This can be totally overcome my ordering online! Great restrictions in place in regards to following the guidelines for COVID19; with only 3 people allowed in the store. We got: 1. Lox & Cream Cheese on Sesame Seed Bagel: This was yummy! The bagel itself was very similar to the ones from Montreal. I hope to find a little more lox on the bagels in the future though 2. Montreal Smoked Meat on a Everything Bagel: This is definitely my fave. Get this if you're a fan of the sandwich. The only downside is that the menu up on the wall is super tiny so I had to whip out my phone to hurriedly find their menu.

This particular bagel chain has 4 different locations within the city where their menu offers bagels to go, bagels with spreads, salads, cream cheese tubs, as well as deli bagel and classic bagel sandwiches. The bagels are made fresh in the store daily. I've been to this particular location many times to pick up bagels to go where I often get half a dozen. The bagels don't come cut so I usually cut them when I get home and place them in the freezer until I'm ready to eat them (pop in the toaster!). The bagels have a slight chew to them and my favourite is the sesame bagel. Service is always friendly and there is a wide selection of bagels to choose from. The place is casual and there are a few tables for you to enjoy your bagel sandwiches, however, this location is more of a grab and go kind of place. Overall, I enjoy coming to Bagels on Fire and definitely will be returning if I'm in need of more Montreal-style bagels in the city!

To be honest, their plain cream cheese wasn't my favorite and I was hoping it'd be fluffier, but that's just my preference so can't complain. I really enjoyed the fresh juices and smoothie options too - I wanted to try them all, but went with the classic OJ. The coffee was good - nothing to write home about. The people who helped me (I had about three workers help) were very kind. In particular, since I was visiting, I wanted to take several home and he carefully packaged them up for me (although, they ended up getting completely smushed in my carry on - #WorthIt). They also had pastries but I wasn't interested in those - your typical croissant, cookies, etc. The ambiance was just a typical shop/deli. I can't wait to come back and try a hot breakfast bagel sandwich next time - those looked great! Bonus - (not pictured) they have day old bread for a discounted price. I wanted that too, but no more space in my luggage; what a steal!

My fav thing to order is the all dressed bagel with the spinach light cream cheese. The old owners used to be more generous with the cream cheese...it would ooze out when you tried to eat it. The new owners are more stingy with the cream cheese and the bagels arent fully toasted. I got one today and it looks that i need to ask for double toasted next time. Their coffee is ok, they provide brown sugar which is a bonus. I generally go to the second cup next door because the coffe is stronger, but albeit more expensive. They also have a loyalty card but I never bothered with that since I don't go there that often. If you have a craving for bagel with cream cheese, this is the place to go.
