Then the cabinets took longer than a 3-day delivery because of the day I ended up ordering it on. The cabinets also arrived late on delivery day. Bud told me there was traffic. The guys end up telling me it was because they were short staff. I love honesty....no need to lie. So, my contractors ended up waiting around for 3 hours...not fair to them. PRO: Bud tried to make it up to me. A couple of pieces did not come in and I ended up needing an additional filler that he did not charge me for. I also ended up having to order another filler and that came in a timely manner and I picked it up from their showroom. Overall good experience, just need to tighten up ordering and delivery.

I stopped by United Granite for a quote on a countertop for my kitchen renovation. I didn't select…read morethis company to install the Quartz countertop I wanted. But I had a great experience with Hien Tran, a design consultant. He walked me through the store to view the Calacatta Bravo and Calacatta Miraggio. I was initially interested in the Calacatta Luccia, a higher price point. I showed Hien the backsplash I wanted and he suggested the Calacatta Bravo and Calacatta Miraggio these designs would not clash with my backsplash. Hien gave me a quote and a sample piece of the backsplash at no charge. He gave me the estimated installation time which was about 3 - 10 business days. I ended up selecting another vendor because United Granite's prices were $300 more expensive. Again, I had a great experience and wanted to share. I think United Granite should offer quotes online, most vendors I checked offered that service. That way you don't waste anyone's time if their prices were not in my budget.

Sam (salesperson) is manipulative, a scammer and a liar. I…read morecontracted for granite countertops. The first negotiation went fine. The person who came out and measured told me that I didn't need supports for an additional extention of about 2". in the office Sam said I had to have two supports and they were $500 a piece. I didn't need them and that was a terribly inflated price. Then came the addition of a plumber. I think this should have been covered under the install. I paid him $600 to have a licensed plumber come and unhook sink and stove and then return and turn them back on later in the day. The plumber didn't show up to unhook sink and stove. So the installers had to do that. They weren't happy with that responsibility. A little while later Sam, the scammer showed up. He came to get payment for the plumber- in CASH! When he saw that I had a gas stove, he said "That's not plumbing, you should have told me." I said "of course it is, and you do installs, it was your job to ask." I said, "Since he didn't show up to unhook, I'll only pay you half." He said "Oh no, you are paying me for the job and they did it.". Then he said "Because it's a gas stove, it's $700." I said then just leave it and cancel the plumber. I don't care if it takes weeks before I can get a plumber to hook it back up. I am so done with you. A little while later he said "How about $650." All I wanted was him gone at that point. I finally agreed to get it over with. As the installers were leaving I told them I hoped they would get payment for stove and sink. They said they wouldn't. Sam is not a good person. I would not recommend him at all. Buyer beware!

When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

This contracting company actually has several locations in the DC area. They are all run by the…read moresame corporation. The one I used is in Alexandria, off Edsal Rd. They seem nice, the interior designer is top notch.. however after signing the contract(30 pages mostly covering thier @ss) and paying them 8,000 dollars they have yet to start on the date they quoted me. I know there are issues with ordering the cabnets and having all on hand.. the start date on the contract has come and gone. They also lack communications with the customer by the project manager. Aparently they lost my project in thier project managment software until I called ans asked why they failed to show up on the date they gave me after several consultations and two site inspection with the project manager. My recomendation might change but so far, I am underwhelmed, and a bit concerned on this company doing a job I have paid TOP DOLLAR for.

The installation team came several days later. They did an absolutely fantastic job. It was done in a clean way, they are a pleasure to work with and they asked all of the important questions to make sure that they installed it just as we would want. The price quoted was extremely reasonable. We paid 1/2 up front and the balance after installation. I am completely satisfied. We now may change the backsplash. They don't supply the tile which we will have to purchase after living with the new granite. If we decide to change the backsplash also, they will certainly be the ones to remove what we have and install the new. I have no reservations working with them and found the communication to be excellent.
