I have been here two times when I was in Peoria. Great service and the food was excellent. They did accommodate some changes in my order. Friendly staff. Parking is good, they do share a parking lot in a shopping center. The taste, amount, and price was all in line with quality service. I will come back here again when I am in the area. I did recommend this place to some friends that were coming to the area. They did eat here and said it was great also.

This place was packed last Sunday afternoon. Glad it isn't right now...

Had a very nice server who made sure we had everything we needed. My husband was happy he could order breakfast all day there. My daughter and I shared the BBQ Chicken Salad and it was very good. Kids were happy with their pancakes...lol why wouldn't they with one chocolate chips and the other blueberries. I had a bite of each too. Yummy.

We loved our breakfast at Haymaker! It's a nice bright space that was enjoyed by a happy morning crowd. They have early bird specials that begin at 7am. We arrived at 8:30 and the dining room was hopping. This was one of the best omelets I've had and the biscuits, made there, were also excellent. Karen was our server and she was efficient and authentic in her kindness. We will definitely be back!

I was nearby the area so decided to stop here for breakfast and Sunday morning. The weight wasn't too long and we got seated right away. The menu is expensive during breakfast lunch and dinner. I got chicken and waffles which were pretty much candy and waffles. We also got the cheesecake, strawberry pancake. Overall, everything was just OK. A little bit pricey for the quality of food. The three stars is for the good service that we had received. I may come back and try their lunch menu. The ambience was upscale diner vibe.

Let me start by saying I really want to like Haymakers for breakfast. It is a good location at 4 corners in Peoria and I have now visited there a couple of times. But once again this morning was extremely disappointing. I ordered chicken fried steak, gravy, biscuit, scrambled eggs and fried potatoes and the only thing worth eating was the eggs. The steak was the thinnest piece of (meat?) I have ever seen and look at the picture where the breading doesn't even stay on the meat (clearly a frozen piece of something). The gravy had clumps of what looked like flour and was tasteless. The biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck and the "fried potatoes" were clearly fried right out of a frozen bag. Come on Haymakers you can try a little harder to give customers something they can stomach. To top it all off I asked the server if there was a manger and she said we don't have one until 11 AM (clearly inmates running the prison with no quality control). At least the server took care of the bill. This is one of the worst breakfast experiences I have had in Arizona. If I could give zero stars I would. "FIMP" Food is my Passion

1. First Impressions: The restaurant has a nice shaded patio with misters for outdoor seating. Inside is clean, and cool, with a warm elegance that exudes pride in the statement, God Bless America 2. Service: Our server was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. She gave great menu recommendations. 3. Food/Product/Experience: The food here is fire! We came for the bloody mary and we stayed for the Brisket Skillet! The brisket was fire and rivals the quality of Little Miss BBQ! The kids meal pancakes came with 3 massive pancakes! 4. Pricing: The pricing is fair and the portions are large! Bonus tip, make sure to sign up for the reward app! We received a $10 reward for signing up.

It's the first time we visited this new location. The wait wasn't that long 10 to 15 minutes. Josh was an awesome server always checking on us. The food on the other hand. My wife ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket was full of flavor the barbecue sauce was fantastic. I ordered the French dip sandwich. The sandwich lacked a flavor. I ordered the onion rings to go with it. The onion rings reminded me of Jack in the Box. We ordered a side of mac & cheese. mac & cheese was really disappointing. It reminded me of Kraft mac & cheese, they could've added shredded cheese on top and it came out lukewarm. The ambience is very loud.

Biscuit, Gravy & Eggs

Nice modern dining room. They do need to figure out a way to control the relentless afternoon/evening sun. The service is pretty decent. We ordered biscuit, gravy and eggs 4/5 and country fried steaks 4.5/5. Good beer, wine, and cocktail options.

California Omelette

First time here and I am already loving this choice for my birthday breakfast. Let's see how they deliver. Our party of 3 were seated right away. Kristin, our server is on point and about business. She took our drink orders and gave us time to decide on our meals. We all chose the California Omelette. One subbed tomatoes for spinach. Two chose hash browns and one country potatoes. I was very pleased with my food. The seasoning was good. The toast was just right. The hash browns were overflowing so didn't finish them. The orange juice was very good according to my daughter. The restroom was clean and neat! Five stars!! This location is locked in for a return visit. The decor is light and airy. I appreciate the brightness. There's a nice covered outdoor area.

Mac and cheese, very watery, I don't recommend.

Sadly the quality of the food has gone down and it was never that spectacular to begin with. The meatloaf is dry, everything we was ordered was legitimately cold, not even room temp. Clearly everything down to the salmon isn't freshly cooked to order. The kids mac and cheeses were noodles in some sort of liquid cheese soup. Extremely disappointing as we don't have a lot of restaurants near us and they are accommodating to those who are gluten free.

The Haymaker Benedict

Cute restaurant in a strip mall. Service was great, but the food!!!! Goodness to goodies, it was fantastic. I had the Haymaker Benedict--And when they say it is perfect as-is, I agree 100%! This dish had just the right balance of all its ingredients. Smashed potatoes, enough veggie, crunch chicken breast, and fluffy eggs! Glad I'm just visiting because I'd be eating this breakfast WAY too often if I was local!

Rules 2 and 3 obviously not being followed, unsanitary and gross.
Beachy K.

The positive: 1. They have gluten free options 2. Our server was really good, nice, efficient. 3. The salad was pretty good 4. Everything in the order was how we asked for it. The negative: 1. The food wasn't great. Got the French dip and it was bland, and the beef was very fatty with a lot of grizzle. 2. My daughter got the ribs and the bread that came with it was a stale, untoasted piece of white bread straight out of a cheap package. Generic and disappointing. 3. The "dog friendly patio" rules are clearly just for funsies. A guy and two women showed up with two dogs, one was actually sitting with him ON the bench seat, the other one was eating from, and licking the table. At one point they started fighting over food. The female server came out several times and watched all of this and said nothing. Absolutely unsanitary and disgusting. I'll never come back here after seeing this. All of the seat cushions on the patio have questionable stains that make me wonder what dog's rear end was leaking on it. Moved to a hard chair wipable after witnessing this. 4. Used the bathroom and in the second toilet, the seat practically fell off the toilet. It's barely hanging on by a thread. Hopefully they fix that before someone breaks their neck. 5. The misters were "not working" and it was 93 outside with the sun beating on us. Not cool.

We looked at the website and noticed that they had some gluten-free alternatives for my hubby so that was a plus in our book. First thing we saw when we walked in was all the goodies that they have for their bloody Mary bar. They had over 30 different items that you could add to your Bloody Mary for as little as $14. This included meatballs, and bacon. Everyone that we spoke to was kind and very friendly. Son decided on the peanut butter and jelly French toast, hubby decided on the lemon ricotta and blueberry compote gluten-free pancakes, and since I knew I would be sharing the bougie biscuits. I just ordered two fried eggs. One of the things that was so great about this place -for especially gluten-free eaters - is that they were willing to adjust or accommodate almost anything on the menu in order to make it adaptable. The host, the gentleman behind the bloody Mary bar and our server were very well educated. The restaurant was super cute and had a vibe with black-and-white sayings all over the wall. The food was delicious although my husband said the pancakes were a little dense, but that's to be expected for gluten-free pancakes. Phoenix area ( Peoria) had some really good restaurants to choose from!

So when we drove past it during this weekend's trip to Peoria, AZ, I knew this was where we would be dining for at least one morning! Turns out we loved it so much that it turned into day 2's morning selection and our last meal before heading home! First I must say that the service was amazing. Our 2 wait staff members were adorably personable answering all my questions and returning several times to ensure we were well supported. Second, I loved the coffee latte in the mason jar. So good I got it both days. First morning was the Beast Eggs Benedict for me and the Chorizo omelet for Mr. Would definitely order both again. Mr. got biscuits with his omelet. OMG! These biscuits are the right biscuits--you know the difference if you've ever had good and not so good biscuits. These are the right kind of Southern style biscuits so good, make you wanna slap yo mama!! But that's not all. The homemade strawberry jam! It's everything. Just the right amount of sweet. One thing to note: the fried potatoes on my plate and the bell peppers on Mr's plate were both a tad al dente. Might be the style of the chef on the line. Both were enjoyable. Another thing to note: incredible portions. Go hungry. I had to ask for a box both mornings. Second day: I had the Monte Cristo which caught my eye the first day and the waitress assured me was a solid choice after the Beast. Y'all! So! Good! I have ordered many a Monte Cristo in my day. This was unique to the Biscuit cafe with one layer of beautifully cut ham and Swiss cheese nestled lovingly between two thick pieces of perfect french toast slices and dusted with powdered sugar. On the side was the famous homemade strawberry jam along with dijon mustard. The mix of all these flavors was perfection. Everything I dreamed it would be. Mr. got biscuits and gravy to try the sausage gravy and it was super! Really good seasonings and sausage flavor. Not too much pepper which is a frequent risk with white southern gravy. One more thing I absolutely must call out. If you're like me and love the idea of a flight so you can test out many flavors--mimosas, margaritas, cinnamon rolls, donuts, bacon, french toast, are just a few of the flights I remembered from the menu. This place has a minimum of one flight per category. This calls out to my "try everything" spirit. Hope it calls out to yours too! This is definitely staying in my Phoenix/Chandler saved places and we will definitely go back.

It's hard not to notice the DJ playing music when you first come in. It's interesting for a breakfast place but the music selection was a little youthful for my taste. There is also some black paper along the windows, which looks pretty tacky. The place also had an unpleasant stink to it. I was slow to be greeted by a server after being seated despite the fact that the restaurant was less than half full. The coffee was fair and the service was slow. I was hoping my breakfast would make up for it, especially since the prices were a bit higher than average. I got the pork chop and eggs. The pork chops were very thinly sliced and deep-fried but had an almost jerky like texture. My over easy eggs were also well done. They do have some interesting looking southern dishes on the menu that I was really curious about, but it's very unlikely that I will return. Are too many other good breakfast spots in the area. I did notice that a few of the tables toward the edge of the patio were wet from the misting system, though. The restaurant was extremely busy, so the service was on the slower side. The staff was friendly and working hard, but it definitely felt like they could use a few more people during peak brunch hours. The menu is fantastic. There are so many great options that I honestly had a hard time deciding what to order. I chose the red chicken chilaquiles. The tortilla chips had a great texture, but by the time they reached the table they had absorbed almost all of the sauce. I'm not sure if that's just their style of chilaquiles or if my plate had been sitting in the kitchen for a bit. The red sauce itself was good, but it tasted more tomato-forward than the traditional red chile flavor I usually expect from chilaquiles. The matcha was to sweet and creamy: not of my liking. It didn't taste like matcha. The matcha pancakes were good. The atmosphere is definitely part of the experience. They had a DJ playing music, giving the restaurant more of a fun nightclub vibe than a typical breakfast spot. It was unexpected, but I actually enjoyed it. They also have an impressive Bloody Mary bar with lots of toppings and garnishes. The only thing that gave me pause was that the topping containers are open and located right by the entrance, which made me wonder how much dust or debris they might be exposed to throughout the day. One thing to be aware of is that there was an additional service charge added to the bill, which may be related to paying with a credit card. The manager was very nice and attentive. The server was ok and the hostess could be more friendly. Parking lot is limited Overall, Hash Kitchen is a fun brunch spot with a lively atmosphere, a menu full of tempting choices, and food I'd happily come back to try again. I just wish the service moved a little faster during the busy brunch hours and that a couple of the small details were improved.
