast, clean, and maneuvered everything into place in my kitchen in about 2 hours. I'm so impressed and already dreaming of how I'd love them to do my bathroom counters next!

Working with AGS was the single most frustrating experience I've ever had with a contractor. I wish…read moreI'd paid closer attention to the red flags before I put down a deposit, because things went downhill as soon as they had my money.   Throughout the entire process I felt like I was never given the information I needed, and my questions repeatedly went unanswered even after bringing them up multiple times. The templater only measured half the project and then AGS blamed me for it. Never in my wildest dreams would I even think about blaming a client for one of my people not having everything they need to do the job, and they then doubled down in wholly unprofessional late night email I was told "he's not a mind reader lol" and that I was supposed to tell him what to do. I don't expect anyone to be a mind reader, I expect AGS to provide its people with basic information such as the current scope of the project, AGS apparently feels that's not their responsibility.  Scheduling installation was awful. Multiple people reaching out and it's not clear if they were communicating with each other at all. AGS wound up having to reschedule but then the second person scheduled us for a time when I specifically said I wasn't available. I would have rescheduled again but by this point I just wanted these people out of my life as soon as possible so I rearranged my schedule to make it work. My questions about what to expect on installation day were never answered, again, even after following up multiple times. This resulted in confusion around payment which could have been easily avoided if they'd just answered my questions literally at all ever.
